My hair reduced falling after I did these things. I used homemade hair masks like avocado and yogurt. I avoided brushing my hair when it was wet to stop it from breakage. Once a week, I rubbed my scalp with hair oil. I washed my hair 1-2 times a week with liitlexttra coconinon shampoo.

Earlier, my hair used to fall when combing post-application of oil. But after applying this liitlllextra cooconnion oil, I see reduced hair on my comb. Now less hair falls after shampooing. But anticipating positive results after one month or so. Since at least 60% of my hair fall is controlled.

Thank you Dr Gray. I use Rosemary water, I make myself, also Rosemary oil and put onion, coffee and black rice water mixture on my scalp and hair. I suffered from hair loss on my crown for over ten years and I can say, it is nearly 6 months now. My hair is growing back it is very fine at the moment. I massage my scalp daily to get the blood flowing to my scalp and it has definitely made an improvement.

I see many black ladies recommending it because it has worked for them. Some are using cloves with the rosemary and some don't. One lady mentioned that her hairdresser always sprayed some kind of herbal water on her clients hair. Can't remember which one it was. I don't think so many ladies would recommend it if there was nothing to show it works. I found a shampoo with rosemary added to it. Thanks for sharing your recipe - the additional coffee added may also be good - that makes some sense.

For those interested - I have been using The Ordinary’s Multi Peptide Serum for Hair Density for the past 9 weeks. I take about five minutes every night to apply it liberally and massage it in. The new growth may just be from my now daily scalp massage, but I also lose significantly less hair than I used to when I shampoo. It’s a fairly affordable option and definitely worth a try.

I think I've seen one short on this from Dr. Somji Skin (UK). He said it was good for hair growth but not hair loss. Dr. Mark (@dermarkologist) said he was testing it but hadn't come to any conclusion since he was using other products as well. Otherwise the only other channel that focuses on hair who's talked about this is Abbey Yung.

Someone needs to do a study comparing massaging your scalp with an oil, versus massaging without oil. From personal experience, I saw great hair growth and density results from just massaging my scalp with my fingers nightly for 5mins, no oils applied. I have a theory that massaging scalp helps with blood circulation, especially when you wear tight buns/ponytails.

It possibly does, but there's also the side that massaging the scalp with oil will improve circulation a step up from without because of the warmth it traps. I've even heard at least one cosmetic formulater saying to avoid using pure oil during the day since it can cause too much heat or possibly burn the skin, especially in sunlight ~In my religion there's a practice of massaging with oil so I'm going to be enjoying it either way~ 😅

I think people would rather use something natural like rosemary oil, because it is available and natural. Not everybody can afford go to doctor and if the doctor is free, not all of the doctors will give you medication. Also there is a long list of side effects with medication, so the ready to buy and more safe to use product is always more appealing option
@NationalHooeyLeague

The 'available' aspect is key. But you should know 'natural' means nothing. Natural substances can be beneficial, useless or actively harmful same as a manufactured product. And natural never means it will have less side effects. They have equal chances of having side effects, if not more in some cases.

All you coming for maryamramay7785 in the comments … a literal medical professional is telling you they wouldn't, personally, use these drugs because of the negative health risks the side-effects pose (hormones ESPECIALLY!). That’s like a car salesman telling you he wouldn’t buy a car from his dealership because most of them are lemons. So, really, the ignorance lies with you, not maryamramay7785. Nothing they said is untrue, it's just not what you want to hear. I'd argue that's as compassionate as one can GET because they’re giving you free medical information NO ONE else has the INCENTIVE to give you - not Google, certainly not hair loss product companies, not even your dermatologist. It’s a FACT there are potential side effects. It’s also a FACT that these drugs have NOT been studied long enough to truly conclude that their effects on your overall health won’t be negative long-term. That kind of science takes time - the one thing desperate consumers have 0 of and everyone else is happy to take advantage of that. I was lucky enough to recover from a life-threatening illness and now, years later, I am experiencing significant hair loss, so trust me, I understand your pain VERY clearly with every shower. Being on the other side of that illness, though, I can definitively say what's more valuable to me and it’s not the hair. That’s not to invalidate your struggle because I have the same one, but I wouldn’t call an unsolicited honest opinion from an expert ignorant, you're mad at the wrong person/thing.

I have paid for an ALCAT test so I now know my sensitivity to over 474 items of foods, herbs, additives, molds and antibiotic to name a few. The higher the sensitivity to an item the more inflammation in the body which also can affect the hair follicles. Stress management is also a plus.

