I notice alot more of these e motos, and scooters using the road ways here in town. The question I want to ask is do you ever get pulled over? THought in N.J. you can only have a class 2 or 3 and it had to have pedals. Yet I see everyone and there mother rocking these electric moto's
The rarw bikes will never be good enough to be worth it, they are not as reliable as the competition. They don’t have replacement parts ready for the current rarw so I doubt they will for this one. The upgrade ability is nonexistent, the ERide Pro has been such a hit in the community that upgrades for it have popped up a lot. It will also be harder to make upgrades to it because it doesn’t have a standard frame or standard components. The wattage is not enough, especially for already having a 72 volt battery. You are better off going for the XXX in every way, if you want a good 72 bike, ERide is a no brainer.
E ride goes for 5000$ and rawer mantis lightly goes for got 3000$ it’s a good starter and just a good e bike it’s self u come with a smooth throttle and a 72v stock and on there websites there are some upgrades you could do to it and a better motor or battery for a surron cost like 3k$ around that price so if you want something to ride and fast at a good price definitely rawrr mantis x for sure😊
Yeah but the x3 is more built for the road and the eride is still 2k more for probably the power that most people do not need. This is a great option for someone that doesn’t care about upgrades and just wants to get out in all scenarios no BS
@@Steven-mm1nqthe front forks are good, most people say they are very stiff and feel nice and rugged, as for the rear shock it's not a linkage shock, and the shock itself in the rear is very soft, leading to the bike hitting the back wheel often which most other bikes do, but for trails and off-road the rear shock is not as good as most other ebikes, it's squirrelly, way to soft, and just isn't what you'd want for these bikes
Good stuff, pre-Afghanistan War there was talk about the large lithium mining in the Nation & during the war their was talk of access to lithium for the US & stopping the Heroin(poppy fields)..... sadly after all of it, we've never got any benefits of one of the largest lithium fields in the world not did we do anything about the poppy fields as we have record heroin but I digress. Thank you for bringing this, I've been expecting lower prices & even though we didn't get lower battery prices from the start, the Chinese Manufacturer's of batteries are said to be shutting down shifts b/c they've caught up w/ demand? Only time will tell but this is good news & I expect more for less b/c they know what we want..... peace
No, I mean NO aftermarket parts for the Mantis! Batteries, motors, controllers and more. I am selling my 2022 Surron X and getting a Talaria STING MX4 and putting a controller on it. Love the gearbox rather than the weak belt of the Sutton
Excited to see you unbox this bike and go over it in more detail. Do you happen to know what fork this is supposed to have? I'm hoping for 37mm stanchions KKE or ACE, something similar.. Not a big fan of the DNM fork on my Talaria XXX
but one differences is the triple x can be tune to 8.5 kw vs 3 to 6.5 kw so yes the bike is 72 volt but with the xxx being a year old there is a bit of more mods you can and other than that it's going to feel like a stock surron
Biggest issue with these bikes are they are trying to pass them off as ebikes to stay in the gray area. Surron type bikes need to have a battery or room for battery upgrade to do at least 50 miles on a charge. Especially for people that want to get them registered. Outside of that the giant hammer of the law is going to crash down on ebikes in general. Ive seen it happen in so many of my hobbies. Thing becomes cool, new/young people join the hobby and try to do all the risky/crazy stuff, laws pretty much cripple th hobby because of the bad press. Instead of re writing the classes of ebikes there just going to make a blanket rule for all of them.
I won't buy it cuz in Denver they were apart of some electric vehicle expo and I went over to the booth asking for a test drive cuz I have preordered the bike for about 3 weeks at that time and mine wasn't shipped still. Anyways back to asking for test drive I asked 3 times whilst my 2 minute full run down on the bike. I mean just from specs it does look promising but with older gen the speedometer was off and didn't get to full speed then I thought if it was the same stuff happening with the bike that's coming out, I asked 3 total times and they said no we are not doing test drives so I was kinda let down and I took my preorder back. So if Rawr seeing this comment yall weren't up to expectations let a lone give a singular customer a experience of how the bike feels
Probably not, but will be very competitive with surron and talaria and makes the other starter bike the xxx basically obsolete for 3k everyone would pick a 72v over the xxx
LOL!!! bro, i think you are stuck in the past Super73 was good about 5years ago, maybe 3years ago - but like the other guy already said, over-priced. What do you think about Revv1 DRT, thats the bike too beat right now, especially when you factor in the price. But yeah....Super73 is great if you are trying to look dumb in front of everyone.
@@blazingstars748 thats fantastic if you want to spend $10,000 dollars on a bike. My goal was the best value for my money, thats why Revv1 DRT ($2500) beat out Super73 lineup at half price. Good luck with the 10k bike, sounds spectacular, but will you still have money left for a jet plane?
These are not bicycles they are motor cycles. These kind of " bikes" are going to ruin it for everyone. Laws will be passed and ebikes are going to be highly restricted and permits and inspections will be needed.
@@datrill1000in Sweden they have already started taking measures to stop these ebikes, they have units they will deploy which they use to test if the bike is legal or not and there are heavy fines and impoundments for them if they arent
I wouldn't consider them motorcycles, nor would I consider it a bike, they are kinda in a category of there own, and that category sucks because it's a legal gray area currently and isn't exactly enforced
