i miss when these used to have player names on them. since blizzard takes so long to get rid of cheaters it would be nice to know which usernames i should be keeping an eye out for in my ranked games.
It's not Blizz that changes the names, that's Emongg. Sometimes if someone has an inappropriate name he'll change it to streamer mode to hide it for the video.
He's said before that he does that cause nowadays they use the names to advertise the cheats, and you can follow the names back to the people who make the cheats/they offer like discounts and stuff to get people in. The cheaters sometimes do all of this for publicity/to show how good they work, so some streamers don't show the names any more otherwise it'd be free advertising/giving them a platform.
Many of those cheaters don't cheat to be better but just to mess around. That's literally why some play so abysmally bad. They don't care that they died, they know there was a Cass using High Noon but they simply didn't care about it. You can read it in the many cheater forums where some don't actually want the cheats to rank up and "improve" but just to "lay back and shoot around a bit" or to actually annoy people they face.
They can't just "lay back and shoot around" with their normal aim and gamesense in qp? What about cheats enables them to "lay back and shoot around" better? And if that's the case, why do they crank the aim up some more when they start to lose? Sounds like a convenient excuse to explain why they still suck with cheats to me.
"my duo (moira) and I (mercy) suspect this guy of cheating and we got him the next game, so I (mercy) decide to pocket and damage boost him" Hello ? Why was the reporter of this cheater pocketing the cheater ? ("which was immediately called out by the enemy team") mercy still continues to pocket him. Can we report the player who reported this cheater ?
Stay mad bro. The submitter said they didnt know if they were really cheating. Everyond in metal ranks acusses the enemy for cheating when they get frustrated/mad. Its hard to see your own Teammate cheating unless they are really rage hacking. Just read the submitters comment and you will understand. You probably never had a Cheater on ur game.
hanzo and torb have very similar primary fire projectile patterns, like unironically. i think that's why he swapped torb, to get more consistent damage with the same projectile arc (wouldn't have to adjust settings much)
They should make it so if a player isn't on your screen or nearby it doesn't count to accuracy. Maybe that's too much work but it would be nice if they did
its always funny that cheater go hanzo, cause sometimes they say I got sonar on you and they dont understand that good player can track and see and hear that he dont
Yep, but even when you call it out, they will try to gaslight you. I've had widows do the same with sight, and the dude did not realize, that when you are in stealth as sombra, you can see when sight goes away or when it's up, because you get "revealed" in giant red letters on your screen. It's like, hey bozo, I can literally tell you didn't have sights up.
Your accuracy should not be going down when not shooting near an enemy. I think Blizzard needs to make it work this way, so people can't just tank their accuracy while out of combat.
but the only people caring about that are stats players and they'll be only firing at enemies so their accuracy doesn't get tanked looking at accuracy to detect a cheater is pointless anyway what if they played without cheats at first and their accuracy is normal due to it or what if a player is just good with good accuracy or bad with bad accuracy and finally they can just purposefully miss their aimbot I mean before he went hardcore aimbot mode he was still shooting walls with enemies near it's a useless metric unless you're trying to improve your aim and at that point you will be paying attention to it and it won't matter that it does
I don't get it so the person who submitted it was Mercy and they already suspected them from a previous game & now this game that their on their team and the guy got called out for cheating right away and the person who submitted it still hard pocketed them and would rez them. So they're still just as bad because their SR still means more than anything if their going to hard pocket a cheater who they had in previous games. Even if they weren't "sure" the fact is they already suspected them and the enemy calls it right away and their instinct is still to help them then their no better. Using excuses to make yourself "feel better" is just lame and sad just admit you wanted the win and move on. In the end if you suspected them from a previous game then a group of totally different players in the next game calls them out right away chances are 10+ people arn't wrong and they're cheating especially when you yourself already suspected it so stop making excuses its just lame just don't help that person then.
they mentioned in the submission they were “ suspected “ of cheating but not 100% , some people have good aim and some just blatantly hack like the one we just watched .
My placements were scuffed. Had a DVA do only 609 dmg mitigation with natrix round one, ZERO round two. Also had another game with a pharah throwing a hissy and exploding themselves the entire second round... Im freaking only gold 2, but i don't understand why we're not past this.
i usually wait a couple weeks after the rank reset to do my placements, at midnight on weekdays, OR at times most people are at work. Usually my games are pretty good in the times where there are less players queuing.
Some ppl act like you can see kill cams ON THE SAME TEAM trust me supports got more to worry about them trying to see if the persons cheating, that's also why there's replays, they went and checked after to see for sure.
