@@MrCrimsonftw He usually plays one match and leaves because once people understand his hacks he is easy to beat. I’m so glad he rematched smug and annihilated lol 😂
i went to school with this kid who would beat up your character while you were in the bathroom and then go "haha i'm winning" when you came back, and i can only assume he grew up into this
Diaphone and Broski ran into this guy. I hope this video does well so we can compile evidence and ban these people. Still can’t beat actually GOOD players.
yeah i think he's been around with one name or another for at least a month, and has been exposed by a ton of people.... i know other cheaters were taken down in the past by Capcom, but this guy just skates by somehow.
I love cheaters cause it doesn’t matter how much they cheat they still lose to me ! I m used to cheap and even broken characters so cheaters are no big deal to me !
Just look at the input of this Akuma player when Smug does the double fireball at 8:57. The Akumas input goes from holding back to forward, up-forward, forward (which is probably the reaction of the cheat) and then to back again, cuz the actual player was holding back to block before realizing that their cheat made them dodge the fireball. That on top of the "reactions" with perfect parry and DI is such an easy giveaway for someone not playing legit.
Watching this makes me extremely proud that I finally hit 1600 MR yesterday, legitimately. It took blood, sweat and tears to get there, and at times it felt excruciating. Cheating in competitive games is so insanely lame. That 1900 MR means absolutely nothing.
The journey and the struggle to improve always ends up being the best and most fun part of fighting games. These cheaters are just having fun stroking their egos and not even enjoying playing the game at that point
@@ironhell813 Tbh, SF6 online is really good, not only from a netcode perspective, but also because there's an actual social aspect with Battle Hub and room chats and stuff where you can interact, friend cool people to meet up with in the future, share tech, support, etc I was never big on it either, but SF6 has changed my mind, and helped me get better at this game than any other FG
Fun little thing that happened in this. At 7:03 during the replay section, Smug gets a PC throw on what looks like a random parry attempt. It looks like the cheater might have been trying to do something themself here and there. But actually, Smug hit the LK of his throw a frame earlier than the LP. I think the script tried to PP the LK but got grabbed because of the throw correction. I wonder if you could piano LK LP to force this every time and just PC throw them to death. Would be hilarious to do this since I doubt they would ever figure out why their script kept trying to parry throw
Hmmm. Now. I’m not great at SF6 at all, but there was a cross play Akuma I fought a min ago where he just seemed…TOO good. Like it was UNFAIR. I don’t know if I came up against a cheater or what but I’ll never forget that long set I played against him and how, I STILL haven’t played anyone that…suspiciously good. I’m not one to say “nigga the game is cheating” but…man. Shit felt weird.
If they perfect parried everything, jumped all your fireballs, did a di every time or whiff punished you consistently on things that shouldnt be punished consistantly then its a cheater, otherwise they're just good. Mightve been someone trying to get another character to master and they passed by you on the way or someone who just picked up the game and they're good or if its any of the things in the first sentence, they're cheating
@@ΚρανίΩ I didn’t record any of the footage. Looking back, dude WAS in Master so. I may have just got blown tf up. But. I’ve fought players better than me that didn’t have THIS type of precision. It may have me being outta my depth. I just can’t call it
If I am not mistaken this same Akuma was in a Broski video effectively confirming him cheating. He also fought Ryan Heart and got aired the fuck out by Jinrai kicks lol. Quick edit here too, not only does he pop parry on the same move every time but he holds parry for exactly 5 frames every single time he hits it.
Back in the day was Capcom itself who cheated big time when you played the normal game, mostly the bosses. Now people can do that, what a time to fighting games...
I just posted a comment about old input reading AI. 😂 yeah it seems similar. You bait an almost certain reaction. Mk2 and super turbo were not much different 😅 Props to Smug for the quick, smart adaptation.
@@MarcosVinicius-ge2ry this guy was exposed in another guy's video, (can't remember his name, he's a good Aki main). He checked Akumamatata's history and the total number of hours he played since the game was released. He came out with an average of 4 hours/day. This cheater, played on average for 4 hours every single day, yet he stilp resovled to cheating. So taking that time in consideration, he definitely must've been playing this game perhaps religiously, just like LTG yet he still fails miserably.
The fact that you figured all that out in that short match is incredible . You figured out the three counters , the triggers for each , stopped using the trigger and had enough talent to destroy him with everything else at your disposal. Nice read.
Bro people that cheat in games in general have got to be the sorriest of players. I cant believe there are HUMANS literal HUMANS that wake up to turn on SF and say im gonna cheat today and can go on their day 2 day routine acting like they didnt just rob wins from players that actually get in the lab an practice. Crazy thing is SF has modern controls!! And there're STILL cheaters! Im in disgust for humans sometimes. But that cancel into super was such an icing on the cake though!! Served his sorry ass right! Bless you Smug!
