Cosmic brownies were a favorite of mine. I remember as a kid I loved the Little Debbie brownies except I hated the chopped nuts on top. I would sit there and pick all of the nuts off and eat the brownie without them. When cosmic brownies came out, I was psyched because FINALLY the brownie part without the nuts. But now that I'm 34 and have an appreciation for nuts, I actually prefer it the other way around. Instead of brownies with the candy-coated chips, I now prefer my brownies with nuts. It's funny how that happens. I still like cosmic brownies, though.
They can be made into mini muffins. Bake on 375F (190C) (you will not change the temperature) until light golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs, approximately 11-13 minutes. You will get at least 24 muffins. :)
I can't believe I found this recipe! Cosmic brownies are my 6 yr old granddaughter's absolute favorite! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. I can't wait to try it!
Look no further folks, this is the perfect copycat recipe 😋❤️ everyone loved it and was so amazed by how similar (but homemade and delicious!) these were. Perfect consistency, amazing flavor.
I haven’t been watching your videos in quite a while because the weather has been nice out a lot that I have been getting outdoors a lot. I am taking advantage of this hot weather to be outdoors while trying to stay hydrated before those leaves change color & the air becomes more crisp & the days begin to get shorter.
I’m so glad you addressed the “egg” pronunciation. I actually love the way you say it. I am Texan and I try to say it the way you do on every video, but no go! 😅 Luke is soooo cute! Good Partner in Crime with you. 😊
Hey Sam! Thank you for sharing this recipe, and your son is very cute. I was wondering whether I could make this recipe ahead of time and freeze it. My baby will be one next month, and I'm seeking recipes that can be prepared ahead of time and preserved until then. Thank you very much. Take care! 💕
Hi, I don't know if you've ever had one, but Bob's Big Boy had the best brownies. Do you think you could figure out how to make them. I had one when I was in my late teens and never forgot it. So far, any brownie I've ever had hasn't come close to it.
@@SugarSpunRun That;s too bad. It was and in someplaces, still is one of those feel good family restaurants. I wasn't trying to put any of your recipes down or anything, it was just one of those things that stays in your memory.
That would be perfect if she were going to be creaming the butter and sugar. Creaming incorporates air into the mixture to create structure. This recipe (by design) makes a very dense crumb. Using softened butter would not be ideal, whereas melted butter is perfect because she isn't going for a light and fluffy texture (this is also why she only used ayg (this is how I'm saying and spelling it from now on, lol) yolks, no whites. Room temperature butter will never melt completely, you have to add heat, so taking it out of the refrigerator an hour early is a fools errand, as it only adds an unnecessary step.
