I don't think levan has a better flop press than Genadi, the thing is: Genadi had absolutely nothing against Devon in the hand department, but against Levan Devon had to put everything in budging his hand, if he changed one millimeter away from that game plan Levan could simply toproll him. As Devon said in the post match interview, what makes Levan so good is that he has multiple tools in his arsenal on top of being super mega strong (my fren).

I don't know man. I mean, Devon went shoulder in and hook against Jerry and at the time he wasn't this strong. I think Devon lost this fight in his head first and foremost. After round 1 there was grounds to think Levan's wrist was not all good. I think Devon should have gone all in, surprise Levan, instead of sticking to the same routine. Bro Levan didn't even looked bothered even in the setup unlike their 1st match in round one and 2 and he barely had his head shaking in round 1 this time unlike their 1st encounter. When Devon had that slight stop, you could see Levan somewhat redlining and head shaking. This time he was so smooth with his brute force. The one thing i wish Levan did in the last round was just let Devon take his wrist again and then just hold him for like 30secs maybe and then try and go for the pin from there so that it would have been and epic finish with everyone screaming their lungs out. I also found that this match was more respectful than their 1st match because they were even laughing at some point when Devon got pinned and screamed "DAMMIT MAN" "DAMMIT" while also laughing, it was very amazing. Loved that moment. This was probably the most hyped up i've been on a sport. Sad this era has ended between Devon and Levan but happy for the entertainment and all they've done individually for the sport of armwrestling. Genadi influence so much on this match, Genadi had all the information necessary to get Levan ready for Devon. That Genadi match exposed Devons weakness and Genadi prepared with Levan for a possible stop from Devon. I wish that press never happened, I would have loved to see Levan try to get out of that scenario without a press but he knew he was in trouble and didn't want to risk gasing up playing around with Devon so he transitioned to his secret weapon, the press and that press LOOKED just like Genadis press, you can tell that Levan and Genadi polished it. Devon had no chance, not with a press on Levans game, I loved that stop, I just wished Levan didn't transition to a press.

Don't really think this was important man. The only stop just above the pin pad that he got was w/an (illegal) king's move against Levan's flop press, and, had he been able to achieve that without going under the table (a much smaller ask than any of this other win conditions beyond that point) in subsequent rounds (assuming he forced Levan to flop again and again), he likely would have punched holes in Levan's endurance and confidence. What lost him the match was Levan's ability to adjust in the setup and come over the top of Devon after the "go." It was Levan's versatility, yes, and the flop press was a part of that, but, unless the arm extension burned Devon's biceps (which I kind of doubt, but who knows?), but it was really that he changed his approach in the 2nd round onward that spelled the end for Devon. Maybe you mean that watching him flop forced you to acknowledge his versatility and that that's what you thought would challenge Devon going forward, but the press itself, while obv not ideal for Devon (because it nearly pinned him), didn't result in anything so deviated from the Larratt plan that it should have been the "moment of truth" for you. And I kind of think that you don't even think that but are looking for a unique and "big brained" angle from which to come at it for clickbait reasons ("THIS CHANGED EVERYTHING...").

You absolutely right but in which ever circumstances Devon's techniques he had no chance to generate enough power against Levan, especially shoulders of Levan is full of muscles which backs him up, you could see it in the first round when Levan just conated him waiting Devon getting exhausted before Levan started using a quoter of his power, however the mistake Devon did and the same did on Denis by trying to press Levan repeatedly and that makes you loose all energy in seconds and the recovery takes longer than the time they had left

Devon felt far from comfortable in round 1. Otherwise, he would have started with trash talk. What we saw was not Devon having control over Levan's hand, but Levan patiently waiting to execute plan B, namely the press. It was Levan's first match in a long time, so it was logical for him to take a moment to cautiously feel things out. Let's be honest: Levan knew he had nothing to fear after the very first slip.

The press Levan was too much for Devon to resist, he would let his opponent push all the time until he was exhausted. And even though he went for the shoulder on the table, I think Genadi knew about it because Devon lost on the flop and Levan was using it, but I think Devon wasn't strong enough to quickly use the shoulder and deep hook on the strong Levan. That much because he used it with Genadi was not very effective and was not very beneficial to him.

Devon lost because he forgot everything he'd worked on in the last year and 10 months. After he fought Levan last time, he finally realized that pulling in a purely defensive way was NOT the answer, you HAVE to be able to attack and go forwards, which exactly what Devon had been doing, up until this match. Even in the first round, they were both just holding centre, yet Devon was still hanging off Levans arm, just waiting to go into the kings move, I knew it was lost then. Very disappointing...

