@@annrose8469 It's not so much about hating whites, it's about taking the proper precautions to prevent what has happened to Africa and Africans over the past 400/500 years from ever happening again. We're too quick to forgive and forget. The Chinese have never forgiven or forgotten about what they call the Century of Humiliation and look at where they are today? Helen and Ali Salahuddin did this for decades to Ghana and KMT through African Genesis Institute with a council of elders, and Brother Ali recently transitioned. My son took the journey to KMT with them at age 13 and has traveled the continent every since. Continued success to Birthright Africa!

African children born in the west? You don’t have family in Africa you can send your child to? And how many times have you looked at the people who have been scattered by slavery and scorned them, and now you are looking for a free trip? Ask your African economic migrant community to sponsor your child. Furthermore I am certain that if we were to receive reparations for slavery you would also beg for some of that money too! I will not forget how you Africans have treated us in the west until every scattered child of Jacob is redeemed from their enemies. You all need to check yourself!

Most present day Ghanaians migrated from Sudan. The sister is really in the midst of her people.
@koonimo4609
@koonimo4609 3 года назад
Yeah, it's true some migrated through Sudan. If you are a Ga, during the Homowor Festival, there's a particular dance session done by shuffling from foot to foot, balancing the shoulders from left to right, known as 'Ash Kpaah. With a matching song the lyrics of which is a narration of their various stopover stations from Egypt, Israel, and Sudin aka Sudan, through Sumangura, and the Ghana Empire. That's why Kwame Nkrumah and the founding fathers renamed the Gold Coast to Ghana. Now the meaning of 'Su' is earth, dust, and 'Din' is black or dark. And if you see most of the people in that region, they are of a darker in complexion. So you could be one of the seeds they planted wherever they stopped over. Welcome home. PS. Wow! I just finished my comment when I had not heard everything to the end. As I was trying to listen to the end, Boom! you brought in your connection to the Ga tribe by your name. Amazing. So I just edited..

THANK YOU Tim Swain for this terrific interview! I've liked and I've subscribed. ANYTHING African related is of interest to me. I've been interested in and researching Rwanda, Ghana, Botswana, Tanzania and now Namibia as possible countries to relocate to after visiting them. My son went to Cape Town and Johannesburg two years ago and LOVED it, so I hope that my continued efforts to get him to also relocate to the African continent will be successful. I have a fellow New Yorker friend that retired from the MTA and moved to Ghana and is now living like he and his wife had never lived in NYC, like a King and a Queen on their own compound with a large main house and two additional buildings. I might not achieve that or have the good fortune, but that's alright as I'd be living in the country of my choosing where the citizens, leadership, police, and everyone else looks like ME. I can't wait to get the eff out of this evil hateful country (the United States) that's NOT our country and I NEVER say "our country" as it ISN'T and never will be. I can't wait to get to Africa....

Africans all over the world should view themselves as one dynamic social ecosystem of people, cultures, believes and attitudes that could be harnessed toward the development of all. Any positive perception of Africa and Africans stands to resonate and reflect on the image of the continent and its people the world over.

Great concept, but the conversation re. office politics detracted from the most important idea that brought me to this video. I was in Ghana a couple years ago, and experienced all the history, culture and warmth you showed and spoke of... js It is my desire and intention to return to West Africa. I see it as our generations last best hope to work/build our way out of our current condition.

Fortunately, our ancestors were already here before the Europeans invaded. Historical truth is never the result of historical falsehood, only deception.

This is great for the Black youth of developed countries but how does this benefit the local Black Community?

Jude,what are you expecting from other youths,if you are expecting hand outs you need to change your mentality, if you can see opportunities ,then you may find business partners,or collaboraters, the most important thing is honesty and clarity in such relationships.as if not careful optimism can be damaged by selfish interest.
