This episode was a masterpiece. The emotions, the transition when Boruto held Naruto's hand. Could be a symbol, that from now on Boruto will be the helping hand that Kurama for many years was to Naruto. If that was the intention behind this scene, this anime might be better than we think.

It really feels like Kurama has been with us our whole life. And to feel a piece of one self and childhood vanish just left a huge empty hole in my heart.

Personally my favorite Kurama moment was when he encouraged Naruto to go the extra mile on his own for himawari to catch that thief. It was really sweet and showed how much he’s changed.

This just breaks me man. I never would imagine I would be crying over the death of Kurama what an absolute legend. RIP.

When he cries Kurama, I can't help but hear the little insecure kid in him and start crying even if I've seen this a bunch of times since it aired.

i didn’t watch naruto as a kid, sadly, so i don’t quite feel the nostalgia that everyone else feels. however, after finishing watching naruto last year, and catching up with boruto now, that show has made such a fucking impact on me, and is the only show that made me cry multiple times, whether it was jiraiya, itachi, and now this. i loved naruto and kurama’s duo, imo it was better than naruto and sasuke, and also imo one of, if not the greatest bond in anime. to see him go hurts, and since this episode came out last sunday, i still cry every time this shit is brought up. RIP kurama, thank you for being there for naruto, and for us Edit: also, i would like to share my favorite moment with them. i think it would have to be after the war was finally over and all the tailed beasts were out, and naruto screams OI, KURAMAAA! and saying shit like “did you miss me?” and all that. it’s such a sweet moment, and kurama’s answer after just makes the moment so much better. now everyone is using that in fucking edits and making me cry all the time, i can’t catch a break. lastly, naruto’s b day was this past sunday, so i just wanted to say HAPPY BELATED B DAY NARUTO.

I think the thing that makes this hit the hardest is the character development of Kurama. The show starts out from him attacking the village, hating humanity, all the way to sacrificing himself to save humanity. Crazy writing from Kishimoto. Absolute legend, RIP Kurama

this is my favorite kurama moment. this is proof that Naruto took all the hate inside kurama's heart and filled it with love. there is no way you can disagree kurama loved Naruto to the point he didn't even think twice about sacrificing himself just to make sure that Naruto had a fighting chance. Kurama's sacrifice is not merely an act of duty, but a gesture of pure, selfless love.

Ngl, I held it together pretty well through the goodbye to Kurama. I cried yeah, but I wasn't sobbing. For some reason, the ending bit with Boruto and him saying "I thought I was never gonna see you again." was what got me. I just started bawling. Beautiful episode and fantastic sendoff to Kurama. read the manga for this episode, there are a few different bits of dialogue. kurama acknowledging how he killed narutos parents. now kurama has done the same thing they did, sacrifice his life, so that narutos can continue. What a guy, Rest in peace.

I didn't felt like this when I read this in the manga but dude... the anime did BEATIFULY job with this!!! I cried like a baby almost... and I don't really cry that often but this hurt me sooo much like it's up there with Jiraiya and with Naruto's parents being the saddest episode ever in the Naruto FOREVER! I still can't believe Kurama is gone but I'm glad that Naruto and Kurama had little time at least to talk zo each other until he's going out like one of the OG's character that we hated first then we loved by ens of the series... I’ve been going through so much these past few months and haven’t shed a single tear, but this episode got me good.

After watching this episode at least 5 times, it still hurts so much. I still shed a couple tears. I don’t think there will become a time when it doesn’t hurt so much.

My favorite thing about kurma is this moment. Really it's a 180 from him, even near the end of Shippuden, this is probably the first truly selfless act he's ever performed. It's like, he knew that not only if he didn't do that everything would be lost, but also that naruto has more to live for. It was his choice, and if it wasn't for him making that choice, there couldn't have been a good outcome. Mans went out like a true shinobi.

Man this is the most emotional episode in Boruto for sure , maybe in Naruto too , Kurama was a really amazing character tbh a lot of people took him for granted , you only realize the value of someone after they're gone sometimes :/ R.I.P

I was born in 1992 and started watching Naruto when I was 12, basically the same age as Naruto is in season 1. I'm 29 now with a 7-year-old son and a 3-month old. This episode made me cry like a baby because it really is like watching someone you've known for 19 years pass away. Dragon Ball Z didn't hit the same way because I was too young to really understand the bond between a father and son. But this show has actually tracked with every phase of my own life. I can't think of any other show that has been able to pull this off. It's pretty incredible what amine can do.

I love the first time when Naruto was saying, "Hey, you stupid fox! You're in my body and you owe me rent! So for payment, I'll take your chakra! You got that?!" That's the first time Kurama respected Naruto in a way. That started it all. R.I.P one of my favorite characters in Naruto, we will all miss you Kurama.

Boruto 217, Boruto 218 the best anime episodes. They have everything you want from an anime, action, new transformation, loss, wins, a rainbow of emotions. Props to Kishimoto, Kodachi and studio Pierrot for putting these 2 unforgettable episodes in anime history.

I love that Kurama was really just a force of nature that didn't want to be tied down by humans. He was used for his power because they were all afraid of the tailed beasts or each other. He was used and had to take all the punishment by himself. Dude got forced into a baby and was powerless to stop it. But the baby eventually shows him a new side to everything, it's just beautiful

The fight on the bridge with Zabuza and Haku, the first time Naruto fought Gaara when we thought that was Kurama when he transformed, the first fight with Sasuke at the valley of the end, the Orochimaru fight... Grew up with this duo, damn this anime really shaped my character, so many memories

I always had some odd nostalgic and sad vibes from the ending without really knowing why but damn... all this time it was in front of us: that ending was a tribute to Kurama and I kinda knew it, deep down... Kurama had one of the best character arcs in Naruto. From being a monster that destroyed the leaf and killed so many people to being apart of the leaf, respected and saving everyone while sacrificing only himself. I've cried multiple times during the years of the show but the way they ended the episode with the credits, when that aired live I was alone in my room at 2am balling my eyes out like I just lost a brother. It hurt so much. To this day one of the best fight scenes and most tragic deaths. One thing Naruto always did right as a show was having impactful deaths. We just never thought the day would come when it was Kurama because we always assumed he'd be with Naruto until his own death. Hope Boruto continues to be a banger of a show and have more great moments, the current arc is cool but filler arcs are here now because we caught up to the Manga again. Just hope we get some cool new stuff down the line on par with Shippuden.
