The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio N Ring is a special car. 108 built to celebrate the lap record set at the nurburgring for the fastest saloon. The alfa romeo giulia quadrifoglio is a car i very much love. The sound, the steering, the acceleration all form an incredible car. the N ring edition brings in a exposed carbon roof, carbon mirrors and front grill as well as a stunning matt grey paint which makes it very distinguishable. I also had a chance to experience what an 850 BHP DBS felt like with a modified exhaust!!

Do you know what size are the rear tyres ? 295 or 285 ?

The Jaguar didn't *really* dethrone the Giulia's record at the Ring. They took the rear seats out and installed a roll-cage on it. That's not apples to apples. That's not even to mention it was a pre-production version of a limited-production car (only ~200 made). Giulia still the fastest production sedan around the Ring in the world.

Yep. It's a joke that they claim the Project 8 beats the QV. That's not a production car, it's a project car. Clue's in the name. And running in 2-seater mode on the N-ring. For sure, the QV is still the real champion of production saloons.

@@irodrigo I agree that it's a 4door coupe however they all still come under the four door production car record held currently by the jag, I just feel like your hating on the jag even tho it is crazy car that definitely deserves respect, saying that only 200 are to be made and that it's therefore a project car isn't true either as 300 will be made not all of course in the 2 seat configuration, but that 2 seat configuration with a cage in the back is a racing package jaguar offer to customers. The car is completely road legal and meets all the necessary regulations for holding the quickest 4 door production car record around the ring. Just so people know I have nothing against the gulia I think it's a fantastic car I just don't understand why people can't see the jag is equally as good of a car but in a different way

@@rhydianwilliams887 I don't remember ever hating on the Jag? It's an utterly great, limited-production, $200,000+ car. It just stops being a sedan when you remove the back seats, whether it's a factory option or not. Those are just facts. Thus, the current Nurburgring record-holder for a full production sedan is still the Giulia QV. All of these cars, Giulia, Jag, Merc, are absolutely awesome. It doesn't really matter which one is a few seconds quicker or slower around the Ring. It's just impressive how the Alfa smashed that record when it came out, being faster than a few McLarens Bugattis, and Paganis, and has been able to hold on to it for a number of years.

@Feed The P0ny I own one, tell me about the problems it's riddled with. So tired of people using anecdotal evidence. It's not a Toyota and BMW the very Brand you drive, is the absolute worst. My GOD man, this is epic, a BMW guy calling an Alfa unreliable. BMW is the KING of building planned obsolescence cars. Hence why 86% of the people driving BMW are all leased cars.

I saw a window sticker that lists what's included with the Nring package and it is basically the unique color and a plaque on the dash. everything else comes with or can be bought as options with any Quad.

I’m all about my M cars but, this Alpha is a refreshing change for the better. I’ll excuse the fact it looks like a Tesla from the rear. Definitely set to be a legendary machine.

Actually I kinda don't get this Nring edition. That color looks beautiful and all but except that, the exposed carbon roof and the numbering it's all 'just' standard maxed giulia quadrifoglio. I kinda feel like they should play with it more. At least put a couple more unique details here and there if not tamper with performance and such. I guess maybe they saving it for that GTA.

Hi Stef, I'm torn by two cars that I'm sure you would have an opinion on both......one is the new facelifted Giulia Quadrifolio in Competizione red and the new facelifted AMG C Class coupe C63s. I should point out I'm an Alfa Nut whose had a string of Italian cars but just wonder if the overall quality of the AMG just pips it....Which one would you choose ?

my guess would be 295/30. You can see that up front the tires are 255 wide, where QV's came with 245's stock.

Thing is a lot of those can be added as options on a standard Giulia QV, but people hardly opt for things like two-tone interior and exposed carbon roof and I wish they did more often so it would be easier to have those features when I buy it 2nd hand. I have specced this car countless times and wished to buy it new but I just don't have the money for it yet.

petemason57 yeah I kinda agree with you. I mean this Alfa IS very nice but I never understood why everyone drooled over this thing when it looks like a BMW 3 series with a different grill. At cars and coffee, same ting...people go nuts over it. Again not knocking it, just doesn’t seem much different than its competitors. Even it’s reliability is questionable...just like the Germans lol.
