I have one identical to this but bone stock, take it from me, they are worth every penny, and go for the pre facelift for better value, nearing 15k for the exact same car, just different front and rear lights and bumpers.
This is probably one with a huge milage. Ive looked used ones in germany on mobile.de from 2014-2016 and the cheapest ones are around 35,000€ (31000 pounds) with under 100,000 km (60,000 miles). They depriciate alot but not 90% in 6 years.
Electro CSGO s1 for 35k? That’s still over priced for an S1 imo, could have easily spent like 5-7k more and got a decent RS3. But to each their own tbh
I had a 2005 D3 6.0 W12. The one Statham had in Transporter 2. Totally standard, 444bhp and 580nm torque. It was a beast. Love me a big 8. Forever looking at them Autotrader. Talking of the depreciation, mine was 80k new. 18 months old and 9200 miles, it was worth 32k. I bought it at 49k miles and 11 years old. Paid 12.5k 😂 Alot of luxury and power for the money. Best car I've ever owned. Keep up the good work Jamie 👍

I had a 2007 A8L and it was sweet. I am having withdrawal symptoms even with BMW 740 but the MB S550 is helping me adjust. Kurt, I feel your pain! First, even knowing my mechanic drives it makes me uneasy plus Jamie is a BOSS DRIVER! His manual shifting skills is sick! Imagine what it must be like next to Lewis Hamilton?
Driver clearly scared of his own car as didn't stay on the power for long and his face was shocked when Jamie was driving. Must take some real getting used to though and as he said only had it a month or so. You would be sick if you bought that new with 85k depreciation.

One of those bargain 'sports' cars you can get. You'd be surprised for what they are worth. I'd only worry about repair costs for the engine and fancy toys

That thing sounds amazing bro. I'm a 25yo from shropshire with a 2014 S8 as well. Near identical to this one, but stock (for now). I am going for a full stage 2 system on mine, expectations of 720bhp +. So when I get it done, you need to come and see it and between us, we will get a few modded S8s together. I know a few owners and then this one, get them together and compare them all against each other. I think that will be mad.
@@dirtyweesyds I wouldn't do that personally. Better to replace a shaft vs whole gearbox. I have one stage 2. 680hp no problems with shafts from launching yet.

Word of advice, if you ever need to Jack up the car for say change a tire. Don’t forget to put the system in jack mode! If not the system will endlessly try to compensate it and blow out itself.

I was looking pretty hard at the Merc E550, the BMW 550i and the B7 Alpina but after looking into all of them I’m pretty well convinced that the S8 D4 is the car I really want. I want an executive cruiser but with power and I can’t help but come to the conclusion that the S8 is by far the best driving experience. And considering the tuning ability, the all wheel drive system and the suspension there is really little doubt that it’s an incredible car. Especially if you want to put kids or a dog or mates in the back.
Even the stock D4 "Non Plus" version builds speed deceptively rapidly. It is a very addictive rush every time you put your foot to the floor. Wolf in a tux!!!
Seems like such a nice guy, genuinely enjoys his car and it makes him smile which is how it should be, obviously paired with Jamie’s usual positive personality. 23, same age as me and bought a £20k car, can’t help but think what am I doing wrong 😂

Such a nice car, power when needed and comfortable for when your cruising. I was straight on autotrader after watching this, there's a silver one on there with 66k for £21,495!! Absolute bargain if you ask me
Yeah man that's the thing these are going for a real bargain for what they were worth. I keep saying this though I might be wrong but parts might not be cheap if something went wrong with it.

I'm on my second S8 (2016) . I have to say so far iv had no issues mechanically etc, at the same I have a independent warranty which covers all the main parts which cost me £600 per year. My S8 is a stage 2 running just under 720bhp. Power with virtually every conceivable extra, even rear electric heated, cooled & massage seats 🙂 What more could you want .Great video & great cars.

I've had the D2 S8, the D3 S8 and I currently have the D4 S8 Plus. I just cannot move to any other car. I just love my S8 😍 After watching this, I'm thinking of straight pipes 🤔 The problem with owning an S8 is that you don't want to get out, unless you need to refuel it.
Just do electronic cutouts right before the mufflers. You can program the open and close function to the 2 extra garage opener buttons. This way you get to choose between the 2 on demand.
This car has the luxury look inside and awesome power and definitely a great find and especially as its cheaper to insure then the S3 definitely a win win.
