Wow, Christine I have followed you since 2012, and I remember your makeup collection in your old bathroom in Maui, I can’t believe how far you have come, well done pretty lady 🩷
You were the first RU-vidr I saw that decluttered products that didn’t work for you no matter the cost. It was amazing to me and helped me change my mindset. It’s neat to see how you have been able to continue on your journey. This was a fun video!
I about died when you showed the inventory list and said it was from 2012, because I remember watching the video when you made that. I can’t believe it’s been that long ago.
I remember you had all those samples that was quite the stash. I remember when you had all that makeup it was beautiful and a beautiful collection but there was no way any human could use all that makeup. I often thought wow if she had the money for all that makeup she bought... But we change over the years I spent plenty of money on things I didn't get my money's worth out of. And I just don't buy like I used to live and learn.
This was great, Christine. I love it when you do clean-outs or you're just plain cleaning your home and rearranging things. It is always an incentive for me. ]
I found you more recently. Last night I was watching your original decluttering, this morning this video (as I cleaned out a shelf in my bathroom). I have to tell you how inspired I am by you! Seeing where you began and where you are now gives me hope for myself, makes me feel like I can achieve simplicity, too. Thanks so much for your example! Thanks for letting us watch your progress over the years!
Loved it. I already decluttered a lot and I am doing a low/no spend challenge. I would love to get to the point where I only have 1 shampoo bar 1 conditioner bar 1 shower gel/soap 1 safety razor 1 oil for moisturising 1 toothpaste 1 floss 2 hairbrushes (1 flat, 1 round) and maybe a couple other things. All of them vegan and as sustainable as possible (if it can all be zero waste, so be it) I am on a good path to achieve that. When I see other people who have almost nothing in their bathrooms that brings me so much peace... Thank you so much for showing us this. What a change!! It motivates me to work more on my minimalism journey.
Where have u been. Ive followed u in the desert, makeup stuff, white fluffy stuff. So pleased to see you again. How is Michael he was quite ill when I caught a video last
I remember years ago watching one of your makeup declutter videos and you had over 100 lipsticks, and you did an inventory video where you said you goal was about 30 but it would be a challenge to get there etc - i couldn't believe it when i saw 0 on your inventory now! I love your simple minimal collection now :) x
Is that the same Agouti? I love watching how you care for her. You inspire me with your videos of what you eat in a day, and your decluttering. I'm loving all the space your clothes have in the closet and now organizing all your toiletries.
Hi Christine! Your last two decluttering videos are hitting me in the right spot at the right time. Thank you! If there is any chance you happen to need to organize your indoor gardening supplies, I’d love to see that! Have a wonderful day! Appreciate all you do!
Decluttering is good for the soul. When I struggle to let things go, I make a rule to just find 5 things to declutter. It's not a lot, but it's a start. Sometimes, that spurs me on to do more.
Can you please do a video of all the body/skin makeup products you do like and use now. I love your recommendations and I’m always looking for more cruelty free natural products. ❤❤ thank you
It's chilly here in the midwest so I'm getting cozy on the couch with my blanket watching your declutter videos. They're so relaxing, I may fall asleep but I'll watch it again when I wake up. I'm long overdue for my spring clearup before fall/winter. Thank you Christine, you make the best videos.
Oh good- a Christine video'. And I'm decluttering my closet as I watch. I have found clothes with tags that no longer fit ( lost weight ) so my donation pile grows. This inspired me to include my makeup and bags and bathroom essentials next. Who says spring cleaning when autumn elimination is fun! Thank you so much! It makes my day when you post!!!! 😊☺️❤️🥰🌴☀️🦩❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰
My problem is always duplicates!! I had to learn that there will always be a new product that will do the job you don't need to stock up on one brand cuz then they expire before you use them. Plus having more duplicates than I ever would use. I had 30 hair ties at one point and had 3 favorite ones that I cherished and would never lose.
I remember the inventory list! and i've never seen so much makeup and nail polish. You've come a long way. This video was so good. Loved it and we need more.
I just got done decluttering my bathroom Now I can sit down relax and watch your video yay🎉... I no longer ask the question do I want this I asked the question am I using this. And if the answer is no then I really scrutinize whether I want to keep it.
This declutterring was so fun! I think you're the reason I first bought Zoya nail polish remover, which I still use. I agree about needing less as you get older!
I remember the video where you decluttered the 99 bottles of nail polish down to, I think, 5. I was so impressed and it was one of my favorites. My clutter is lipsticks. I have a color in my head that I want and they never are quite right especially if I buy on line. My other is nail products. My nails are super thin and brittle and I try every nail hardener, etc., but none work. You've given me the incentive to tackle that stuff today. Thank you.
Thank you for another helpful and motivating video on decluttering! My friend and I are doing the 30-Day Declutter Challenge that you posted maybe almost two years ago. This is our second time doing it and it is so very freeing and fun too!
Christine, I just love these videos. Please keep sharing, I would literally watch you declutter anything 😅❤ thanks for keeping it real, i need to go through my bathroom cabinets now 🫠
This was a nice and calm video. To see your list of how far you have come. It’s nice. I have started to purge my makeup, skincare and hair and body care collection. It’s funny how as you get older and find a simple routine that works for you is great feeling.
