yeah, both players had problems with creative thinking. Lizard brain made him gather everything, just like protoss continuing building probes during all this. Pure reflex.
In their 8th episode harambo raises the question "Who are the Noobs?" once again. This time with a new deeply philosophical twist: Is perhaps the detective himself the noob? Uploading in 360p is certainly a strong argument in favor. XD
I'd love to see an episode where you're both Cheerleaders. You have to talk up one of the players and justify everything he does as an insane 5D chess move.
This would actually be highly entertaining. Mindless arguments of undying support are so entertaining to hear, especially when the actual player being supported isn't making the greatest decisions haha
Fun fact The Liberator is the highest anti ground DPS unit in the entire game with 72DPS at +3, although that does have a tendency to overkill so real DPS is a few points lower, with the next highest being the thor, particularly at +3 because it's attacks hit twice. In CoOp, novas raid liberators have 72 DPS base, and raise to 90DPS at +3, with less overkill problems due to you fighting hybrid and the like. However, mengsks thor, at +3, actually bests novas raid liberator at +3 by about 2 DPS, although is worse when both are +2, making it the highest non hero DPS in the game, excepting possibly a stimed aegis guard versus armoured, not included splash damage.
17:13 --> They both guess around 5k? Those players cannot be so high! With so little control and decision making, this must be lower? Maybe ... 3200? 3300? EDIT: WOW, They were actually super high, now i am absolutely flabbergasted! :) EDIT 2: I was not dead on today :D I was so sure this was diamond 3 or diamond 2 at best :D
Having played one of these guys (who was drunk and trolling) in a 2v2, my friend and I (both diamond) were absolutely destroyed. Easy to critique mistakes in a crazy base trade video, but the skill level is wayyyyyyy above diamond.
I'm surprised Harstem was flaming the toss for playing 2 gate robo cause I was watching Showtime's stream the other day and he was explaining that he'd react exactly like this to 1-1-1 bo's
This is not a typical 1-1-1 timing attack. This was a Thor rush all in. Reason you do not want 2 robos that early on is you cannot afford enough production from 2 robos + X gateways on two bases. The immortals were pretty much useless after the initial break, man just needed blink and about 15 stalkers to shut the whole thing down. 4 gateway blink or early starport for phoenix is much better response than 2 robos. As you noticed the real heroes were the eventual archons and stalker's when they got blink. The only robo unit that saved him was the warp prism.
That is insane, there is no way a low 3k mmr player could execute build orders this well. Either build order from one of the players is just a default win at that level. The micro was far from perfect but also far beyond what 3k players do.
Zerg player here: what should you spend your money on instead if you don't get a second gateway? As long as you aren't stopping worker production and your warpgate is on time what is the downside?
I just know starcraft from watching it (got overwhelmed when I tried it) but I think its cause you wont be able to produce anything from it until warp gate finishes, so maybe you just save up and get a tech structure 150 minerals sooner?
my alternative composition would have destroyed this terran contain. immortal, collossus, phoenix. Cannons to cover for lack of mobility and because the comp gives extra minerals.
Omg it's joetLesan. Going for colossus against a thor allin is about the worst thing you can do, same for phoenix. Only suggestions worse than this would be making carrier, tempest or mothership.
