I think a lot of Fundies also have ASPD (psychopathy / sociopathy) because one of their main 'arguments' against atheists is, "if you don't have a god that gives you rules to obey, what's stopping you from going out and committing atrocities?" But if they're TOO scary (to a sheltered 5 year old), it'll backfire. The goal is to make the children compliant, and to feel safe as long as, and only if, they stay in that specific church community. So, in the church mindset, "their" good guys (the non-Christian good guys, IOW) should be scarier than "our" (the Christian animation's target viewers') demons... the faith is instilled thru these types of presuppositions, even more than by the overt messaging. It's good of you to notice and point it out, so that people can become conscious of the manipulation. Sometimes even the preachers don't understand what they're doing - they're just copying what was done to them, and doing it to the next generation, because it provides the comfortable lifestyle and popularity that they crave. Just know that, deep down, many of those smiling happy people are miserable inside, and some very dark shit happens behind closed doors.

Surprisingly enough, some mammals have it too. Cats have it, although you don't normally see it because I think it only comes out once the eyelid we all know about is already closed. A long time ago my family put our cats on tranquilizers when traveling with them because that was believed to make traveling easier on them. Anyway some of the time during that trip I could see that membrane had come out a little ways and was just staying there when their eyes were otherwise open. And don't worry about the cats. Once the drugs wore off their eyelids worked normally again. It's just that for some reason when they were a little zonked out but still conscious that membrane tended to creep out a little bit, like the muscle that normally controls it got a little lazy or something.

Doing my best to remember my Catholic upbringing, Adam and Eve committed the first sin, so because of them, all humans were sinners and doomed to hell. Jesus's birth, life, and specifically his death was God's reset. Jesus is the sacrificial lamb for all of humanity, so he opened up the path to heaven for those who followed him. I assume all the good people in Hell would have been true believers had they been alive after Jesus. Jesus going into Hell was not part of my religious education, though. That's usually John Constantine in my experience.

This is all a weird misreading of even the traditional Christian belief about what happened here, which is not that he descended to the same place that has the lake of fire and whatever. All the dead people were there because the place he went was literally just "the underworld", not all the other stuff that's associated with Hell. They weren't there being tortured or whatever. This is the problem with doing evangelism by AI, the AI might just make stuff up that literally isn't Biblically accurate. (I don't believe any of this, but I was raised evangelical.)

I don't think it's that. It starts reflecting a light on the fingernail, then gets confused. One of the major problems with AI images or video is the lack of ability to maintain consistent lighting direction/intensity. It doesn't start that color, it's just something that changes as the lighting shifts.
@@Nassifehyes, that would make sense. There is a kind of feedback loop and it could be that what it started as just a little reflection of the lighting ended up being treated as a light source in its own right. I suspect the longer you kept those animations going the weirder they would get.
