A movie I highly recommend: The Gospel According to Matthew (starring a very animated and engaging acting performance by Bruce Marchiano, who plays Jesus). This is a word-for-word adaptation that has a unique take on the body language and charisma of Jesus, and also makes it easier to understand and quicker to read the story. I love how you approach the topic. School should be a fun time, of course some discipline is required, but it shouldn't be depressing or degrading to your creativity. Before you start an avalanche of angry replies, listen, I know reality is often disappointing, but still - we should have the opportunity to be our true selves.

This is a kind of fear I've had my whole life, I've always been a person who behaved differently from most and at the beginning you don't care because you're a child, over the years you realize that neither side changes, you keep going with the way you behave and the others always remain...''normal''. And it starts to affect you because you think it's wrong to behave the way you do because it seems like nobody looks like you, you start getting lonely and you want to change when in the end you don't have to change, the difference is that you're smart or too strong a personality to let yourself be put under the rug, I still struggle to get that into my head.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve thought the same thing. I’m not into gossiping, drinking, or being cool and it’s weird because a lot of people don’t like me for that. The friends I have and the people I talk to are ultimately a lot better but it’s still just weird to know how most people would rather ignore me

I think a great start might be to stop putting these unnecessary label on others and then yourself. You will always have differences from others but also similarities so why hyper focus on one thing you find different about yourself and make it a reason your disconnected to others? Idk if that makes sense but to me this just seems like it's a lot of you giving yourself an internal narrative. People are just people. Most people have personalities that are different than each other.

@@stansmith2188 Maybe you just need to find new friends that won't make you feel bad for having different interests. I have a pair of friends that don't care about those things you don't care about either. Honestly, I think real coolness is the willingness to be yourself, even when people don't understand you.

The crazy thing is how the Firebending form taught by the original Firebending Masters is based off dancing, and now Fire Nation kids don't even know what dancing is. For that, I appreciate the subtle foreshadowing and worldbuilding in the Headband. I need some more backstory on Sozin. Exactly how far gone do you have to be to distort the fundamentals of your own culture that badly? (and actually make them weaker in the long run on top of that). Fire is energy, chi, life itself. As it dances, it grows and changes, and, if kept under control, can give energy and life to everything it touches. Sozin expressed wanting to bring those aspects of the Fire Nation to the rest of the world, but ironically started the Fire Nation down the path of embodying the worst aspects of fire. Also greenlighted mass genocide against a peaceful nation. I, for one, am not voting him back into office.

@@cnsayin8847 eh, it depends really. I was in no position to ever be home-schooled. But I can safely say that if that is what had happened, I would have most likely been happier, and would not have developed anxiety as I have. "regular" school was mental torture for me, and not because of the discipline. "The connections you make" can be just as important as the ones you don't make. Both can be a lesson. I learned that the vast majority of people are braindead, vain, egotistical little scumbags. So, thanks school?

I'm in 8th grade and I've been at my school since Kindergarten, I've never really hated it and I do look forward to most classes. When I hear other people's opinions on school, I'm very grateful that I can't really say the same. We're given a fair amount of freedom for most our assignments but we aren't left in the dark.

There's an episode of Tom and Jerry, called "The Million Dollar Cat, and its message is really good, imo. At the end of the episode, Tom threw away $1M as a result of harming Jerry. But he said "but I'm happy!".

How about a review of the first episodes in ''The Owl house'' when Luz goes to School, but to help her new friend. How the school and even the parenst of the student she tried to help insisted her to study something she didn't have talent for, but at the end, it was decided that she study what she was good at.

To back up what is said from 3:16-3:24, At my homecoming, I am very expressive when it comes to dancing. I just let it all out. I am not very good at dancing(left-handed and left-footed) since I haven't taken any classes. Yet, being very open and unique about being bad at dancing but enjoying it attracted this girl who is now my girlfriend. After being bullied verbally and physically because of my interests, expressionisms, passions, and just who I am, It was through it to continued to be who I am since I found love by being myself. Truly hope that this can happen in someway, somehow for everyone.

How about a review of the Cartoon Network Show ''Ed, Edd n Eddy'' about which kind of people should we use as an example. During all the show, Eddy tried to make money by scams to the other kids in his neighborhood, which ended in the kids hating them. In other topic, it was showed to us that Eddy's brother gave him a lot of tools, but tools for jokes, dirty magazines and even something to cheat the grades at school. And in the movie it was showed that Eddy's personality was the product of him taking a horrible member of his family as an example of how to be.

Great video man. I always stand behind the thought of dancing however you want because its just your body listening to your mind and imagination. Sure there's cooler ways to dance but you don't have necessarily learn it in order to dance. Just get out there and have fun! Even when you're dancing alone.

Given that this takes places in an east asian culture context (after guest teraching some english classes in china 2 summers ago) they don't have just 6 hour days at the fire nation school, but 12-14 hour school days if suggested by Aang coming back after dark on his first school day.

As a kid I would always switch the channel when avatar came on. I thought it was too boring and it kind of confused me. Maybe if I watched it chronologically as a kid I would’ve enjoyed it more, and been less confused. But anyway I watched your video on avatar last month and it made me watch the whole show and I’m so happy I did. It’s genuinely one of the best shows I’ve seen, I can’t believe younger me missed out on a show this great. The video was great btw keep it up :)

Actually, sometimes people act from outside others' view, and they'll express themselves that way. The power of suggestion is greatly underestimated, and has a tendency to make or break the situation at hand, but in all reality it's possible to get others to think with it. I'm evidence of it working, because if my sister didn't speak up to my mother, I wouldn't have been born. She heard a baby crying, and got my Mom to think about having specifically me.
