This 83 Camaro is a ripper 

that 2.8 in '83 actually only put out around 107 hp if its carburated, not 130, unless it's fuel injected. The fuel injected 2.8 became standard in '85. They were turds either way lol.... but it's a cool car. My old man had an '83 as well, similar grey color, but was the Berlinetta trim.

Whats really impressive is the dash pad isnt cracked. Thats a 2 year only pad, 82-83. They redesigned it for 84 and up because they were falling apart within a year. You can tell an early 82-83 pad because the edge where it hangs over your legs it is flat and vertical, the new ones swoop to a point. Nice car. Car is atleast worthy of a 305

Like the plain Camaros of this era more and more car looks pretty clean a LS chevy truck engine with some upgrades would make this car very nice and with the weight if these cars it would hold its own against most late model muscle cars while probably getting close to the same gas mileage or economy clean looking car good luck with it

Run some Lucas fuel injection cleaner through it and you’ll be surprised.
