Not only did Calvin complete the challenge, he made a really fun-looking casual deck too. The playstyle feels like something a character on the show would use. Very easy to imagine the one-off villain laughing maniacally as they activate torrential tribute for their "ultimate play."

I love how Alec is straight to the point. Calvin is literally the pharaoh. He can do any impossible challenge. Well played to Calvin man.

This is literally anime moment. He combine pathetic little critter with 100-200 atk with impossible to summon monsters. And he won. Spectacular too.

I was hoping he'd use a Melffy strategy, as Melffy Catty searches any beasts from your deck opt, nd all 3 monsters he needs happen to be beasts. I just gotta take the time to say a really good job at this content. Usually, with YuGiOh duel videos, I just see people throwing cards all over the place and sometimes not knowing what the card effects even are. You guys actually take the time to explain each card whenever it is being used, making it less confusing for me.

I love this challenge series! Some ideas for future episodes: Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth, Gate Guardian, Yubel the Ultimate Nightmare, Venominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes. Speaking of Venominaga, another challenge series you can do is to win using an alternate win condition - winning by battle or deckout would fail the challenge. And if you guys are feeling even crazier, defeat your opponent while utilizing a card(s) whose effect only benefits the opponent, such as An Unfortunate Report.

I want to see him attempt to summon Sophia, Goddess of Rebirth. That card has absurd conditions, it only has 3600 ATK, and its only effect is a single time board wipe. It has no protection, except that its summon can't be negated.

I'm going to start building these challenge decks you guys are using. Those decks seems so fun!

I was into deck building at one point. But once people realized how potent my Magic Jund deck was, nobody wanted to trade their Dragonspeaker Shamans.

Dogshit cards. But they're Nostalgic!! I remember when the movie came out, they gave these cards out alongside the Blue Eyes Shining Dragon. Man... Good times 😂

Theinen is a great fodder card for decks centered around Beast-eyes Pendulum Dragon, btw. It's one of the highest-powered Beast-type monsters, thus using it to summon it guarantees a lot of bang for your buck when you hit with Beast-eyes' monster effect. 3500 damage every time you destroy a monster is nothing to sneeze at. And it's effect damage, which people are usually not as well-equipped to deal with. Battle damage is by far more common than effect damage as a strategy, I think mill strategies are even more common than burn.

This my favorite card game. I've loved yu-gi-oh since the original anime came out, but I never got into collecting the cards(none of my friends liked it) and had to deal with crappy yu-gi-oh video games until duel links, to get my fix. It would be awesome to see you guys play one house tournament with everyone using their favorite competitive deck. I've never watched any tournaments or know what's meta, and yes I could just find a tournament to watch on youtube, but card tournaments tend to be pretty boring even if you like the game. I'd much rather watch you guys go all out against each other. SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT!!!

Here's a challenge for you: Synchro Summon "Shooting Quasar Dragon" the way Yusei did (with "Life Stream Dragon" and four Signer Dragons each at Level 1).

I kind of wish that Anubis had actually gotten a full archetype in the movie. It'd be cool if his monsters were modeled after the jackal army from the Mummy since he seems to pull inspiration from said movie.

Fun fact. When I was 6 years old, Sphinx Teleia scarred me when she attacked Celtic Guardian, that I stopped playing Yugioh until the 5Ds era. Funny thing, I picked the game back up when the 5Ds era was beginning.
