This 1928 Ford Model A Hasn't Run in Over 60 Years! | Roadworthy Rescues 

There is so much I feel is missing. MT has this idea that we all dont have enough of an attention span, that we can barley hang on for 15 minutes. If you know Derek's fan base, you'd know we watch all 2 hours of his episodes and love every minute of it. I want the history on this car. I want to see the first start and Derek's reaction. I just want more. What a waste....

Love how it jumps from "we got compression" to "now we're driving on the street". First starts are not a thing MotorTrend cares about. 🤦‍♂

Paul seems like a super nice guy donating his time to this pretty junky car and getting it to run. I've caught several of Paul's videos on these old cars and I love the simplicity and thoughtfulness of their design when working on cars was part of their initial design. I love Paul's shirt that says "I am the warranty".

My dad has a 24 model T and a 31 Model A. Simple to work on and simple to diagnose. Great cars.

Awesome. I’ve got an 09 Buick …1909 which is crazy to drive. Throttle and advance in the wheel. Brake on the right first gear reverse are clutches and second gear is a lever.

Excellent job of breaking the engine down and replacing defective parts and then the pleasure of driving this old girl. Paul Shinn has so much knowledge about these Model A's and Model T's he's a valuable man to have by your side.

A fun interesting video. Amazing what a "feller" can do with a bunch of replacement parts, A well equipped shop, a lift, an expert helper, and a LOT of video editing! Truthfully, I like the Vice Grip Garage videos a lot better.

That was excellent! When I was just a kid, all my buddies had model A's so I learned a lot from them. I never had a Ford but the basics are still there. Gas, spark, compression. Bang!

I always enjoy watching Derek tinkering with older cars and teaching the youngins the specific names to the parts of an engine. This one was to short though.

Great to see. this. in 1967 in New Zealand Fjiordland, a Maori work mate took us eel fishing in his 1929 model A. I was amazed when it climed a very steep river bank while seemingly just ticking over. I have never forgotten it.

back in the early 60's my brother and i had a model A woody wagon that was rough and we tinkered with it, learned on our own about cars and got it running and driving.

I liked the head removal trick. I liked the VGG version of this save a little more but adding the two of them together made it great.

Excellent video Derek :) yes those Model A cars are interesting in 1994 at first Restoration shop I work we did body also electrical to 1929 Model A Woody car also so fun work on and Motor was updated to a Flat Head 292 1 barrel carb with hand choke cable to steering wheel plus Floor shifter h patterns R with 1 & 2 6 volt positive ground electrical start or hand crank handle same brakes as 1928 has plus wheels! I have seen car in years since Restoration and but be nice someday! You enjoy 1928 nice work get motor and test drive Derek!
