With Cruelclaw's Heist, if you gift a card to your target they draw that card before you get to choose. So you both get more options, you get to take the best card, and you know what they drew.

Is it weird I wanna use Caregiver's Talent in my Vihaan, draw when I make a treasure, 1 white to make a treasure, and level 3 makes my treasures 5/5 on my combat step

Also you miss something important with Cruelclaw's Heist: Let's say an opponent just did a scry or surveil and left the card, likely means its something they want/need right? Gift them the card, they HAVE to draw it, then you can take it

The green rwach recla sage doesn't work with blink. Gift says cast, not etb.

if someone ever locks my commander down like that? I will give the board a turn to free my commander. then if no one helps me, I board wipe. and I'm pretty sure this new set is going to have some really interesting board wipes...
