"The Revolutionary Alphabet" is a ballad published in 1775 in the Constitutional Gazette newspaper in New York, used during the revolution of the Thirteen Colonies and during the formation of the United States of America.
The song sings of hopes that King George III will grant the Colonies freedom, or else he will face protest and civil war between the New World and Great Britain.
I do not represent any of the ideologies, countries, or religions shown on this channel. The purpose of this channel and its content is to historically present the music at hand and does not show support for nor against the party on screen, rather a neutral preservation standpoint so that the music is not lost to time. Not all parties shown on Danjori are widely accepted, however, I merely upload their songs to record history, good or bad.

Except that there were no verses for the letters "U" and "X." Why is that?

I love how our forefathers continously wished well of King George III, all throughout the revolution. Rarely wishing him ill.

I never heard thus, very interesting. Is this a moderate Pariot, Loyalist or neutral song?

At the time of its publishing, many American colonists didn't want to be independent, rather they wanted to remain under the Crown but be represented and have their own right to decide their own laws, essentially how the Commonwealth is now, independent in a sense but loyal to the King. That's why the song twice praises George III and that they hope he'll stop those trying to break up the Crown and the Thirteen Colonies

@@Danjori ah so they wanted to be merely autonomous right? A compromise? Like Canada would be... I think there was a last minute proposal Congress rejected. You should read the book "For Want of a Nail" if you haven't
