The reason the RBI wins is because of the time era from where it’s from. I would say that killer Kong and Toki are crazier boxes, but back then all the boxes where crazy. It’s a special kind of bad when you are still as bad as that RBI box was during the ps4 generation where other boxes from the generation are at least decent.

Fun fact: Pac-Man 2’s box art is actually a 2-parter based on your region! If you live in PAL regions, Pac-Man’s about to take off with the hang glider, and in the NTSC regions he’s already taking off while screaming in the process.

In the 70s and 80s anyone could make a game and burn it onto a floppy or cassette (yes you read that, cassette) and then get their friend with the minimal amount of art skill to draw a cover, thats where some of these come from.

Yeah, that's like the "Greatest Hits" version. It says "Konami's Best - Play it!" at the top. Kinda like how for PS1 games they'd turn the black label green, or Gamecube games had a yellow "Player's Choice" thing under the main Gamecube banner, but... y'know, way worse.
