Ah yes snapple elements I think was the name, I think this is still sold. It was just normal snapple flavors plus a few unique ones in larger glass & nicer bottles. Fire was cinnamon with something else I think it was apple? it was like a really spicy apple pie its been so long. The true meme drink of the 90's was orbitz or wtv the drink with those little glob balls in it. Thus making it like you were drinking a laval lamp peak 90's peak silly ass marketing gimmick. There was also that brand of juice in large glass bottles with iguana(s) wearing sunglasses as a logo?? It that came in a bunch of cool flavors and colours. I remember one flavour being bright creamy pink making it look like strawberry milk I think it was strawberry&banana. Soba was the name? 90's had so many popular brands that came and went like jolt surge tab justa. Ok soda with its dozens og hipster art variants on the cans

Both things that the colonizers would have had access to more than the natives. *Edit - a VERY quick search shows that the vast majority of Jamaican Taino natives had died out by the mid-16th Century. Well. I'm surprised you included the Fidel Castro new coke story but not the General Zhukov clear coca cola story General Zhukov was instrumental in the Soviet union, especially in fighting against the Nazis. He loved coca cola. He had coca cola imported sort of secretly to him in the Soviet union, but just requested they didn't add the dyes so he could claim it was carbonated vodka Stalin probably knew but zhukov was otherwise loyal and insanely popular after WW2. So, in essence, clear coca cola existed before clear Pepsi. But they were producing it as a special deal to keep clandestine relations open with the Soviet military open during the cold war And the US and Soviet governments most likely both knew about it and benefited from it Meanwhile, fanta used coca cola factories that were abandoned by the American company during the sanctions of WW2 bc they would not want to be seen as Nazi collaborators.

Since I live in the town where Kool-Aid was invented, I know you got a couple points wrong. Edwin Perkins may have been born in Iowa, but since he moved to Nebraska at the age of four, we kind of lay claim to him. The drink was originally called Fruit Smack, and did come in glass bottles, but after making the powdered form, he changed the name to Kool-Ade. Some government agency told him he had to change the name, because the “-Ade” implied there was fruit juice in it, and there was not. Edwin Perkins is fondly remembered here, and has a number of buildings that bear his name. If you ever pass through Hastings, the Hastings Museum has a nice Kool-Aid exhibit on the ground floor that is worth seeing.
