I love that you included the last game, (I'm a sc2 novice) it was really cool to see you recognize what he was doing and then explain exactly why your position was so much better, because of the low ground wall and what he was trying to do.
i saw that strat used a few weeks ago at the highes lvl of starcraft 2, 2 top players, and the factory was invisible, holly hell, that was sucha slap in the face. Even producing units, the defender wasn't seeing ANYTHING. The casters were amazed as well, switching view from the whole map to his view only.
this last zerg omg how is he even masterleague. such a bronze thing to do. he had his overlord to scout out that all in wasn't going to work on a walloff.
Today winter sayed: in the past there were three players with an insane reaper micro: byun, uthermal, khelazur. Then he told the story of your reapers against serral ;)
if you DONT make svcs and go straight for 1gas 1 depot 1 barrack you can proxy that factory at exacly 1:20 instead of 20 seconds later and even get a marauder in there with the first mine when they have almost nothing, youll be behind in scv so you have to snowball it and kill them with mine marauders , maibe other factory units as well cause its all in af , its the only way i ever beat gms in tvp lmao
Dropping behind the mineral line forces any units they send to walk to the back of the base to clear them, or if they leave them then it guarantees no mining for the whole duration of turret life
I manage to hit grandmaster sometimes (mostly hit Diamond and Master) with ~60apm. The only reason my apm goes above 60 is because of having to micro my units. Not having to micro anything makes my apm go sub 65. I'm completely fine not having crazy numbers lol
Just click everywhere all the time and number go up ez. APM isn't a great metric. I saw a video about some Russian guy that got to grandmaster with an APM of 60 or less.
