Myself, I enjoy the walking and talking as you tour the yard like I'd be doing if I were there. Usual great video as always. Thank you for taking us along.
I certainly enjoy "walking" around with you, listening to your stories and the full comments. I'd have enjoyed actually doing it when I picked up the Celica, if I had the time to. And if it's easier to edit, I'd definitely keep doing it. Great job as always Randy!
I *LOVE* these Run & Gun videos! It really connects you and the audience in what it takes to make one of these Copart videos. Also, it's too bad the F-150 is sold, it looked really clean! Plus the 5.0 is one of the most reliable V8s Ford produced! I'm also hoping you get the Monte Carlo SS! It's a cool looking car!!! I wish I could say the same for the Firebird, but that's going to be a large project for sure. It's still cool looking nonetheless!
Randy I have that same engine in my 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix. When you hear the 3800 engines rattle like that upon start. You have to alway check the coolant level, since they're notorious for having cooling issues. The fact that the Monte didn't have any air conditioning means that it need a water pump, thermostate and quite possibly radiator fans. Due to the fact of the engine being ran hot for being low on coolant. Trust me, I just did a water pump and thermostat on my Grand Prix and it runs beautifully, compared to what it did before. Which is just fricking perfect.
I really like the walk around and it’s like seeing the cars and trucks in real time! Thanks very much for enduring this oppressive heat to share your day with us!!! Stay safe!!!
Those 3800 series engines are very reliable and strong you can really rack up the miles with those engines, we have a Pontiac Grand Prix and it has over 250,000 miles on it and it runs perfect and continues too. if you were to find one that is is good shape with somewhat lower miles you should get it cause those engines really can last for a long time and again good for racking up the miles.
Thats a clean 82 Trans Am. It has the turbine gold wheels, that came with the wheelcovers (like in Knight Rider) That is not bad condition, so long as the floors arent rotted. Theyre easy to work on , and parts are starting to be available once again. Im starting on an 85 revival, restoration. Mine is a manual though
That trans am is the right year range for a KITT replica… it’s the right hood and tail lights. I wonder if the seats were the Recaro seats… those alone are worth a ton even as cores.
My mom bought a ranger rover evoke brand new in 2016 and she bought it right off the show floor and she still drives it and she loves it has 190,000 miles. We haven’t had any major problems with it. I think that range rover bring good content to your channel Randy.❤
Thanks for this, you are living the dream... If i live in USA i would be there all the time and buy many cool cars. My country is the exact opossite of that. Bad place to born if you like cars. This is my favorite RU-vid car channel. And i watch many RU-vid car channels. The videos like this one when you walk around are the best, as you said is the closest thing to being there.
The walk around is great. It make me feel like I'm right there with you. It really makes me want to find a Copart near me. My neighbor and I are retired and he's big into cars. We'd probably have a blast checking out Copart. Continued success with your channel Randy.
@JB91710 I understand what you're saying. There were some cars i wanted to see more in depth. If it was a live stream, we could reach out in real-time. That's why I said that I want to find a Copart near me. I would love just walking around the lot at my own pace.
@micahhaywood9936 One way they make money is through the number of comments they get. If he shows us a lot of cars, he can ask us for our choices and then do another video on them. The bottom line is that they make money by keeping us interested and coming back.
That F150 was one of the special edition NASCAR edition trucks they only made those for a few years I believe. I think all the performance stuff was added on though. I love those old FWD gm cars from the 80s and 90s like that Oldsmobile. I even like the early 2000s fwd GM cars. That Trans Am was pretty cool too..I also have appreciation for the old stuff nobody likes or wants 😂
I absolutely love the walk arounds since I live in Missouri, I've been thinking about buying a vehicle from copart however I'm not sure how to do it, but I do love the walk arounds so I can see what they have on their lot
Randy, you need a rebuilder again, like swampvette! That procharged F150 would be fun! That system is expensive, just find another 4.6 (maybe steal the one from the crown vic??). and get that truck on the road again. That's a killer sleeper truck
That old truck is sweet! Im actually going to look at a 94 olds 98 regency, not running though. Saw it on the road here a few weeks back, high km but very clean.
My sister had an 83 IROC Camaro with the crossfire. Those carbs were awful to keep tuned. I did not cry when she sold it because I always had to work on the damn thing
The last turbo for several years was in 1981, last of the 2nd generation cars. The shaker sat in front of the driver and not the center, and had lights in it to indicate turbo boost. The 3rd generation T/A had the shaker on the driver's side for the 82-84 model years.
Thanks for taking us with you and showing us your route and a nice cars and some of the stuff that you have at home. I’m really impressed with your Maserati and that old Chevy was so beautiful. I just don’t understand why you don’t keep something like that that’s just an amazing car. I hope what you did you get all the money that you invested in it and what you have in it but it is so hard when you have something so nice some people don’t see the quality of car did that really is
Hey Randy I've been watching your videos for a very long time I enjoy them I like the way you're doing the walk around and working on vehicles on the weekend awesome the best for you and family and monkey wrench Mike use a good guys I enjoy Ebikes as well I have a 21 speed mountain bike with a 7 50 electric Greek bike Paul from Hamilton Ontario Canada stay safe
The nascar was decal package on the 90’s F150 you can put your hand over the intake to shut it off , and the truck was suffering from dieseling which is a run away engine .
The 3rd gen Trans Am didn’t get a turbo until 1989, when the put in the V6 from the Grand National. None of the turbo hood Firebirds had a turbo until then.
I'm interested in a 98 olds regency. Was my first car in high school. Was actually doing a search to find one a couple aways ago. The comfort of those seats are imprinted in my mind. Wish you would've covered it.
