Now Isshiki realized that he's up against one of the Legendary Anime character who was built for 720 episodes.

This episode had so many hype stuff but I loved the subtleties too. Like the episode title usually shows up at the beginning. But this time, the title "decision" slowly came up at the end after Kawaki made his decision! Idk but I thought that was hard

Those were Koji's flame that isshiki threw at Naruto

The way the countdown gets to him mentally and reminds him of the past was done in a masterclass way

I really really loved the choreography of this fight. It wasn't all about throwing Ka-me-ha-me-has but some high level Taijutsu which we all appreciate.

I think its really cool that the first time we see kawaki, it's him trying to run as far away from jigen as possible. hell the only reason he even agreed to join the hidden leaf village at first was because he thought naruto could protect him from jigen. now, after naruto's had his influence on him, kawaki's able to be the one who face jigen himself, refusing to run away. good shit overall.

the anime DESTROYED the manga version

I've been watching this reaction for like two days and it still got me every time. The fact that they gave Kawaki all this backstory makes him an amazing character. This is now "Kawaki. Naruto Next Generation". Period.

As much as I wanted Naruto to do a big jutsu, he couldn’t cuz he was going of what kurama told him to play it safe and get his hits in because if he did do it he would’ve wasted the form.(Hence why Naruto was squaring up like a boxer because kurama told him to) 10/10 episode loved the reaction.

This is probably my favorite ep from boruto yet. Kawaki is my favorite character in the series and one of my fav new gen side characters. I really like him. Also in the manga who knew kurama was this smart.

Karma was never stated to be automatic when someone kill an Otsutsuki, thats still an assumption based on Momoshiki's cryptic message,assuming all Otsutsuki follow the same rules,the scene where we see Boruto n Momoshiki talk IS the scene where Momoshiki in his dying moment plant the Karma in Boruto,either that or Momoshiki follow different rules cuz Isshiki clearly cant autoplant his Karma otherwise this arc wont even be a thing n he just die there n plant his karma to Naruto to walk away with that Uzumaki body as a vessel(if Boruto is compatible vessel,surely Naruto would too right?)

Absolutely loved the way Naruto and Kurama kinda fused together, like the fusions in DBZ and DBS. Which is also why I think we're getting a different fighting style than we normally see with Naruto, along with how taxing Baryon Mode is. I got fucking shivers hearing Naruto and Kurama's voices mixing, particularly during the climatic Rasengan while on the water. Beautiful episode, totally not ready for this Sunday. Also, here to drop another reference or two from this fight: 1. Naruto's three time punch against Isshiki on the water was a frame by frame recreation of the same move from back during Naruto vs. Sasuke in part 1. 2. when Isshiki figures out what Naruto is doing with Baryon Mode and starts taunting him, he was using similar hand movements and facial expressions as Sasuke when he went full psycho during the Five Kage Summit. 3. The fire Isshiki used against Naruto was actually the fire Kashin Koji had summoned during their fight earlier. 4. After Naruto knocks Isshiki down and back against the rocks, it's another frame by frame recreation, this time of the end of Sasuke and Itachi's fight, when Sasuke is sat against the wall and Itachi is slowly walking towards him. Even did the same effect for Naruto's vision fucking up.

Just to throw it out there baryon modes name is a reference to when a star dies because the Orange color fades red before going out

This Episode I think is now THE BEST animated Naruto/Boruto Episode yet.

In my opinion best animated ep in all of naruto and boruto. The line where he said “come otsutsuki” that was so cold 🥶 and the water scene was something magical!!

Ishiki is like a narcissistic father from hell. He'll break you emotionally, physically & kill you from inside then use you for his self gratification.

I think it's safe to say that they finally surpassed episode 65 with this. Oh man, am I excited and scared for the 218!

12:09 did you guys forgotten Kawaki had the Karma few episodes ago while Isshiki was ALIVE inside Jigen's ear? The Otsutsuki can just give the Karma. Momo did it when he was dying, but that's not a rule.

I was honestly expecting Kurama to bring out his nuclear physics degree in this like the manga 😅 The simplified explanation was better.

I feel like the scene with jigen counting down in front of kawaki representing his trauma was underrated

Heisuten! Kurama literally told him not to spend excessive energy and have unnecessary thoughts for keeping the baryon mode running for longer time! So any big flashy jutsu is out of the question

the deepa arc was only like 40 episodes ago, this anime has been so good recently

I don’t know if this was intentional on the writers part, but I just want to point out that the same way that people would feel if Naruto was killed off is the same way Boruto felt in the beginning of The series when Naruto wasn’t around and focused on his Hokage duties more than his family

Isshiki is actually worried because he's abt to die due to fighting with Naruto. I think no one get it aside how good the fight, is that Naruto sacrifice himself for Isshiki life to reduce.

In 6:08 that move naruto was using against isshiki was the same one from og naruto when naruto and sasuke battled in the valley. I corrected my self cause you watch the scene my bad.

26:25 It's nuclear fusion not fission. Fission is when the energy particles divide to give out energy. Fusion is when the energy particles combine to give out some energy but it also takes up energy itself. Like as Kurama said happens with the Sun. That's why we say that the Sun will die in a few billion years as the atoms are combining to be used as fuel. Same happens with Baryon mode as the chakra of Naruto & Kurama combine to use this mode until the chakra runs out and they die. But on top of that it also combines chakra of anything it touches and that's why Ishhiki's chakra gets combined too and hence lessens his life.

6:08- that move, Naruto punching him and snap kicks him, this is exactly the same move he did to Sasuke from Naruto Part 1 in Final Valley.

Ishiki isn't a person looking for a match in the universe tho, he takes pride in having none actually. So he didn't really have a reason to compliment Naruto in this feat and in the first place - if u remember in the first narusaku vs ishiki fight - his goal wasn't to defeat them; actually, they're literally just in the way. His main priority has always been to regain his immortality back. He didn't participate in any of the wars on earth despite being there as long as kaguya (tho u can argue it's coz he was weak still). The agenda was: Get new body, plant tree, eat fruit -because that way he wins anyway (and without anyone none the wiser too! This discreet plan only failed because they chose kawaki and Naruto chose him too lol) I appreciate his character, he wasn't in for the power competition, just for the power, (mainly coz he believes it's his right as an Otstustuki to be above anything) and he doesn't indulge in brawler fights, thinks sensibly and is pragmatic in every sense. This is what sets him apart from, say, Momoshiki for example.

I think the fire jutsu that Ishiki used was the same Fire that Kashin Koji used against him. Remember the fire is eternal and Ishiki just shrunk it and probably stored it in his dimension.
