*Folks who are photosensitive - skip the video test as it does flash a lot* - Also don't mind during the camera test for front camera video it says "POVO" at the top, it's definitely not. Greetings everyone and welcome back to another installment in my iWish series and oh boy this was absolutely painful to review. It is definitely something that is for sure. Thanks to the folks that did donate towards seeing this on the channel, I do appreciate it! Let me know what you thought of this one down below :) Keep being awesome and I'll see you all soon! The australian tech gang. I hope we see a James Channel easter egg at some point. Especially the cat meow at the end has jumpscared me not once, but twice.
17:52 If I had a nickel for every time I watched an Australian dude boop his nose into a fake phone, I would have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but weird that it happened twice.
The whole "hissing" sound that plays after every time the speaker plays something reminds me of my mom's old Azumi A35c Lite; like, last year when I was goofing around with this phone I recalled multiple times hearing hissing from the speaker after playing the default ringtones on this out of boredom
HELL YEAH!!!!!! Finally a phone that can snatch red packets faster!! I was looking for a phone that was capable enough to do that!!! You have absolutely no idea of how happy I am!!!!!
"Red packet" has something to do with Chinese online monetary transactions . It is not completely random term. Maybe someone from China could elaborate.
@@aleksazunjic9672 It's the red envelopes with money inside, given by married couples during Lunar New Year to random relatives and friends. People who are into Islam do similar customs too with greener version of their envelopes. The amount of money are usually $1 for children but randomized to adults so if you're lucky, you might get 10x the amount they give!
Watching this while flying to Amsterdam. Thanks for always keeping me entertained. I will always continue to be a Smoorez Mad Lad (aka supporter of the channel) 😊
I am still lmao at the Vice Grip Derek cameo. "Factree" indeed. If I survive my current tribulations, I'm adding to your warchest towards the purchase of janky cells. Quality content, mate.
MT6580 devices are just depressing at this point, 3G is all but useless in a lot of places and the chip is a decade old and wasnt even that great back then.
Even the starter budget phone like A05 or A05s still perform MUCH much better than this "Welcome" phone. And for A05s, the price is around 120 to 150 (depend on the region) if I'm not mistaken. Cuz I use A05s as a spare phone alongside with S22+.
The very worst phone I ever bought was the Pova 6 pro from AliExpress. When it arrived it looked like an Infinix GT 10. Sort of. It was Soo bad when I complained they gave me money back no problem. The most impressive thing about this transaction was the speed with that they reimbursed me. Well done them for admitting rubbish and giving my money back. A weird way of being honest!!!
My daily driver 2023 flagship probably has a similar size chin. The joys of Sony. Welcome is everyehere, from multi geneeations ahead "flagships" to baby monitors and watchss. What a group
I would of done one more test - This one come up With the Clone Android TV Set Top boxes (malware) But is also showing up with the Clone Phones Also + Mini PC's
I'm pretty sure its Infinix phone (which is sold in Asia, mostly Pakistan India) they're allot cheaper so they just bought them and added Launcher in it. That's why in listing it was saying tested at Infinix center These phones cost arround $60-70 here
I need to know if the Samsung test mode also has the doggy image on this phone 😂 That would probably mean they just used the original app which I want to know aswell 😅
I like the nose unlock 😀 It's actually something I'm missing from reviews (from others) of genuine devices. They usually show how quick and easy fingerprint or face unlock is, but then they don't show what happens if someone else tries to unlock. I mean, quickly unlocking my phone is great, but not if someone else can do it too. Welcome devices are just in a whole other league of security, aren't they 🤣
00:59 - IF... Samsung go with a rear screen, well, in my opinion, THAT... Would be F@CKING STUPID... Who the F puts their phone down face first? You simply just INCREASE the chances of a scratched screen! And even IF you do put screen protectors on, you'll only find you'll go through the hassle of replacing said screen protectors MORE OFTEN! PLUS... With the sheer cost of replacing backs/fronts/repairing these expensive phones, people buy 'Tough cases', so, HOW with the rear screen thing work then??? Jeez! it's just INSANITY! 😒😒😒 😎🇬🇧
It amazes me that welcome still has a market given how many videos like yours showing how shite these phones are I'd sooner buy the og razor phone hell even a pixel 1 would be a better option.
They should ban the mt6580 or any other similar powered processors on mobile phones And the processors will have to meet specific requirements such as being able TO PLAY A RU-vid VIDEO AT LEAST
Calling it before the video tells me the actual camera megapixels: 48 is 4.8 and 72 is 7.2. Jokingly, if you look at the listing images, you have to have 100000X zoom, but there's likely a nanoscopic dot between the numbers for the megapixels hehehe.
Logical Correction: 48mp is 480p and 72mp is 720p and them trying to be clever using those numbers as trickery. /shrug At least that would have almost worked number wise if the back cam was actually 720p.
I'm really puzzled why people need a really clear camera. Most people are ugly as they just want to capture people's ugliness in ultra hd i guess, but thanks for the vid😂😂😂
On the plus side the Ali S24 Ultra Welcome Economy Budget Phone is Great for Battery and Data Saving . . . it only allows a 2G mobile connection, so no need to mess around in Settings to economise your running costs . . . 😂🤣🤣🤣
Real Moto (Motorola) phones have their own set of features under "Moto Display", "Moto Actions" etc. They just stole the name but used generic system settings instead
Why the premiere? How come you can't release a video just when it's done? Subscribers will watch it anyway (I know I will) and anyone else will find it eventually whether it's released at 12pm or 1pm. Or maybe I just don't understand it.
It's more that I can interact with viewers while they watch it and it's good to see other peoples reactions in real time if that makes it easier to understand it?
How are these "phones" even allowed to be sold? Two ways you can immediately tell its always fake is the price point for these "technology packed" devices and the awful google translate ai descriptions.
Calling it the "Snapdragon 8" like they do is like calling it the Microsoft 360 lmao The listings are always wild, they claim to have the best of the best at a lower price than it would cost to even make blueprints for, which leaves you either guessing what it could be, or stuck with a 50th MT6580.
When you can get a pretty good new in box Moto g series phone from 2021 and before for 100-150 these welcome phones are definitely not the thing lol. That's not even bringing up old used phones.
