Down under is because she's australian Korone: 1. Her main weapon are punches since she said that she does boxing IRL 2. Ending making time (special) is the segment whenever she finishes stream either with a free chat or when she read superchats, she also collects yubis (fingers) from viewers during this segment 3. Choco coronet is because her lore is supposed to be a dog working at a bakery, her name Korone is a play on the Coronet bread 4. Endurance is because she's a hardcore endurance streamer, she's known for playing retro games (the hard ones) for hours and i mean 12 hours or more 5. The brainwashing skill is based the on Tsugunohi horror game based on Korone called Evil God Korone where the plot is that she (Korone) brainwashes her viewers with her streams to become mindless followers
For gameplay, dragon fire / holy fire (also Bone Bros) is a strong Collab but personally it's not always an auto pick for me for several reasons 1. It interferes with skills activated by main weapons since it's faster and more projectile than most weapons, a good example is Mio's Omen, Omen is necessary for Mio's special spam gameplay since enemies defeated by Omen increase her special gauge the other example is Calli's Death skill which can only be triggered by Scythe swing and Death 2. It makes stamps useless on some characters, one example is on your Korone run you have life steal stamp and since her main weapon is a melee the chance for it proc decreases since dragon fire kills enemies faster 3. Same with number 1 but with main weapon effects, some main weapons have secondary effects like granting debuffs like Mio and Miko, additional attacks like AZKi and Fubuki, DOT damage like Iofi and Haachama and the chances of these effects proc is lessen due to having dragon fire overshadowing the main weapon
There was a streamer who was playing Holocure for the first time, he saw the boxing glove as her weapon and asked "Oh, is Korone a boxer?" One of the viewers replied "No, she's a King Charles Spaniel." (That's the breed of dog her design is based off of) I thought that was a funny joke, hope you enjoyed it too.
Kay Yu really trying his best to make it useful but I think it's currently fine in its current state HP:DMG conversion keeps it unique to itself, making it a really good choice for tank classes Though I still preferred the Special regen when taking hits version, was pretty solid for characters like FBK and Oky, since apparently dodging attacks still counted as taking a hit for Piki Piiman so it synergized well with these 2 (Okayu casually regenerating back her special while in her special was absolutely hilarious, plus made sense that Okayu benefitted a lot from a Korone item)
Golden Hammer will pop at either level 50 or if you have three collabs made, so you could get a super before hitting 50. Realistically you're more likely to get to 50 for the hammer though. So refreshing to see Holocure from the outside looking in. Really enjoy the thought process and reactions to everything. Looking forward to more!

I'm not sure if this was mentioned, or has been pointed out before so apologies if I'm repeating it: Stickers/Stamps effect applies ONLY to the main weapon, so equipping Dragon's Breath means you're not gonna be triggering the Lifesteal stamp on Korone's punches as much, since the longer ranged sub-weapons are cramping the same space. It's another thing you have to factor in while picking weapons for characters, don't just stick to your old standbys since it might crowd the space for the character's main weapons and skills. Characters like Mori Calliope and Nakiri Ayame have skills that triggers specifically off of their weapons and proximity, so picking zoning/AOE/long range weapons means you're just playing with the sub weapons instead.
In case no one ever told you, fans will know: The Cutting Board and Ball weapons affecting each character differently is directly based on their bust size. So for characters like Calli, Choco and Rhine (big knockers), the balls will be bigger and smaller for flat characters like Gura, Ina and Shion. On the other hand, the Cutting Board is stronger with flat characters. If you check out each girl's model, you'll see which benefits more from each.
I really like that you took the injection type in the Korone run! It makes runs get way more intense! I think the life steal stamp played a big role in negating life loss from the injection type, a (aside for the last bossfight). I usually find maxxed out Choco's horns to be enough to negate said life loss, although that is assuming there's enough of enemies constantly hurling towards you (which you mow down with the +80% DMG, can work well with high crit characters). The injection type isn't always a reliable option, but it makes for really exciting runs >:)
Yes, it's a tricky thing that trips a lot of people until they get used to it. Weapon levels add things to what was already happening in their description, so it's always different. Each level up is a layer, adding to the previous one. Item level ups change values on the previous description, which it displays. Each level up is a power change, so a reduction in negative effects, and/or an increase in positive ones. (Halu acts on that, even if the description doesn't get mentioned for the last two levels.) Skills are more similar to items, but they can often have an extra bonus added on top when you reach level 3.
Characters have synergy with their items. Like Piki Piki Piman is Krone's item that giving HP, other her skills also giving HP, because she is tank-berserk (damage increased when getting hit).
Korone's build is perfect for getting in the head if the Vtuber. You go from knowing nothing about who she is to yelling "GIVE ME YOUR FINGERS!!" or at least actively seeking more yubis. It is hilarious.
Nicely done. Small advice. A few times, you said "I don't want [x]". At that time, using an eliminate is a good idea, so that the item is no longer taking up a slot on level up screens. Better chance to get what you want if the pool is smaller, right?
I actually have taken the Injection Type without any healing items and healing skills and only relied on Eldritch Horror's tiny healing... I somehow survived even with Halu. It's just that I could never have full HP.
The backwards firing stamp is Bae's reference. I don't mind it on some characters, or builds. When I know that I have a strong collab, like tge dragon fire one, I will grab that stamp, since I can then have something to cover my six. I don't know if other people bother with doing that though.
Yeah, sometimes it is not worth it, but sometimes you are coin farming and need the main weapon to hit. Dragon fire kills enemies really fast so you lose on to hit procs if your main weapon aims front.
Ah! At the end there i saw you have Anya unlocked from ID squad 1. She's currently my main, as her playstyle revolves around slowing time and leisurely picking off targets as they get closer. She's very good, and the playstyle is the weirdest i've ever seen
More people should be explaining the references! Asacoco Plug Type is literally a buttplug. Coco was a huge member of JP (but also completely fluent in english), who was basically forced to quit due to controversy over the Hong Kong business at the time of her departure. She went back to her old online persona (Ksonair), where she found even greater success, and is now one of Kiryu's buddies in the Yakuza series, winning a contest to be put into the game and mo-capped in all her RL glory. But here Hololive character Coco was a dragon with a fat tail, and she offered other people access to having the same tail through use of a tail-plug. So yes, that weapon is literally a sex toy from a Hololive member who "graduated" (quit, resigned or was fired)
She wasn't forced to quit. The Plug-in type Asacoco was a plushie ment to resemble a tail plug. The intent was never to be an actual butt plug, despite staff misunderstanding and creating a latex prototype.
Ouch, Milk is arguably the best item in the game. It is rare and almost always worth picking up if you get the opportunity. In this case, it was probably wise not to grab it since you needed the last space for the Gorilla Paw but it always hurts to lose a Milk.