I can't wait for the TL; DR comments below this comment. As Devon said and as he is right about it, the 1st round is the most important in the match and it's been like that. I'm not a "typical Devon Fanboy" that upfront and I have huuuge respect for both of the athletes. Regarding the first round, noone has ever WON center table against Levan since 2018 if I'm not mistaken, and noone has ever held him at least at center table for 20sec since 2018 which Devon did in the match. I might sound stupid to some people but I think Devon could have actually won the 1st round but he had the highest pressure ever in his whole career as an Armwrestler in Round 1 ever since he startet that Sport, but he made some minor "errors" which led to him losing in my opinion. Why do I think Devon did some "mistakes" u might question, well here is my take on that. - GO - Devon "(wins)" center table, Levan trys to drive sideways but HE CAN'T Devon is ACTUALLY too strong, Devon even makes Levan STAND UP again (which we have never seen before I think after Levan tried to drive sideways since he normally just wins center table and drives sideways). They continue to hold each other for a quiet some time, but here the first "mistake" happens from Devon's side, he loses his so much renown patience and trys the same "jiggling/testing" of Levan's side pressure which he did to Denis too, Devon moves him a bit off of the center to his side, but in a blink of an eye Levan gains back the ground and probably a tiny bit more than he had before and they are at table center again, Devon and Levan still being equally strong. *Why* do I think it was a mistake from Devon's side? Devon had the overall better position before that, higher webbing, Levans wrist was slightly backwards I think just a tiny bit and he held him where he wanted him to be, but then LOST more ground than he gained by "testing" Levan instead of just continuing to keep Levan where he is and WINNING his wrist which probably started to become a bit tired slowly. *Why* do I think Levan's wrist became tired? Well if we watch really close just before Levan transitions into the press, BEFORE he started the transition his wrist started to give up, u can see that for like half a second or so (I'm not 100% sure about it, it could have been on purpose aswell, but all of Devon's backpressure went into Leava's finger and wrist so I doubt even Levan can withstand that for too long). Levan did not move with his body but his wrist gave up a slightly bit and then made a split second decision to transition in the press. At the end, if Devon would have been a slightly bit stronger in his biceps (wink wink everyone telling him that lol) he maybe could have contest Levan's flop wrist press in a better position (by standing up again like he did against Dave Chaffee) than trying to Kings Move (btw utterly stupid ruling imo from "East vs West") since Michael Todd should have gotten disqualified like 10 times during the Frank Lamparelli match since his humerus (bone) went in a declining position (even if it's JUST 1° or 2°) so many times and if u make rules they should apply to EVERYONE! The first round was like a top fuel dragster race, they started equal went hood to hood, tire by tire half the distance until Levan ignited the Nitros (flop press) and crossed the Finish line first. I think the 1st round was much closer than everyone thinks, the 1st round just lost its "representation of the match" due to Levan winning all 3 following rounds quiet "effortless", but getting stretched out by Levan completely (LOL that wording) cost Devon a lot of power as Levan also mentioned, which makes a lot of sense since Devon can't stretch out his permanently angled T-Rex arms at all normally. Regarding what you just said in the video, I want to say I think Devon tried to hook Levan actually or he tried to go into a press himself but it looked more like a hook to me (Round 4 before straps where Devon slipped kinda "ugly") u can see he rotated his right shoulder in and also gripped more like a hook than trying to toproll but right after the GO in a brief second Devon noticed he can't hook or move Levan at all which resulted in why he abandoned it and slipped kinda "ugly". At the end I wanted to say, the 1st Round of the Devon vs Levan match was probably the best round I have ever watched in Armwrestling, even my adrenalin was pumping just watching it. Overall really really good event, I hope Georgi will recover again asap and wish everyone who has read till here a nice day/night, stay healthy!

Also, had Devon not tried to hold on to Levans flop press, he may have had more in the tank for the following rounds.

actually levan in every single round , in a winning position had the shoulder at the end under the table lv, that wa actually forbidden but not a single time referty stopped him or say something, to the other side every time devon do just a little fault the referty imediatly call it.

It doesnt matter where you start, devon lost but won the hearts, he tried to play it very smart, levan smells like farts.

I knew Levan would have a flop press, and he showed this. Rooted for Devon but it was a clear 60-40 for Levan.
