If you're happy then buy it. Life is to short not to buy what you want. Honestly $2500 for that much car isn't that bad. My buddy wanted to buy his first Electric Rc Car and I told him to get an Xmaxx Ultimate and after the batteries,charger and extra tires etc it was close to $2500 too. Anyways that rig is sick, love it.
