Welcome back to Catalonia. The Rodes massif is a mountain that juts out from the Iberian peninsula. On it some 9th century monks decided to build one of the best examples of Catalan Romanesque art. It is the Sant Pere de Rodes Monastery. Follow us on a journey through its history as we take you through the complex. On the way you’ll discover why the abbey has two cloisters built on top of each other. You’ll learn why two towers are better than one. And you’ll be awestruck by the magnificence of the 11th century church. Thanks for following along!
