Yeah its called WW2, the Soviets had about 160 000 planes, the Germans about 120 000 planes manufactured in total through the war, of everyone in total almost 900 000 planes were manufactured from 1939 to 1945.
I probably did this on historical but I don't remember. I do remember going United Kingdom of Portugal and Brazil to have the manpower to actually do it though, and getting kicked out of and joining the Allies about a hundred times while fighting Japan.
I remember i went for this achievement right when it first came out. Then i accidentally took a singular chinese state in the peace conference without the ability to return it to my collab government and proceeded to scream
Thing about doing achievements off historical is you can use the game rules to make specific countries still follow their historical paths while still being achievement eligible. Also there is a game rule now that allows you to turn puppet and minor contributor warscore (apart from players) into overlord/major contributors war score and the options are all achievement eligible.
At leat I had some fun doing this achievement back in 2020. Was able to conquer the Allies, Axis, Comintern and Japan by 1943 on non-historical. Again, like ISP said it takes A LOT of luck when choosing non-historical.
I remember completing this achievement with my old laptop and it finished in 1947.... It tooks like 2 consecutive days to go from '46 to '47... needless to say... it was really "fun"
Will it ruin you as much as trying to win as Ethiopia in patch 1.5.4 with the only dlc active being Poland United and Ready and Historical German Portraits, because I think that one broke me
@Banana Warrior I actually managed to beat Italy as Ethiopia, it took a lot of micro and some save scumming but I did it, I lasted till 1939 when ww2 started and the allies saved me

How this achievement exists is one thing, how someone can do it is extremely impressive. This video is why I don’t do many achievement runs on my own, as it’s just too damn draining.
I like the chaos of non historical ai because I easily got the achievement of winning a defensive war as Switzerland because communist France declared war on me and non aligned Germany came to my aid
Funny story about this achievement: For some reason, Japan lost to China (even though I even sent an attache to them), which Macau My Day even easier. Oh and I did it with Monarchy. Wasn't difficult.

I assume its easier by just going Portuguese-Brazil Empire, invade Spain as usual, destroy Netherlands to get Indonesia, create a thick marine core, make some brick walls for French border. Then just naval invade Britain in 1939 before WW2 and let France become next major, then naval invade from Britain to France before the Germans get to them. After that you "might" have to capitulate Australia or Canada, but thats relatively easy by comparison, so after this is done. You have a Japanese unified China, stack some fat stacks in your now owned Vietnamese territory alongside Macao and that French place, you can just steamroll China with some 14kph medium tanks that go pew pew.
I did this achievement only once and I don’t think I had the Portugal and Spain DLC installed whichever one that is so that was wonderful. Completed it blind, somehow first try, but have never been able to do it again. Nor do I want to.

I found this one to be one of the very few meme achievements that was actually a lot of fun to get. If anything it taught me that Portugal can become a fucking monster.

Having needed to do this six times because "Form a collaboration government" is vague as shit and very easy to do wrong, I can easily say this is the worst achievement in all of HOI4
I tried to do this achievement once, was about 5 minutes away from capping China, then my game got stuck in an unavoidable hard crash. Please never go for achievements in paradox games, everyone.
This achievement shouldn't be that bad though if you do monarchist, rush Spain in 39, then afterwards rush the allies and destroy the faction. Then you can go ham in China.