I don’t know how I didn’t notice it because it’s rather large. I guess because my hair is so thick. I’m scared and made an appointment for Tuesday with my doctor but I made this comment to let everyone know that I have been taking melatonin orally for years to help me sleep and yet I still found a very large totally bald spot on my head. I do take a high dose of melatonin nightly 20mg and sometimes too much of something can make it bad but I been taking it for over four years and just now have a big bald spot. I don’t know about hair loss but I know how to prevent premature hair graying. You should take magnesium supplements. Most of people are deficient in it, since it is very hard to get it form diet. One symptom of magnesium deficiency is grey hair. I got 8 grey hairs when I was severely deficient at age 23. Abut hair loss if it is androgenic alopecia, then you should reduce sugar and breads/pasta, starch turns into sugar when consumed. High sugar diets cause higher male type hormones - androgens in woman’s body. A good way to reduce sugar absorption from diet, is eating food in this order: Vegetables -> protein and fats -> carbs -> fruit/ sugars Also eat fiber before every meal. Like a carrot.

I saw a dermatologist and got a hair biopsy and blood tests. Turns out I have androgenic alopecia or female pattern hair loss. But I wasn't willing to take internal hormone regulators or get on the contraceptive pill. If its internal it's a no go for me. No messing with hormones and getting mood swings, weight gain, anxiety and all sorts. I tried minoxidil for a while. I dropped it as it would only work for as long as I used it and it's costly. Back to drawing board it was. I ended up creating a hair oil mix of drops of saw palmetto tincture a drop of rosemary essential oil to a pumpkin seed oil base, and applied it twice weekly for an hour. I saw minimal results after having used it for 4 years. That said, I haven't seen new hair loss or further miniaturing ever since. A month ago I bought an electric scalp massager. Used that couple of times a week and my scalp is full of what feels like stubble. Too soon to tell bit I'm surprised massaging has had a positive effect on new hair growth.

@@adk4419 I've had good results, lots of new growth just by using the shampoo brush-type massager. I take two of them (Very firm ones), press down somewhat hard* and push them together for a pinching effect, and also push them in opposite directions to stretch the scalp. The scalp must be loosened to allow the blood to circulate freely (the opposite effect of "white knuckles"). And the massage action obviously brings blood to the scalp. Aim for twice a day, 3-5 minutes each, every day. It's part of my routine in the morning. I"m trying to remember to do it at night too. But my hair's growing faster than ever, and a Lot of hair about three inches long, (they are not just "baby hairs" that only grow a half inch then fall out) which corresponds to about how long I've been doing this, about 8 months. Maybe longer, not sure. But I know my hair used to grow Much slower. Seemed like 2 inches a year lol. I press hard to Move the scalp instead of pulling my hair. I Don't use the shampoo brushes to shampoo my hair either. Seems like when my scalp is soaked the hair pulls out easier. I also part my hair so most of it goes with the growth pattern. I find combing it the other way also pulls hair out.

Thank you for this video. With limited success (but great potential), I used onion juice to regrow and thicken my hair, plus return some grey hair to their original color while red onions were in season; months later I tried rosemary oil. After using rosemary oil for a couple weeks, I can feel fine, little hairs growing on my crown (which previously was as bare as my eyeball) and color returned to what little grey I had left. I recently found this video, so I'm going to try topical melatonin when the rosemary oil runs out. My sister experienced wonderful results with a shampoo called 'Mane & Tail,' a product used for grooming horses that's not available where I live. I'm not interested in minoxidil, because all the new hair that grew due to the product's use is lost when treatment is stopped. Like anabolic steroids, you have to keep using the product to maintain any gains. You and your work are appreciated!

I was experiencing a combination of androgenic alopecia as well as Telogen effluvium post Covid. I initially started with rosemary oil but noticed the fallout stage rapidly increasing & more prominent thinning. I then opted for 5% minoxidil layering on some 0.25% tret gel first followed by the minoxidil & have had great hair growth success in iust 4 months & will continue with this routine perhaps dropping it to a few times a week as opposed to every day in about another 4 months or so. One thing I wasn't expecting was hair growth in unwanted places. Due to the majority of my thinning being my temples & hairline some of the minoxidil solution I applied to those areas discreetly seeped down along my face where it meets my ears. I discovered not only did I grow blonde sideburns but my ear lobes grew what looked to be a blonde beard. I couldn't believe it! So a word of warning to be more vigilant when using minoxidil because it's quite effective!

Toupees and wigs for some of us who don't want to spend money on expensive treatments for life or nothing has worked. They come in arrayed styles and colors 😊.

Honestly, all the damn hair treatments are so expensive and painstaking and don't work. Toppers and wigs are a great idea!

Rosemary oil works must be organic and buy your local organic store Also make sure to vitamin check yourself and take the missing vitamins specially Zin and D3 with K2. Reduce stress and sleep enough I usually take 1 tablet of Vegan Multivan and 1 D3 with K2 I also use the microneedling pen once a month 0.75 or twice a month if needed. This helps if you are start loosing or receding Be patient and consistent I like to do it in an natural way.
