It has been out for a while this bike and was used at the previous Olympics. May eat my own words here but I think it would have been banned already

Bikes must now be approved before they're races in UCI events. The Olympics can make their own decision but they would go against precident with equipment

@@veganpotterthevegan Uh, they need to follow certain measurements in terms of where the handlebars are relative to the seat, etc., but bikes used in UCI events are expected to be made available to the public for purchase.

@Flashback_Jack don't read too well do you? Frames and wheels also need actual approval from the UCI regardless of cockpit layout. They measure bikes at races on top of the frames/wheels needing UCI approval.

It has won its fair share of events over the last Olympics but it’s safe to say it hasn’t been a game changer like the original lotus bike
