You are so right it will be the nice house that be the ones get torn down, What happened to putting it on the Market, So people can find it and want to buy it.
I watch you because you know how to talk to us like you're talking to a friend. Like you're showing us what you found. I've checked out others and they just don't have what you have--sincerity. We can feel what you're feeling when you look at these houses. Keep on going! Thank you for taking us along for the ride!
Don't know why the homes are going to be taken down. Like you said they were not even that long. Ethan, Your video's are wondeful. You always respect the homes you show us. Your video's have helped me to be mindful as I watch and listen. Thank you for sharing the homes that you view. 😍
You are doing exactly what you're suppose to be doing, and sharing it with all of us, and I, for one, am very grateful and thankful. You do it with such careful careful consideration, and allow us to see something we never would have without you. Keep up the amazing work. You are appreciated.🥰
Yes it is a shame about trashing things not giving them to someone who needs any of it, you have a very kind soul to have your heart hurting because of houses like this. Hand in there as I’ll still watch your video.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👋🏻👋🏻
Hi Ethan I thought these 2 houses looked familiar especially the second one. I have to say that the first one was a real beauty. It makes you wonder why they would want to sell it and leave. You hit the nail on the head when you said it’s all about the money. The almighty dollar. I have said this before that it seems common for good houses in Canada to get demolished even when they aren’t that old. 15 years is not old. I guess it’s called PROGRESS but it sucks. I listened to your little talk at the end of the video. I certainly appreciate your work. Keep it up and before you know it, it will be 100K. Stay safe and well.❤👍💕 Looking forward to seeing your interview with Dave.😊
What an absolute shame to demolish something so beautiful and not that old down…..so wasteful on so many levels. Thank you for the time you invest keeping your audience entertained and for your genuineness.
Hey Ethan, thanks for sharing another exciting adventure, I still can't understand why these lovely homes that are newer & really nice are being demolished!! That land must be extremely valuable!!! 👍👍🙂
If you can't find an Investor to fund you, you can't fix them up. In a lot of cases, if a house sits idle long enough it becomes even more Expensive to fix as Deterioration starts eating away at them.
The first home was super nice, I love all the stone and brick elements. It is totally ridiculous that it would be demolished, but I get it, GREED has existed far longer than this home and all of us, and unfortunately it seems to never fade! Whatever the circumstances though, the reality is that today is tomorrow's history, just as this newer home is already unbelievably 15 yrs old! It is an awesome and important job that you do, preserving the history of these places through documentation. Your passion for these places, and your kind and caring personality really shine through! Keep doing You!! 💖😎✌️
Ethan we 💖your channel. You take such care when showing these empty properties. Today was great- a 2-fer! Really liked the first home and wonder why no one lives there and why it is being demolished. The second house was no bad. Could have been updated and would still be nice. For the life of me- not sure how that nice bathtub fit into that bathroom. Hope it will find a new home. It’s great that You look very handsome with a hat. It was great that you had an outro for us. You do such an excellent job on these explores and we are always happy to see you pop up in our RU-vid feed. SO happy for all your success Ethan and glad you are able to do what you love for a living. It’s awesome when good things happen to nice people. Two 👍🏻👍🏻thumbs way up young man. Excellent job and content continuously. We love you in Texas🤠Ethan! 🤜🏻🤛🏻🙌🏻👏🏻
Thank you, Ethan! And your passion comes through - whether you're excited by what you're finding or pissed off that it's being demolished. I honestly can't remember how I found your channel but we live in the same province so I was eager to check out your videos. That was a while ago and you and your passion grew on me -- I'm here to stay! ✌🥰
Such a nice home. I'm sad to learn it will be demolished. I really love the second house-especially that brick fireplace and bay window. My cat would live in that window. And I appreciate what you said at the end of this video, about wanting to entertain and hopefully make our days better. I am going through some very difficult times right now, and let me tell you, depression is not easy to overcome. But for a little while, when I watch your videos, I think of nothing else but what you are showing us. So, thank you for that. Thank you for brightening my day a little☺ God bless and take care❤
Ethan I started watching your videos when my grandma was sick and I was taking care of her. You helped me get through the rough yet unforgettable time that was. You do a great job. You have a lot of knowledge and you are so respectful of the properties and surroundings. Thank you for all you do. Love seeing your vids. I look forward to them.
