I actually flew the same route also Premium and yea I didn`t meet much People on Premium. Honestly the crew was fantastic! Going to fly again but in economy
Thank you for your review, it was very enjoyable but I had to watch it twice over. Because you've chosen a written commentry and it flashes up onscreen and is gone before it can be fully read meant that I couldn't actually see the video at all. The information which you've provided is very important and integral to complement the visuals, maybe a better format would be a voice-over commentary thus allowing the viewer to fully appreciate your wonderful presentation. Thanx again!
This rout is OSL-LGW-JFK and returne, but on the return it stops 6 hours!!! in LGW, so very few taking it from LGW to OSL. They hasent spent much money on advertising the LGW-OSL route either. I am going to FLL, from OSL in 13 days sitting in 8G and J. At the moment 33 seats in Premium are booked. On the returne, on the 27th, only 13 premium seats are booked (Will be sitting in 8A and C) We also traveled with them in June. returning to OSL from FLL it was around 45 persones in Premium. I hope they wil make it, we need a longhaul company in Norway. SAS are of the meaning that Norwegians can fly to Copenhagen or Stockholm, if they want to go longhaul.
I really liked Norwegian long haul. I would fly to Europe in Business on Air France, etc using miles, and then fly back (LGW to SEA) on Norwegian in Premium. Nice product and crew. I really hope that Norse Atlantic makes it (and starts flying BER-SEA). Btw: it is "hej, hej" not "hei, hei". Hej is Hello and hejdå (hay-doe) is goodbye.
Thanks for watching! I assumed as it’s a Norwegian airline with Norwegian crew it is “hei hei”. “Hej” would be Swedish and Danish if I’m not mistaken. Then again I’m no linguist.
@@freddiesflightreviews Drat! You are right. I speak some Swedish and a little Danish and just assumed Norwegian ("Swedish with marbles in your mouth") was the same.
Only 5% occupancy for premium economy?! That sounds concerning. I was close to booking an NYC -> OSL premium economy trip last month but need to renew my passport first.
Dreamliners are some of the best looking aircrafts out there. And this light blue, Scandinavian design, does it justice. Picture perfect. -And what’s this nonsense about «losing money»? Yes, of course, it’s a brand new airline. Just according to their plans.
Having looked at their recent financial reports it is accurate. They are literally losing money: live.euronext.com/en/product/equities/NO0010946445-MERK/company-information#CompanyPressRelease-11917415
I don't think they will survive..I have to go to Paris in July from Orlando(I fly business class on any flight over 4 hours, bad blood circulation) and saw an ad for them...I put in my dates and premium upgrade, seat choice etc and was almost $1,500 from MCO to LGW..plus i will have to buy a flight on easy jet from LGW to CDG,maybe another $300-$400...so round it off to $1,900..I can fly with one of the big carriers for $3,500 with all the bells and whistle including lounge access, all the food and drinks at the airport and on the flight and don't have to worry about missing the connection in case of a delay..Is is worth the saving of $1,600?I don't think so....not for me at least...I also notice their flights are almost empty leaving from The USA..I think they should have a business class section with lay flat seats, good meals on China and unlimited drinks like the regular carriers and even if they charge close to the big carriers, they will do better...
Agreed, I really don’t think they do enough to differentiate themselves. Just following in the footsteps of other low cost Atlantic airlines like Norwegian and Wow air
