2:13 yes, she beat the England women’s team coach Lorin D’Costa. Very strange end because D’Costa was in a winning position (2 pawns and a knight vs just a bishop). D’Costa flagged and somehow there was a legal checkmate still possible for Sivanandan (don’t ask me how 😂) so the arbiter awarded her the win. She is a remarkable kid and as long as she continues to enjoy chess the sky really is the limit.

well Blitz wins do not count for real strength. i also bet a 2200 player at a tournament without even having any rating. got to an equal position in the endgame and just forced a win on time. so i was at least 600 elo lower rated (if i had a rating) but could still win.

If there is a rook pawn, then an example mate is with the Black king on h1, the Black pawn on h2, the White king on f1, and the white bishop on the h1-a8 diagonal. It's not realistic, but FIDE rules don't account for that.

Her determination and skill are truly outstanding, especially her performance at the European Blitz Chess Championship where she scored 8.5 out of 13 against a field filled with Grandmasters. Her game analysis, particularly the draw against a seasoned Grandmaster, shows her strategic depth and foresight on the board. It's heartwarming to see young talents like Boron paving the way for future generations in chess. She's not just a player to watch; she's a budding superstar setting new standards in the game.