Wow Ethan I'm right there with you it's crazy tearing down a house this new. I can only imagine how beautiful it was before they started ripping everything out. I loved the tile work in the master bathroom , shower and the double sided fireplace. The different levels, the vaulted ceilings with the extra woodwork. Added features pool and poolhouse out back. Can't understand why people want to throw it away. Thank you for showing it before it's gone. I appreciate your work. 🌞🙏🎉
Ethan I look forward to each video that you put out. For at least 2 years now , you take us with you touring all these homes with history and or architechture. I love how you do the research into most of the houses and give little details into the rooms. I just wanted to say thank you for all the effort and hard work you put into this channel.
Defaulting on the loans my friend--- People living beyond their means is very popular in the United States. I'm not sure if its the same up in Canada, but that's what happens often. Also, new buyers purchase the land and instead of doing the right thing, they want their own designs. We live in a selfish society now in 2023--- Sad! Great work Ethan
Hello Ethan it is a shame seeing homes like this being destroyed. It was interesting hearing how you got started you’re doing amazing job. Always enjoy watching. Take care and stay safe out there 😊
Ethan your enthusiasm for the properties speaks for itself. One can definitely tell that you enjoy doing what you do. I love houses especially the vintage ones and always enjoy your videos. I knew I wasn’t crazy at the beginning of this one thinking that I had seen it before but that’s ok still enjoyed. And definitely remembered the tub in the hallway. Look forward to seeing more. Take care be well and be safe. Try some tea with honey and lemon for your cough.
wow Ethan , you found an awesome gem . i really appreciate iit . you go through great length to show all of us viewers great content . that is a giant pool . i personally like the first house 🏡🏡not a huge fan of the split level homes . but looking forward to the next vlogs . i still enjoy all the of places you take us. thank you Ethan .i been watching your channel for alittle over three years now
Shockingly wasteful...ceilings were pretty neat 👌....loved your chat at the end, I said it before you always make me smile ,and i look forward to your posts ..keep doing what you do ..stay safe, well and happy..💋😘❤️
Ethan,You Always bring Us Nothing But The Best 💯 Thank You For All Your hard Work You do to bring Us these beautiful Abandoned Mansion ❤️ Lot's Of Love 💗 from San Antonio Texas ❤️ I also have a bad Cough So i know how you feel Ethan 💯 Your My Inspiration Ethan 🤗❤
Every time you come to homes like these, that still look newer and barely lived in, it makes me want to scream. I will never understand such greed and wastefulness.
We love you Ethan and your awesome video. 1st house was really nice. Shame it will be demolished, what a big waste. Money, wonder how much the families were offered. Hmm! 2nd one, not so good. Trashed already. Look forward to more videos of the remaining houses if they don't get demoed first.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You're such a caring and compassionate young man. I really enjoy your videos! I catch myself commenting or agreeing with you. It is a shame that things aren't donated for reuse in other homes. Waste is a huge problem everywhere!
Ethan ,Thank you for what you do for us . I believe you show & tell us the very best of all the RU-vid videos out there . "NOBODY BETTER" I'm your biggest fan. I hope you will always enjoy making these videos as much as I enjoy watching them! Thank You Ethan.
This is just unbelievable. What could they possibly be putting in there that was worth buying up these homes and tearing them down. I would love to own one of the homes you have shown.
Oh my God,it feels like hey this house was built before 2023 so it must go now today, what a huge waste!!! I don't see the point of demolish a brand new house like this, almost new. Thanks for the tour, stay safe!
Such a shame about this beautiful house. Core renovated and modernized it would be a dream. Bad when houses that are not even old are already in such a condition. And above all, that there is already so much moisture in it. That must have been a botch job or something. Questions over questions! 😮 The layout of the rooms is also really good. You can put stuff in there with no problems. The wall in the bathroom with these stonetiles is super cool. The second one has a nice staircase.
My Son is named Ethan. His nick was Mannie Truth. Please consider wearing a mack to protect you from stuff in the air in these places. I enjoy your Channel a lot. Congratulations on your channels growth. Keep Rocking it.✌️"What's Up Guys". Be Safe
The only logical reason I can think of is there is an issue with the developments stability. This happened to a subdivision in Sechelt BC. 14 million dollar mansions had to be evacuated and abandoned due to sinkholes that were ignored during the construction phase in 2018-2019. The houses are stunning and don't look abandoned as owners were given hours to evacuate whatever they could carry and weren't allowed back. Most are still full of furniture, vehicles/boats, personal belongings and keepsakes. Tragic.
