This is really helpful info but the part about how long someone spends with you being an indicator of value I don't think is right. Ive had people come out and quote and spend ages chatting and its not necessary....it doesnt take 1.5 hours to quote a paint job so anyone spending that long is just ' chatting ' and wasting the custoners time. Ive lost count of the number of quotes ive had where the person just ' chats ' and fills space and it puts me off buying. When a quoter comes in assesses the job asks the right questions and leaves Im much more likely to hire them because they are efficient with their time and respect my time. Also means they probably woek more efficiently too 😊 People will also never tell you if they dont trust you even if you ask them explicitly ...so i woild never ask that.
You are right about not overdoing chatting and building rapport. There is also a lot more to our sales process than I can fit in a 30 minute video. Almost everything you’re saying is spot on. Personality selling and mirroring your customer is another big one that’s not in this video
