That's a fine shade of brown! I rarely see brown cars but this brown is nice! Looks great, inside and out!! There's also another nice and rare colour for the Stelvio, the Visconti Green (or Verde Visconti!)!
Yeah, green choices are very limited nowadays, just like the brown ones! We only see light greens now (from Porsche, Lamborghini, even from Mitsubishi in the new Mirage!)! Only survivor is the British Racing Green of Mini! Choices, car companies, please!! I don't know if it's available in the US (I'm not from the US either!), so go and ask for this colour!! But here are the Italian configurator choices! You can specify the light wood veneer with the chocolate leather! And you'll see the Verde Visconti colour! But take note, it's not available in the First Edition and the Stelvio Quadrifoglio! carconfigurator.alfaromeo.com/it_IT/Stelvio/ P.S.: The Blu Misano is also great looking, especially on the Giulia Quadrifoglio!!
That brown paint is beaitiful, i think it looks even better in the sun light. I totally agree with you there's abit of a conflict about the interior's color combination, i like that dark chocolate wood very much (never seen before btw) but i'd rather have it combined with either a dark brown or a very light beige leather.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this. I felt like there was another color that would have went nicely with it, just couldn't put my finger on it!
That great spec cries out for the dual pane sunroof!! It would allow ambient lighting to further enhance that good look and yes a $1350 "bump" (yes, I'm in the car business), but residualized won't turn away the (typical) lease client. Good eye.
So beautiful! I'd love to get this one after my current Explorer lease is up. I already have the Giulia which is my wife's daily driver and it's fantastic! Such a well crafted car.
It's different, I'm guessing that's what makes it something special, it does catch my eye! Especially the brown interior, not something I'd normally go for, but looks pretty cool. Merry Christmas Ron, and to everyone reading this.
Excellent value for money. Didn't get the engine capacity. You guys in the us are lucky since you get a cheaper price for European cars than us here. Combo looks very elegant. As you say it depends on each others needs and wants. I would probably go for such a combo for this type of car and keep the more sporty for the gulia
Where are you located Phaedon? Yeah Targa who is one of my followers here tells me about Australian prices for these cars and they put me in shock. Import taxes etc are crazy. One downside is our inspections and regulations make a lot of cars illegal here in the states.
Ron: about prices, here in Europe it's like 7/8% more expensive. Plus, For whatever reason the US market is offered more options. For instance, the Giulia 2.0L 280hp is available in Q4 trans only. No Q2. Unbelievable isnt it!!. Merry Christmas to you Sir.
Rons Rides Hi Ron I leave between Geneva Switzerland and Greece. Can't tell you what the car prices are in Greece because you will be shocked !! Lots of taxes like Australia. In Geneva things are better since we only have 8pc VAT. Having said that European car companies in general subsidise their sales to the us hence cheaper. More importantly that cars are usually fully loaded where in Europe everything is an option. Have a great Christmas and thank you for sharing your passion with us.
I actually went to Alfa Romeo Winter Haven yesterday and test drove a base Stelvio in that brown. Dude when you get a chance look at the color in the sun. it changes to a grey color.
Peace,Blessings and Greetings To You Ron! Just found your Channel and I also subscribed! Looking forward to viewing other great videos from your channel! HAPPY,HAPPY New Years and May your 2018 be everything you wish for and more. HAPPY New Years Everyone!!!🌞 P.S. Like that color combination.
Hey Ron, I saw the same car at the Long Island Fiat Alfa dealer. AWESOME. You would think it's understated, dark brown, but it really stands out. Are they delivering the cars with Apple CarPlay yet?
I'm not a fan of that colour combo to be honest, I think it's tailored to James May too much. Although I do like the leather and dash colour, and those wheels really interest me!
Hold it am I seeing things did a dealer actually spec a car with a warm and tasteful colour combination. Look at the new and spectacular colours offered for the 2018 Gran Turismo; too bold, too enchanting, and too aesthetically challenging, can't do it, I'm afraid.
