@@BulletBarry we’ll start by doing a case swap *proceeds to get a rocket bunny kit custom made* Next is the graphics card *Throws a 969 horsepower LS V8 into the back* And finally a processor upgrade. *Shoves in a 6 speed manual*
I wish more people from your channel remained interested in this more recent content. I love this because I've always wanted to do something *exactly* like this since I was a kid, and to take a huge road trip, and it's so cool to see someone living out that dream for themselves. I love this content because I can tell how passionate you are about it in your videos, please keep this up!
I love the amount of work Adam puts into his projects, I really liked how he didn't want the old screws to show up after he changed the old mirror, it just shows his attention to detail. It's the little things that count into turning this van into the beauty it once was.
I just bought a Vanagon myself. Within the first week, the motor wouldn't turn over (the ignition switch was bad). I tried to access the battery so I moved the seat forward and from then on, the seat was completely stuck in the forward position. After I replaced the ignition switch, the steering column cover would not go on right and it started squeaking like crazy so I just took it back off. The overhead AC duct also fell on my head while I was driving. BUT I TOTALLY GET WHY PEOPLE LOVE THESE THINGS.
Its kind of interesting, the way that you guys fix things, is very different to that of other car channels or ever car people. There are always multiple solutions, but you always seem to take the one which is more entertaining. for example, the custom mirror mount could have just had a universal mirror that sticks onto the windows glass and called it a day. but you went and made a whole thing for it. The only other thing i'd recommend is getting some body filler and matched pain and filling in the holes for the old mirrors, rather than hiding it. Otherwise, great video Barry.
so happy to see you doing well barry, just remembered about your channel today after you having been my favorite for ages, didnt expect to see you fixing a t3, lovely wee vans
Good part about those new LEDs (i assume they're LED by the color and brightness but i could be wrong) is that they don't run as hot, and will generally (given the right conditions) last a whole lot longer than those yellow ones.
im enjoying the van content. these videos inspire me to start my own big DIY project, and to get a stocked garage like adam has. hes a wizard. good luck to u both
BARRY! If you wanted to get more people on the journey across the lands in this van, I would recommend starting a tiktok. Just an idea, love your content!
Man you definitely get less views on non console peasant quotes videos even though the videos are still amazing quality Edit: I actually edited this twice but I’m actually saving up for a trailer from 2007 that is fully furnished with kitchen and bathroom and bed and chairs I’m also saving up for a used truck so that I can move it whenever Im Really excited for it
Hey barry, when you finish the van where are you going to travel only in america or agreeing you going to go to places in canada or Mexico aswell. Anyway, great job and i love your vids
"Working with a guy who doesn't half ass his work" Adam literally does everything dude you've done nothing at all xD You're watching him work, not "working with him"
Yeah, but he does such a great job capturing the work, I don't even have to think about lining up shots or anything, he just magically intuits where I'm going to go next and gets all the good stuff without ever being "in the way". And then there is the editing ::chefs kiss::
@@AdamNDJ seems reasonable, but when it does hit the inherent headgasket issue you should get a turbo motor or just get the turbo motor and not run the turbo if he is worried about mileage
You spent so much time making sure the windows couldn't be opened from the outside to make the van secure, but forgot that if someone wants to break in they can LITERALLY break in, it's still glass lol
True, but a lot of crimes of opportunity are thwarted by simple security. Plus some insurances won't cover theft if there isn't any signs of forced entry.
@@AdamNDJ I get your point, but most thieves aren't even gonna bat an eye at a hippie van, hippies don't have money and same goes for potheads in general, so I'm sure Barry will be fine:p
