I've been using Glong for about 3 months now (Beta), and it's an amazing platform. You do need to go over the transcription, as it can get some takes wrong, but compared to regular editing, it saved 40-50% of the editiig time.

Reasons why I think you'd use TimeBolt over Gling: Cuts far more accurate because transcriptions are inherently inaccurate (ie not pulling xml files back and forth -- which is kind of the point), faster to sculpt a timeline than any NLE, umcheck yourself, the tech falls apart with unscripted Zoom / Riverside, multi track audio, type in chapter descriptions that copy / paste into RU-vid, and with capture you can share a watchable video in a link faster than it takes to record live. I'd challenge anyone to a speed contest.

Thanks guys, I tried the Vidyo and Get Munch you also highlighted and for now I’m still faster and more accurate than AI. AI is getting there though esp with Premiere Pro auto image fill/captions so I’m excited to see what’s coming.

Thank you!! I was literally praying and asking God to confirm what He wanted me to do with these training videos I’m creating - teaching kids how to publish their own books. I remembered awhile ago that I saw something that helped edit videos because time is something I really need to maximize - but I couldn’t remember what it was. I said Lord help…and the notification for this video appeared 1 sec later. Children of God are lead by the spirit….thank YOU!!!

Think Media Editor here, I used to use Descript to do the same thing but I like gling more because I can make edits after the fact with an xml file. Whereas with Descript it would only render out a file, so I couldn’t adjust anything if it makes mistakes. Gling is definitely not perfect and glitchy at times, but it’s so helpful and will get better over time

I have been looking around for such apps for past few days. A similar app which is cheaper is recut, only difference is you dont get transcription editing. Also recut is one time payment no subscription

my only issue with gling (just tried for the first time) is that there’s no way to add back clips that have been edited out if they aren’t in the transcript? i wish you could just unclick the greyed out video on the bottom to add back!

Honest question. Are you consistently using Gling yourself? You’ve built a lot of trust with me. I got the product based on your recommendation. It took longer to edit than usual. It curbed but didn’t cut the silent spaces and required quite a bit of input from me to identify the double takes. Perhaps I did something wrong on my end. If so, I apologize for even asking. But are you legitimately using this product to reduce your own editing time?

Hey I just got GLING and I really like it. Here is just a question I have. The program provides me with an XML file that's compatible with Adobe Premiere. 📁 Here's where I could use some help: How do I sync this already-edited XML file with the high-quality audio I recorded separately and that is not edited yet? 🎤

before you use gling. put your main video plus your high quality audio and sync them by extracting the bad audio first. then putting your highquality audio and then combine the video and audio and then sync up both audio and video track and then put it in gling and do your thing

Good morning, I don't know if you will receive my message or read it but I have a question for you. I am subscribed to your channel which is very interesting. I watch all your videos. I have a problem, I would like to be able to do live with external microphones like Dji mic, mv88+ ect but once I start my live. My subscribers can't hear me. Is there an adapter to make the external mic work in live social media, I searched for either end, and found no solution and no one talking about it. Thank you for answering me. not showing a really practical result of the input and output of the example. It don't have to be deep into how to use, just to get an idea of automatic results. And there a differences and preferences in editing. RU-vidr, shortfilm, cinematography, documentary, etc. ... I can't imagine this will help to cut the editing time into a half of most cases. And there is also the individual artistic visual language and form of expression. It seems to me that since you can't enter keywords as far as I can see, it's not really an idea generator either.
