This armor wasn't made for kicking! (But we tried 😂)

I've developed many years into learning armor (the real stuff that was used on the battlefield), and yes, a hard shove or solid kick to the chest can knock you on the ground. Humans are naturally top heavy (2 long legs support all your Torso and head, which is half your height) and all the layers of armor you *should* wear under a breastplate (padded jacket, maile, then the plate) just add to how top heavy you are. Yes, getting the guy to the ground was always an option in European battlefields; he couldn't get up easily with you on top of him... and with a large stabby thing in your hands, which is going to get him in the face or something
