Hi, Jack. I found your channel while looking for help to take care of my Echeveria Harmsii. I subscribed! Thank you for sharing your story. In September, my Dad had a severe heart attack. I am hoping that your Doctor also referred you to cardio rehab, nutrition counseling, and a cardiologist. My Dad faced similar lifestyle changes that you described: diet and exercise and I think that he was overwhelmed initially. The cardio rehab experience helped my Dad embrace a new workout routine for his week, which also helped give him confidence that he was performing the necessary exercises correctly for his heart. The nutrition counseling was for both my Mom and Dad, and the counseling helped boil down the dieting information into more clear action-steps so that the process of change was less stressful. I hope you have that support, too! Dad also made dietary changes, like eating more at home and embracing more fish, chicken, veggies/greens in his diet. I am cheering you on in prayer in Jesus' Name! You are beloved by God. I am very sorry that you suffered a heart attack and am relieved to hear that you have no damage. Keep taking care of yourself! (Also, I hope that your Echeveria Harmsii is thriving more. Mine is very "leggy" with multiple narrow stems and I'm hoping to discover the right care approach.)

Yes, always listen to your wife! Thank goodness she took charge and took you to the hospital! I’m so sorry you went through that frightening experience. It’s excellent that you are sharing your atypical symptoms. It may save someone else! Take care of yourself. Wishing you and your wife health and happiness. 😢🌱🍀

This is my first RU-vid comment. I enjoyed watching all your fig updates, until I start watching this video. I am so sorry for the pain you have had and really wish you had gone through this already and are having a better life.

Sorry, to hear you and your wife have to go through so much, but God doesn’t give us what we can’t handle. Without you realizing it, you are comforting other people either in similar situations or those who just have major changes in their life. I made a huge change, left a job I love and moved from NY to Florida to care for my ailing mother. I don’t like Florida, but I love my mom and I now feel blessed to spend time together . Thank you, for being so honest and for keeping hope that things will get better. God bless you.

Hello Jack, I hope you and your wife are getting used to the new house . How are your plants doing and have you any new plants? I hope you are feeling better? God bless you

Hello! We love it here and feel so comfortable in it! The plants are doing good but no new ones. I'm going to put them outside this year. The air conditioner isn't vented into my room and it heats up to over 100 degrees because of the plant lights. They should do ok..I hope! It was nice to hear from you! Thank you.

Don’t mean to pry, but I hope you are well and getting stronger each day health wise. The days are getting longer and that means planting time, soon. I have a no name cactus I saved last year and it was doing well, but now it’s leaning. Is it possible to cut the cactus in half and repot?

Yes you can cut it and repot it. Let the cut end scar over for about a week so it doesn't rot when you plant it and it should be fine. I'm doing better and feeling stronger now. I started seeing a counselor to help me with my anxiety. Thank you for being so kind to me I appreciate you!
