They're playing against a coordinated team of good players, they're focusing the main healer first, its pretty basic Overwatch.

@@samuki1992 this isnt the same thing as getting rid of the main healer, he was getting spawn camped, solo ulted and targetted even after going dps (with all of those happening before as well)

@zombieskittlesgaming yeah, I could understand maybe 1 person 1v1 or something but hard camping 3v1 is just ridiculous. And I felt *so bad* for the supports on the other team that I endorsed them because of their teammates throwing so hard. Idk if they were trying to lose rank on purpose but it felt like it. And if that's the case, still shitty

tbh jay doesn't blur out the code so i watched the vod from mercy pov. without any chat, it just looks like she's trying to keep her team up and is mega struggling to do so. she was dmg pocketing the pharah the whole last round where she makes the bad rezes on the sombra and i think the enemy team was taking advantage of her poor rezes to troll the team more. HONESTLY this whole match is just a major team diff and the enemy took the game hostage. happens all the time in metal rank comp. i guess its just more surprising when you see it happen in a tourney

@@antipoetic1223 To be honest it isn't all that surprising it happened in a Faceit tournament, especially if it's one of the smaller tournaments. They did a 5v5 one last weekend (no idea what the rules or rewards were), and only a small handful of teams were signed up. I don't see the faceit system being too great at matching equal teams when there's so few in there.

Yep. Had yesterday a genji was allowed to just run wild on the supports. Nearly got him several times but the fact the dps just sat and watched him do it, then also watch a mercy numerous times fly past them and rez(they were bastion and sojourn) their tank we killed was equally frustrating. Somehow held them to 2 point but when attacking we couldn't even get first. They were allergic to looking at the enemy team directly targeting the supports and them as well once we died. I duno how more obvious it could get.

@@ianchambers37 it’s not an entirely new thing either but seems to have gotten much worse since it launched on Steam. With no tutorial or any kind of education of new players I doubt the game will be worth playing much longer. So bored of playing DPS Moira 90% of games just to stay alive.

For real though, they ignored the objective to grief one player. They should have been penalized.

That's a terrible opinion, playing your enemies mental fortitude is part of eSports. No player should be punished for exploiting weaknesses in a team.

Trying to suger coat this shows you have no respect and clearly a bad player.

@@goddessofchaos2679 His team failed to escort him to his positions, the second support was failing to peel, the tracer wasn't marking the other tracer. The enemy team took those opportunities at every point and decided to take it a step further and kill mental. Any T2 coach worth his salt would approve. Sportsmanship only applies to scrims. In a scrim you treat each other with respect and don't go over board with bullying. All that should be left at the door if you want the best chance at winning. OW is largely a psychological game. It is a weak mindset to expect kindness from your opponents. If you attribute in game actions to a person's character, that says more about you than anything else. I have shook the hands of people I slammed in tourneys. Outside of the game you can be friends, in the game putting your all is respect and sportsmanship. Holding back and not taking advantage of weakness is poor gameplay end of story. If you can shatter a teams mental. That is a good strategy.

I would have reported for sure for griefing, etc. Easily and not felt bad about it especially if the team was hard bullying and focusing this badly.