What I don't understand is, they literally gain nothing for it. This isn't for money or a gold medal or something. The only thing you get for winning is pride in being a good player, but what pride is there if you know that you had to cheat? So what do they get out of it?
Nah he should just quit cause if you gotta cheat to win your a straight loser for sure 👍🏿 even if he becomes better at cheating it’s still cheating so he technically still sucks pause
I mean.. I've done 3 perfect parries in a row before and even at the very start of a match and once you get a rhythm going it's not that hard to predict when a fireball is going to get thrown. But the start of the second round and the 100% accurate DIs is what gave it away for me lol. But legitimately, all you'd have to do is figure out what a character's favorite button is, find out the range and then parry whenever you walk into it's max range.
3:15 that's why I stopped caring about rank 😂 mfs are always cheating and lying🤣 what makes them think that shit will get them anything except instant gratification from not actually winning themselves 🤦🏿♂️
The vast majority of players are legitimate, there's no reason to not care about rank besides if it's killing the fun in the game for you. Netcode is good, player base is good (the best play ranked actively), cheaters are a minor nuisance and they get their accounts reset all the time
Well, people used to cheese old arcade fighting games. Fighting hackers might not be that much different. We are back to the 90's. Props to Smug for the quick, smart adaptation.
As someone who has some very basic FGC knowledge, I greatly appreciate how SMUG takes the time to explain what's going on because I honestly wouldn't understand otherwise. Looks like I have a new FGC person to follow!
i see capcom still hasn't been able to fix that emotional issue of quitting... been like what - at least a decade and a half of this shit. at least in the arcades, we could laugh at you as you walked away from the machine.
I've seen other videos of 1 or 2 other RU-vidrs/streamers that dealt with this Akuma player who named themself "Akuma King" at one point but lost when faced Aki cause drive rush under him, or the cheats did something stupid for them and ended up getting punished immediately after
This is exactly why I can’t play online games anymore. You never know who’s real or cheating it’s rampant in most games. Not to mention I bought this game on sale and had about an hour in and they started to put me in intermediate lobbies in battle hub with people who have over 200 hours in the game while I have 2 hours total….
I never understood why some fools cheat in online games, but I'm more than convinced that the majority are actually really bad players that are trying to compensate for their lack of skill but they are actively ruining the fun and experience of others while doing it. Just quit playing online altogether so other legit players don't have to be harassed by your nonsense! 😑
Reminds me of this full grown man child that I know... Ive been playing marvel 3 for over a decade with my custom controls but A friend of mine wont let me change the controls when we play because i destroyed him I was like "fine" so im playing and cant do shit but hes talking MAD SH!T while beating my @ss. One of the most childish things ive ever seen These non-competitors like this guy and the one in the video just need to leave the rest of us out of their ego trips
This is sad !! So many cheaters in FPS games for many years but last couple of days I hear a lot of cheating in SF too.. Another sad thing is, they learn and everyday make better programs to more difficult to expose. I hope game companies will do some serious things about this..
The real question is what makes you think that he doesn't already know your character's moves like the back of his hand I mean all these characters have the same patterns over and over again and has been had the same patterns for decades with very minimal changes if so... I've been playing Street fighter for over 30 years memory reflex is key 🗝️ remembering all the patterns is a skill you attain thru experience...
I think a couple other content creators have pointed this out as well, if you look at akuma's input data. all of his assisted inputs are released on frame 5 every time. I wonder if it has to do with how the script is programmed?
This is one of the reasons why I never do ranked battles since SF4. The cheating is real bad. I’m no where as good as this guy so it turns into me putting my controller down and watching RU-vid while I get my ass kicked.
I wish there was a way to expose these cheaters in the FGC. They would never do that shit if they weren't allowed to use an alias. The fucked up part about it is the guy isn't a terrible player. He knows combos. Why the fuck would you cheat? It just makes you a scrubs.
he doesnt even try to hide it either, honestly doesnt need to with how hard it is to identify that some of these interactions just wouldnt happen against a normal player. if this video wasnt edited in the way it was, i wouldnt have been able to tell when things look suspicious or looked off. 1:52 ANYONE wouldve reacted to at least the 2nd bait with a maybe jump air projectile but he waited for the script or whatever to play for him. once he realized you were just going to bait because you knew he would jump the projectile immediately like before, he air fireballs to make you react and IMMEDIATELY sets up for the dp. hes playing like a bot on arcade machine boss difficulty because the game is literally playing itself for him AND HE STILL sucks major cheeks.
