@@Mrdood999: I suspect a sizeable number of people would be cheeky and refer to the title as "Magical N-words," literally saying that, even though it's technically the incorrect term starting with N.
yup, but they legit just decided to actually make a movie that divides the 2 groups even more, like everybody loves boondocks, whether be white or black, this couldve been a great opportunity for every1 to enjo it buy yeah, more racism
People not understanding the title is in reference to a movie trope where black people somehow have mystical powers, eg. Green Mile. but yeah the movie is probably ass
Morgan Freeman was once asked: _"How are we going to get rid of racism?”_ His response: _"Stop talking about it. I’m going to stop calling you a white man, and I’m going to ask you to stop calling me a Black man.”_
Eh. I've always felt that was a pretty dumb way to say it. "Black" and "white" are valid descriptors that aren't inherently racist, just like referencing that someone has red hair or green eyes or tattoos. I get what Morgan Freeman was trying to say (stop placing IMPORTANCE on race), but everyone just willfully acting as if race doesn't exist isn't a solution for racism anymore than pretending criminals don't exist is a solution to crime.
The main actor dude, the terrible wizard kid from the DnD movie, actually told some white "fan" that HE couldn't say the name. Apparently playing a victim makes people dumb af
The unhinged part is that the critics negatively reviewed it because it wasn’t racist enough. They wanted to see white people get dunked on even harder.
I want a black remake of harry potter because I want to see the actors look at hermione and say "no you don't understand, the house elves WANT to be slaves!" It was a bad take in the 90s and it's a bad take now.
I just go up the register & ask for the tickets so I can say the title of the movie. Then I say I changed my mind & either pick a different movie or walk away. lol lmao even
The irony how yes 70% are jokes in comments untill you see this comment and well 🤷🏽♂️ atleast it’s not all wrong. Ahh the internet where the outcasts can trick themselves into thinking there not at the bottom of the human ladder by being racist. How I love western humans.
@@PirateR4ptor oh come on, lol two sides of the same coin. Half more then half of america is irish and german but mfers going around claiming that shit lol.
the irony of key n peele doing a skit about this very thing, only to have someone go "we should do this and take it very seriously". Wes was right, if this was 100 percent satire might've done alright, like crazy rich asians.
Wait it's a serious movie? I thought it was a comedy. That's why Asmon was shitting on it, because if it was a comedy I honestly think it would be a pretty damn amazing one. Like Scary Movie.
@Get-me-out-of-Gacha-hellAh yes, the smart thing to do if something bad is shifting towards the mainstream is to just stick your head in the sand and not say anything 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 (😂 50x)
It’s not pander, no black people want this and no black people will go see it. They spent $275m on this movie to stuff anti-whiteness down your throat. It’s not for black people, jewish producers don’t care about blacks. It’s about attacking whites.
Hagrid: "You a wizard, n---a!" Harry: "I'm a what?" Hagrid: "A wizard, mthafuka! You hear me!?" Harry Potter - Daniel Radcliffe Hagrid - Sam L. Jackson
Well it is a little, YOu're still the actor that accepted the role, knowing very well what it was. Imagine getting the script and title and everything and say ''yes I want this to be where my face is'' The actor knows, they're not just forced
"Why?" was my reaction. I like the actor, I like his performances, I live his voice (who, I think could be the next James Earl Jones or Morgan Freeman in terms of voice acting). Maybe the actor is woke (thus braindead) to begin with. Still gonna give him the chance though, until proven for sure.
@@RedcloudsrocksActing is a job, I've never been on the 'blame actors' thing. It's a gig, a paycheck, you gotta pay the bills. John Rhys Davies has done loads of like really goofy low-budget TV movies in his illustrious career, doesn't mean he's a bad actor, or that his morals are compromised. Mean's he's got a family to support and bills to pay. Not every role gonna be Gimli.
The sad part to me is that the concept could be successful, name and all, they just shouldn't have taken themselves so seriously with it. Make it something akin to Blazing Saddles and it would've been gold
Yeah, when I first heard about the movie I literally thought the Wayans bros were going to do a Scary Movie treatment to that Key and Peele skit. I was actually kinda excited. Then I saw the first trailer and died laughing (not in the funny way...in the "oh no no no no" way)
All they had to do was make Black Dynamite but with magic and that movie would be a success. Unfortunately that would require actual talented people that actually wanted to entertain their audience.
My first thought is that it wasn't a serious movie, especially because the lead actor, last I saw, was in the D&D movie, which wasn't very serious. I actually forgot that this movie still existed, I hated it the second the trailer was over and didn't want to hear about it again. Some other comment implied that the movie is meant to create division, I already see people falling for it, so it makes you wonder. I'm gonna go back to forgetting this movie exists.
Indeed he does. His vids tackles real shit and makes fun out of any garbage from Netflix's Good Times and Velma to people asking for their Zodiac Signs.
but she can't see it because if she said the title it would make her a racist within the rules she values. she'd have to go with a person of african decent and they'd have to ask for the tickets.
Unfortunately I was drinking soda when I heard the name of that movie and proceeded ugly laugh and it came out of my nose. I have never felt such a sensation of PAIN like pins and needles flying through my nose until tonight.
"2 tickets for that new american magical society movie please" "I'm sorry sir, we have no such movies on option. Are you sure this is the correct name?" "... Uh, you know I think I forgot my wallet anyway, see ya!"
Bro, fans of the Avatar films were never able to take this crap seriously. We've been gaslit, no joke, for 15 years now because people genuinely hate those films that much for some reason and have tried everything in the book to sell them as the worst movies on the planet when they are really just oldschool sci-fi "whole new world" movies. And they look good. Avatar in 2009 LOOKED REALLY GOOD and STILL beats an overwhelming majority of movies in the visual department alone. I'm not saying these are the best movies ever, I do love them but that title goes to Shawshank Redemption. What I AM saying is that Marvel NEVER had an excuse.
@@frankishempire2322 Do you really think the title is about the Spanish word, or the racially charged terminology used in the US to describe an african american person that a white person would abbreviate to the n-word? Are you sure you know what you're talking about?
@@ThomasGabrielWhiteused as the N word tho. either with the hard R or it ending with an o its used that way depending on how pissed you are saying it.
The thing is, that word doesn't mean anything special outside of the US. Only YOU guys have a problem with that word. Your obsession is so bad, I don't think I should even write it here, cuz RU-vid is gonna likely to auto-delete my comment. Hilarious!😆😆😆