Along with my other comment, at least in this first home that you showed, they did salvage the trim and some of the commodes and things like that and maybe even the cabinets and stuff and that’s always a good thing😊
Since I believe you said something about more houses in this neighborhood are abondened, I wonder if something is wrong with the land itself? Or if the homes were either built not up to code, something in the build itself is not safe? I hate to believe this is all for greed. I just don't understand why people would do that. Thank you Ethan for the explore. It's very sad. Sad indeed. Blessings to you Ethan and please, always stay safe.
Nice house! Except the basement as usual for me because I am not used to it in my country.😲 These large areas under the house seem a little worrying to me. Through your videos that I enjoy, I continue to be surprised by what people leave behind... 😉👍
This madness is partly why I support the idea of having a non monetary Resource based economic system ..a system where we would simply calculate and build the best houses we can for everyone based on the resources we have. No mansions for the rich and no tiny homes for the poor. No wasted materials.
seems like a rather unfair thing to do. you best bet if i can afford it i’m living in an 8,000sqft house. why should i have to have the same amount of space and even amount of luxuries as someone who isn’t as wealthy. not a society i’m interested in
Insane is a word you use a lot in n this video and it perfectly describes this throw away house. Just insane that this home will be torn down soon! Thanks for sharing
People just don't know how blessed they are. It is a damn shame. No....the baby bed in the nursery wasn't creepy. The stupid Hollywood horror movies has ruined the sweetness of babie, children, dolls, toys, and the clowns. That makes me mad too. When I was growing up all those were supposed to be a happy things. Anyway, I could just imagine how beautiful they were in the 90's/ 2008. They still look like brad new on the outside of the houses. So sad. I'm screaming.....why couldn't you just give me one of these beautiful homes? 🥺😧😞
@ethanminnie Sorry I missed this one. You explain your respiratory health. I didn’t want to sound hateful with my last comment, and I didn’t think for a second you were like that. It was just a suggestion. I’m glad you had covered it. Keep this stuff up man! I really enjoy your videos
This is a sin, such beautiful homes being torn down when so many have no home! People are so greedy and destructive. It's sickening. Sorry Ethan it just is so disheartening to see home after home destroyed because of waste a d greed!
Hi Ethan 😎🏎,Wow that 1st house had a nice ceiling and fireplace. The dining room ceiling was nice.Looks like the whole house was gutted, that’s crazy.I wonder what happened to the family. The house is all ripped apart. It’s a shame to waste a house that’s from 2008. Wow the pool was nice with a pool house to,like just throwing money away.ok house #2- strange entry lol,the fireplace looks old school,I liked the bay window how it’s curved.the kitchen looks old school.wow the upstairs is destroyed, funny the tub in the hallway 😂,the place is so wrecked omg.Oh I just watched your interview with Freaktography and that was awesome to watch 😊. Ok 3rd part looks like your at home 😊,Always be yourself and do what makes you happy😎🏎 ,I am going to watch your next video,I apologize again for not being caught up with your videos 🏡🏡🏡
Doing a fantastic job there Ethan, understandably i think everyone agrees. Ethan i reckon the best year for the best quality in tact bando houses was 2020/21 there were allot of housing stock that were custom built not predictable cookie cutter. These row of houses you found are good very nicely designed inside but they havent been lived in for long 15 years thats nothing, sad their going good they being recycled for materials. im one of those that needs to be taken away at the end of hectic day thru your great vids i like to play detective why did they abandon this and that. Anyway the best bando houses are the ones that have seen parties, pools and had lots of family thx for the tours.
Be glad you’re tall! 14.5% of men are over 6ft with only 1% being 6’4” and over. Those are US stats, but Canada is very similar. As a taller woman, finding a man who is taller than me is hard lol
Either you already filmed these houses or someone else did. I remember the room with the crib with the stickers on the wall and the the one with the camera in the bag and the briefcase.
This is really sad to see this house taken down. I have to wonder if there's something structurally wrong with all three of them? Something doesn't sound right... Or did they sell to commercial Land developers? Really lovely home :-(
