He’s speaking for himself on the breastfeeding and that’s a VERY childish perspective. I’m sorry to say. There are men out here who are evolved enough to understand the benefits to their child that come from breastfeeding. Formula is chemicals. God created women with the remarkable capacity to create, bring forth and sustain life. If it wasn’t the woman’s choice to nurse that would be one thing, but to say no because he wants breasts for toys. Nah… selfish and childish.

So I’m assuming that the man is 19. He can’t be a mature man who cares about the mother or the baby. Just plain selfish and ignorant. Ignorant means he’s has not educated himself on nursing. He couldn’t me my husband or most women. He admitted it doesn’t understand child birth. If he doesn’t understand that, he’ll not understand the benefits of nursing.

I appreciate you sharing that conversation. There are a lot of men who feel the same way . Not to mention their women’s pregnancy being unattractive. Then being jealous of the attention the baby/kids get above him. Fortunately my husband wasn’t one of those men. His mom breastfed all of her babies and was the driving force in me doing it for both my children. He adored that I did this for his kids. My husband made it his mission to make me feel beautiful while pregnant, when I didn’t feel it. Our kids came first for both of us, yes we got in “we” time. Our kids are grown now and it’s all about me for him, and him for me. P.S. Breast are made to feed babies, not for a man’s pleasure.

Clearly, he is not educated about childbirth and breastfeeding and does not want to be educated so that makes him deliberatly ignorant, which is pretty sad. Men may feel like him but most understand the benefit of breastfeeding for the child. The child's need must come before your own. My prayer is that he learns this and his heart is changed.

Boyyyyyyy what's the matter with you?! Faye I love you but your friends from church are crazy! Spouse or not my body is still my body. Yea become one with the spouse but the whole point of breasts is to feed the baby so the baby can survive. I'd have a problem if my spouse wasn't ok with that. You know, I heard someone else comment about his wife breastfeeding once like that and it bothered me than too. Love your thoughts at the end about accountability. I'm not aware of the brand issue but I do like extending grace to people especially when they learn, amend from their past, and move forward better. 💗 Others need to be shut down because they're corrupt.

My respect for you was definitely solidified after this video. "Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us." If we dont forgive, we don't get forgiven. I came to the same conclusion about a year ago about that company and I also heard another saved influencer share the same sentiment. I also appreciate you sharing that conversation with your friends, I really enjoyed it. The girls are in a tissy about it...whew chile. Lol. Unpopular opinion, but what he said needed to be said and addressed. I don't agree that all men think that way, but some do and if you find yourself there, then education and a conversation (or several) should be had. But baby the girls are burning him alive in these comments. 😂 I just had a baby in September and can understand both sides.

Im a OG natural (40 plus years) and I watched it play out and was not impressed by either side but the product worked for me because I’m allergic to shea butter and product heavy coconut and olive oil irritate my scalp so I stayed with the product(s) because of the ingredients in one line of the brand and I still use them. I know God will bless your company! During the time the convo around Mielle was happening, I was not in agreement with how people really attacked the company for making a mistake. We all make mistakes and NO ONE can say they do not. I was even attacked for saying people make mistakes. Some people who did not bully the company were bullied by others online. That personally made me stop going to certain pages on RU-vid. But on a personal note, I remember, during Covid, after my pastor passed away, she personally sent me a recorded message where she prayed for my Church family. It meant so much. And almost every Monday she does a live prayer.

Hopefully they apologized to that influencer, because that really was nasty what they done. Apologizing and having discussions with others while totally not accepting responsibility for what was done in my opinion shows they haven't taken responsibility for their actions. The fact that it was her husband that done this made it worse. Because why would he think that approach would go over well is beyond me. At the time she was busy defending their actions and not apologizing. Not everyone is going to like every product a brand makes. You yourself give honest reviews on products...some you like some you don't. That's life. And hopefully they realized that. And apologized to the influencer. I haven't seen anywhere saying that they took responsibility and reached out to her but I may have missed it.

Very big of you Faye for speaking about second chances. I think what happened to that influencer was wrong and should've never happened, there were so many violations. I never saw a public apology which there should've been - just as loud as the offense. Not everyone will like or love what you do, but you can not let that deter you from doing your work. That's business. I also don't even want to start on the blatant infringing of Curl Cap's patented caps, another crazy ordeal. I took a few years off from using them because I just didn't like the business of it all, I have used them recently, because their products are good....but businesses have to know that what you do, how you move, can affect the bottom line. Ethics matter.

That whole thing with that company 😐 First of all, well said sis❤ I watched it play out with my own eyes and I didn’t agree with how it was handled. I do think it was a huge mistake, and everyone should move on. I personally do not purchase the products anymore but I stopped before that incident. They just didn’t work for me anymore. Those that still purchase them, cool, use what works for you.
