Solid interview. Thirstin is a living legend. Grew up hearing him all over the old Tony Touch mixtapes, killing shxt. Yo Thirstin if you read the comments later, this is Exel. I produced the joint with you, T Weaponz, and Temperamento back in the day. Always down to work again. Got a bunch of bangers in the stash.
So many legends from Brownsville Brooklyn like M.O.P, General Steele of Smif N Wessun,Heltah Skeltah,Thirstin Howl The 3rd,8 Off The Assassin(Agallah),D.V. Alias Khryst etc
Very dope interview, Thirstin is a dope MC and inspiring individual. As a Puerto Rican kid growing up in a Brooklyn housing project, with a drug addicted parent I relate to a lot of Thirstin’s lyrics. His music is insightful and funny at the same time. He has a line in one of his songs about walking his mom to the methadone clinic. That takes me back to walking to the methadone clinic with my pops as a little kid. SaLLute Thirst! 2L$ UP!!!

lo lives definitely weren't the only boosters in ny at the time. to be honest, the italian mafia had the boosting game on lock. they would steal entire shipments all the time. they did the largest heist in ny history with the airport heist in the 70s where they stole millions of dollars that i guess was designated for a bank or something. new york is the capital of so many industries like the garment industry, etc, so all groups of people were taking things. but as far as hijacking on an organized level, the italian mafia was even stealing coins from the banks and melting them down for the silver value and selling them to jewelry stores.