You’ve really inspired me to de-clutter. Christine, could you please include your thoughts on your water pick. Are they easy to use and worth purchasing? Thank you
So refreshing to see less products. I agree with the less is more even in the bathroom. Look at the chemicals we are not ingesting through our skin. Our population is using so many toxic products and then wonder why they feel crappy or have a bunch of skin breakouts. Thanks for the simplicity. As a home organizer, it kills me when we have to throw out so many products that could have stayed on the shelf at the store. So much waste
Thank you for this highly motivating video, Christine. I would love to see a decluttering of crafting supplies, if that is relevant at all for you. I love your inventory system. Thank you for sharing your process and ideas.❤
Looks great!!!! I need to do the same thing in my bathroom. U make it look so easy, i always want to just keep everything. I did go through my clothes about a year ago, donated about 22 Big Bags to goodwill. The FEELING when u finish is Amazing!!!!! ❤ yes ... i want to see more. 😊 Marisa (from SANTA CRUZ,ca)
I'm so glad to see this video. I was hoping you would do a current one. I have been rewatching your decluttering videos from 2012. I've been watching you since then. I still love these videos for inspiration. When decluttering, I get overwhelmed because I try to finish too much in one sitting. Any tips on decluttering in small sections at a time? Maybe you could do a video of how to declutter without getting overwhelmed and tackling too much in one sitting.
FANTASTIC video Christine, and you have inspired me to de clutter my Bathroom cupboard too, I have way too many night creams and tons of nail polish I need to de clutter and make more space in my Bathroom cupboard haha, thanks so much for sharing and sending you lots of love and happiness and CRYSTAL and PLANT POWER from across the Emerald Isle XXXX
What brand is the body wash you kept that you both use? Where do you take items you’re no longer keeping? Do you sell, regift, donate…? PS-Love the decluttering feeling-totally understand about the invigorating weight off the shoulder feeling! We’ve been watching you for years on RU-vid and barely missed you at your booth in Maui-but we did get to meet Michael! ❤
Hola Christine!!!, so happy you posted such a video. I am decluttering little by little since two weeks😊. The worst are all my papers ( documents, invoices...).. I don't know how I can begin. I always say toe: " tomorrow, tomorrow"😅. Anyways...another inspirational video from Christine... Thank you for your time. Sending you lots of love 💕💕
Have been following You for years now, ever since Your Foxy days & I am so inspired still. First switching Your beauty products to natural and then minimizing them to the bare minimum. I use natural beauty products too, but I was so used to repurchase everything once it ran out (or even before) that my overall "stash" never changed. For the last 6 months or so I never did, because I knew I'd be moving at some stage and now I am asking myself what I want to repurchase now. Turns out barely anything at all! I need to make stock cards too, once again taking inspiration from You :)
I've been a subscriber since around 2015 and you growth is just so beautiful to witness. Helped me with my own minimalist/decluttering journey. Thank you for the inspiration always
I think nearly every day I look at my makeup and think I need less but I’m a bit stuck. I’m not on tiktok but I see stuff on IG every now and then I want to try. Been wanting for years the hourglass ambient lighting edit and I finally got it this year. Torn between not wanting it bc it’s a bit extreme of a price tag but it’s pretty nice and would replace several other items. Not in cost but in space, etc. hope you find a lipstick you like. I just have a lip liner I love and sometimes I’ll dab a little of my blush on my lips w that and my balm since lipstick comes off so quickly anyway 😂. Keep us posted!
I've noticed you use Carefree pads, don't you worry about bleached cotton and all other chemicals in them? Now, there are so many natural products for female hygiene like reusable pads, menstrual cups etc. Can you make a video about chemical free options for period? Did you hear about the model that is spreading warning about tampons because she almost died and lost her legs of toxic shock?
Hi Christine been following you since your fairy lights on the bed days in Hawaii!! Why aren’t you buying candies any longer. I love mine but also the cost is crazy!
I loved this video and I am curious about so many things! I wonder how your under eyes are so bright without a concealer, I always assumed a brightening concealer was in your routine 😮 Also I didn't see a curling iron but your hair is always so nicely curled! Do you use your straightener? I've never been able to try curling my hair with a straightener because I have a wider one that wouldn't work. Iwould love to see an updated beauty/ selfcare routine one day if possible ❤
I will search through your videos to see if you have one, but if not, i would like to see your skincare routine or the makeup you use! Im a very minimal makeup user but dont do any skin care because i dont want to spend money on something that does not work or is bad for my skin
I started using my bentonite clay to brush my teeth. It whitens an polishes without being abrasive. You might want to try it before getting fid of yours. Also, things like shea butter are best stored in the freezer so they don’t go rancid, especially since you live in the desert. I have a garage fridge and store all my nuts, seeds, oils, and coconut milk in the fridge or freezer so the things I buy aren’t wasted because they go rancid.
Hey Christine, is that The Agouti? Is she expecting baby Agoodles? :) Reminds me of "Dinosaur" (feral chicken eating tortillas) and her babies. My husband and I are fellow softies, feeding everything outside. Also, I use Dr. Bronners Tea Tree soap with a sprinkle of baking soda as a cleanser and exfoliate. Have you tried it? Good ingredients and cheap. And like you, I use aloe filets (from my aloe plants) on my face and brows. I sure wish you could use affiliate links for beauty products and colors in your videos because I trust you and it would save me a lot of time trying to find things to experiment (but maybe you don't want to mess with it). Anyway, it's amazing to me how much you've whittled down your daily makeup products and routine and you look much prettier now than you did when you were younger. It's a softer, natural look. Maybe less really is more? Okay, love ya girl.
What do you do with all the beauty products thst you no longer want? I hate to throw items like these out but Goodwill wont take these- any suggestions?
I’m getting the major decluttering bug and after following you for seriously 10+ years your channel was the first one I looked for. And here you are already ahead of me😂👏🏼🤍 These are my favorite videos! Thanks for sharing!
