We think you understand what we’re trying to create since day one, and we love you for that. Can’t wait to meet you in real life. You will always be welcome. All the love 🩶
I only discovered Resolve like a year ago but they’ve quickly become one of my favorite bands. Just incredible musicians, songs writers and people from what I can tell. Wish them all the success, selfishly so we can get a US tour one day 😅
Good to see someone as giddy for this album as I was/am. This band is doing things that need to be done. They are the literal pinnacle of the manifestation of Metalcore. Anthony's vocals are simply incredible, the drums are monstrous, the riffs impeccable, and the ambient nature of the music is what this world has been missing. Stellar album. I haven't been this excited since Novelists put out Souvenirs.
They just never disappoint. Super down to earth humans, chatted with them after a gig in Karlsruhe (GER) for 30 min and took so many pics and also picks
Incredible range on this album. What a journey. Can't hardly pick a song I'd go re-listen to because the album deserves to be re-listened to in its entirety. Amazing.
They said there is something for everyone in this album and it's very true, they managed to try a bunch of new things and still make it cohesive! And as you say, it's just such a fun album to listen! It will definitely be in my top this year!
Invent is just out of competition 😌 But there have been some really good albums. Moreover, I can't honestly recall a year when that many of my favorite bands dropped an album
This personally is an AOTY contender for me. Nothing can hold a candle to BMATM because that album is an 11/10 one of the best debuts of any band. But this album gets so dang close and has easily some of the best songs of Resolve's career. But I also don't believe that this band is trying to make another BMATM, that are expanding and making a new experience. And that's what I love about this album. 9.8/10
It's always contagious to see someone being so happy and amused, then just blown away by an album like this. All singles were unbelievebly good, now when you listen to the entire thing it just makes sense. In Stone, Confortably Dumb are standing out even tho every songs are amazing. And I can't even speak about Moonchild which is simply perfect as a song, and especially as an ending song. I'll easily call it AOTY hands down, without a doubt. It has absolutely everything and not trying to prove anything, so it just does it anyway. It's not better or worse than Between Me And The Machine but it'll be even more memorable in my opinion. Besides you speaking way too much during In Stone, the most sad and beautiful track of the album (you were elected to cry not to speak lmao), it was great to watch your reaction! I've been following Resolve since day one, i live in the next city and have seen them a bunch of times and boy am I hyped for the next show with the new songs on their France headlining tour in 1 month. Resolvecore/10
While I did enjoy BMATM from them, this album definitely sits higher for me. There were a couple songs on the previous album that just never gripped me, but every song on Human just hits SO GOOD. Thanks for the reaction!
This is without a doubt my album of the year. Absolute perfection from start to finish, not a bad minute on the whole album. Continuum is my favorite i think.
I sincerely enjoyed this album significantly more than between me and the machine. Although bmatm was what got me into resolve, sonically, tonally and just the overall structer of this album i can't get enough of. Fantastic work and amazing album
Tdws is just something that keeps me going. Definitely the best this year but so far between invent animate, resolve, and silent planet. they are right there with it.
I had high hopes and they delivered, putting it in my top 5 albums this year for sure, glad to be french and about to see them for the second time this year next month
Saw Landmvrks last night and self made black hole reminded me I needed to check out this album and man it’s such a great record. Can’t wait for when I get the chance to see these guys live
This album is sick. I only just found it recently and I adore it I definitely love Currents and IA a bit more but this album was refreshing, and very enjoyable, especially Bloodlust
i made 700 kms to be at the first Human Tour show. That was INCREDIBLE. You really need to see them and experience this guys live in full. So damn worth it!
New Colors seems so out of place with how grand it is, but that's just a funny quip to me. Really good album, Bloodlust is my favorite from the non-singles.
Bro you absolutely need to do an album review for the new War of Ages album, "Dominion". Such an amazing album from start to finish. I remember you did a song review of theirs a couple years back. I have a feeling you'd really enjoy this one. One of my favorite albums of the year for sure.
This year has been insane.... we might get a new Vildhjarta album near the end of September - it'll be the 10 year anniversary of Thousands of Evils... The AOTY is so hard to pick.....
Aw, you didn't immediately like New Colors like Moonchild on Spotify, mean :D But for real; I also immediately thought New Colors is more the title track of the album.
I really - really - loved Between me and the Machine, but this one just didn't worked out so much for me. Similar thing to Heaven in Hiding by imminence, amazing singles, but only left fillers in the album. Anyway, I still love them.
One of the best songs. It has some sort of "nostalgic but moving on" vibe with the goal of gathering people together, with both beautiful lyrics and the choirs when approching the end. And what an ending, powerful, chaotic, simple. Just perfect *chef's kiss*
Weird thought: I feel like we're witnessing a transition period for the band. I loved this album at times, but sometimes i was a little bored. I was impressed with the experimental elements of this album... but there were some generic moments (instrumentally) and I feel we've caught them as theyre shedding some of their generic metalcore skin (which worked perfectly for them during their first album) and finding a new sound - I hope they don't just become another arena rock band like Architects did (*puke*), but instead dig into their proggy and experimental side as they have at times during this album. I'm keen to hear what they produce a few albums from now. Anyway, I'm drunk and just stoked Tesseract and Resolve released new albums the same weekend. 😅
This album was good, but for me personally it didn't quite hit the mark. The singles were solid, but they were probably the best songs on the album if you ask me. BMATM was definitely better. Polaris I think still holds the AOTY title for me.
I'm definitely the outlier here but i found most of the non singles boring. Bloodlust and comfortably dumb are cool but the rest really disappointed me.
Personally, I thought it was one of the more boring albums released in the scene this year. Really couldn't get into most of the non-singles. The vocalist is so good, but isn't versatile enough for me to dig for an entire album. For me, an additional vocalist (like one of the other members doing back-up) would be great. Thought it was a bizarre choice to not include the features on the album version of Older Days, as well. Then again, to each their own - glad you and others enjoyed. Just not for me. I'll edit to add some positive vibes - New Colors is one of the best songs of the year.
@@nicksevenow Yeah, you never know, maybe I will come around to like it with another run through or two. It's not like I hate it or anything, I'm just not captivated by most of the album.
@@warningthisproductcontains3837 Agreed. As someone who didn't listen to them much before, I felt like I'm listening to MMF with how generic the last album sounded to me. Just my opinion of course.
