This Callaway Golf Ball Was A TERRIBLE Idea!!! What is the best golf ball ever? the Titleist Pro-V1? Taylormade TP5? Callaway Chromesoft? Callaway Chromesoft? what about the worst golf ball ever? the Pinnicle gold? the Callaway supersoft? what golf balls should I use? what golf ball should you use? should high handicap golfers use expensive golf balls? in that debate what's the difference between cheap golf balls and expensive golf balls? expensive golf balls vs cheap golf balls is always a huge debate... a bit like cheap golf clubs vs expensive golf clubs... what about golf ball colours? in this video we take a look at possibly the worst golf ball ever... a red Callaway super soft golf ball...

I’ve played the Callaway Superhot Matte for over a year. They consistently drive 10-15 yards longer than my previous ball. I like the Red / Orange in the Spring, as they are very easy to find in new green grass. In the fall, I switch to the lime / green color as they stand out in the leaves.

The reds are one of the easiest to see by far, they are so damn red its ridiculous, they almost look like they are glowing. I guess its just a personal thing, some people see colours different. But red is the direct opposite colour of the sky, so it should be much easier to see off the tee. They do feel super tacky/rubbery though, so much so that if you try cleaning one, the towel just gets stuck on the ball and you cant wipe it. And since they are so soft they do scuff up a bit. They are great balls though never had a problem hitting the fairway with them, super easy to see in the rough too. The only colour I would say contrasts green even more than red is pink. But orange, green, and yellow, aren't good balls for autumn. Purple, pink and blue would be much better if you wanted to see your ball in the autumn leaves.
@tylercady3985

Yeah I like the feel of the ball, but honestly the main reason I use them is because I'm so terrible at finding the fairway that I need the most ridiculous colors to be able to find the ball when I inevitably end up a mile into the woods

Have played the Callaway SuperSoft Red before and definitely found it easier to find in the crap. With that said I also found I couldn't get the same spin off the shorter clubs. Played a couple of dozen of Wilson DX2 softs in that color this summer. It's true that they tend to be more difficult to track all the way, but I found them easier to find once you're closer, especially in the rough. The color really pops from the green, as long as you don't have any level of color blindness.

The red ones I can follow fine in the air, but some of the darker red ones are hard to see for me on the ground. I have trouble in the air following white balls now though so I use a yellow ball. For me, it's the easiest to locate both on the ground and above. And thankfully (golf wise anyway) here on the coast of Florida I don't have to worry much about fall colors. If you lose a ball here in the leaves here, it's not camouflage it's hiding under one.

I play coloured balls in the winter and I tried the red Taylormade soft response, hardest balls to find!! Thought they’d be easy, lost a sleeve in 9 holes!!

Volvik s3 and s4 pink and orange balls are great colours and they are top quality too. Unfortunately they are very expensive.

I use the orange ones. I’ve tried switching to other balls but these are the ones I play best with.

Bought a box of DX2 blue a while ago. Felt and performed OK but even in flight and when on the fairway my playing partners and I found them difficult to see. Impossible in links rough! I went back to Mizuno balls.

Doo you remember the black balls Nike cameo out with several yeas ago Now they were hard to see even on TV. I am a legally blind golfer and can only see a ball from about 15 to 20 feet away. A little farther on a lush dark green fairway. On a mottled green and brown fairway such as in the early sprring I ofter only find when I hit it with my foot. For me , the easiest 3 colours to see in order are florescent green, bright yellow and bright white. White balls can vary greatly in their brightness. As all my golfing buddies use white balls, the collared ones make it easier to spot mine on the green.

I would only use a red ball if the sky is grey. However, I prefer neon green in all weather conditions for visibility.

I always had trouble with orange I could watch it in flight and actually see it disappear. Yellow or white for me.