I understand the reluctance, but picking defensive items on a character with built-in healing in their skills feels like wearing supenders and belts. Feels like you're TOO damage-averse, on a character that doesn't have "full health" requirements.
hakos baelz is not only australian, is WAY TOO australian yes, only one super collab at a time since you were going dragon fire you could have left the backwards sticker on the floor, since enemies in front of baelz would have died because of the crit chance and crit damage before the dice would reach them, one of the instances where that sticker works wonders and in case of a final boss not receiving enough damage only from dragon fire, just leave the sticker again on the floor research coat is not good with korone as each upgrade increases the amount of passive exp percentage but as soon as take damage it resets to 1% and korone is designed to TAKE damage yes, breastplate works great with her Piki piki piman aside from being a reference to her, also works great with korone

So, on the Baelz run, the only thing I can probably nitpick here, considering that you are trying to play better by experiencing the game thru discovery, is that you were too conservative on taking weapons. For Bae's special, more weapons = more things to throw at mobs. 😂 As for the mistake during the Korone run, if you really wanna avoid that from happening, there is a strategy for that: On the level up screen, the game gives you a random selection of 4 reward choices to upgrade or obtain. Although what you get from the Level up screen might be random, there is a way to limit the randomness. So here is a general guideline to follow: 1. If you are looking for a specific item, fill all the weapon slots. Max level items and weapons out. 2. If you are looking for a specific weapon, fill all the item slots. Max level items and weapons out. During level up screens, if you have an item slot open when everything, or almost everything, you have is Max level, your choices will be new items. The same is true in the case for weapons.
@deepspacematt3333 I forgot about that. 😅 But yes, ideally, you max the skills too. However, this becomes a non-issue as you play the game since there is another game mechanic that allows you to start runs with all skills maxed out.
Also, as an extended note; say for example that you are looking for 1 item: if all your 5 items are all max level, once you fill up all your weapons slots(irregardless if they are maxed), the Level up screens selections will comprise of: 1st slot: a random chance between a stat upgrade, a weapon upgrade, with a small chance of a new item. 2nd slot: a small chance of a stat upgrade, a likely chance for a weapon, and a small chance of a new item. 3rd slot: high chance for a weapon, as small chance between an item or heal. 4th slot: high chance for a weapon, small chance for an item or holocoins. As you max each weapon, you increase the chance of an item to appear in the selection. And again, the same is true if applied in reverse. Honestly, a lot of people naturally tend to fill items first, and I think it is mostly because they have fewer levels compared to weapons. There have also been cases of people having 5 items, reserving the last slot for super collabs, but then opening a Holozon box expecting an upgrade to weapons or items, only to see a super item appear, putting them in a dilemma. 🤣
There is no way to know for sure without knowing who you are missing and where they come from by just knowing who these people are (which is probably why the creator never thought about it, because he knows) or looking up the complete image somewhere. But all the characters on the home screen are grouped within their own groups. So all of Myth is together, all of Council+Hope is together, etc. So you can narrow it down considerably if you've got someone next to them
The other Super Collab is a healing type so it would have been really good with the build you were going for on Korone Also there's an item you get from Shion which makes the injection type asacoco much more viable
Hakos Baelz generally goes by "Bae", which you pronounce just like the first half a "babe" or literally just the same as the affectionate slang term "bae" and that informs how "Baelz" is pronounced as well (but like I said, nobody actually calls her baelz cause it's an awkward name) Her lore is that she's the "keeper" or "incarnation" of the concept of chaos, hence the focus on randomness and crit in her kit. Her skill that can put enemies upside down both references her being australian but also how she used to like to put her own vtuber model upside down in some streams and especially collabs to represent her chaos affiliation. She's calmed down on that gimmick a bit since. btw regarding crit numbers: White text = 1.0x damage Yellow text = 1.5x damage (regular crit) Orange text = 2x damage (achievable with: Hope Soda crit or first level CRATical) Red text = 3x damage (achievable with: 2nd level CRATical and certain other characters passives) Purple text = 4x damage (achievable with: 3rd level CRATical) (this is not even properly explained in the wiki btw) Also worth noting, CRATical is unique in that it rolls for a regular crit based on your crit chance, and then rolls your crit chance a second time to determine if she does a CRATical crit on top that makes her base crit damage (the 1.5x) deal 2/3/4x times damage *instead*, it does not multiply the extra crit damage you can get via Hope Soda. So the max crit damage Bae can achieve is 450% only. Still, that makes her basically the character with the highest potential damage output, especially if you also build into her Ult.
