Dang Nagoya has the best stuff, such an underrated area, I’m thinking of moving to Gifu area just cause it’s so underrated, and food would be great cause I also try to hit as many food joints on my hunts too lol

I always felt bad for the games in the junk section adam. I mean they look like they just throw then in a large container and just left there without any care in the word. Despite that the junk section is the most amazing place to search into because you never know what to expect. Some are great finds, some are just average, but the mystery inside the bends are what makes it all tempting to observe inside to find the unexpected. 8^) Thank you for sharing this with us brother man. 8^) Anthony..

Oh yeah, I went to this on back in December. The older guys who work there are really nice. Always helpful. You'll laugh but I bought Nichibutsu Super Mahjong from here, but I like mahjong (someone has to) and it was very cheap boxed for the SFC...

That pc-engine shuttle!!!! I did buy one about 22yrs back, brought it to korea but forgot it when i moved out of my apt *it was in a closet* came back and it was gone. T.T I really need to get another...108$ is a great price. Its VERY hard to find a boxed one now.

I remember going to a HUGE hardoff in shizuoka about 11-12 yrs back. They had a ton of old systems, even a bunch of old famicom disk systems. Shoot myself in the arse for not picking one up.

Ja, Noon är inte ett spel folk brukar leta efter, men jag tycker att det är ganska coolt. Men den riktiga potentialen ligger nog i att spela 3-4 personer. Rätt anarkistisk version av att matcha färger när alla springer runt och förstör för varandra samtidigt.

That is a fantastic location brother. I would have bought all of the GBA/SP/Micro, Famicom JR., PC Engine Shuttle, and PSX which I could have fixed it easily. My wallet is saved but man I was pointing and shouting at the screen Great hunt!

But there is a Vib Ribbon ps2 I would love and mr mosquito lol 😊😂 Never seen Sega Mark 2😮 6:38 is that the price ps1 with screen? Always wanted the screen 😊 space pc engine is cool. Japan Kirby air beat to grab there and kid Dracula I could never get it on ebay from Canada definitely one to grab also for gameboy price is great there that’s around $20 cad. And SEGA Mark consoles are hard to come by, even in Japan I would say. Yes! Ive always wanted the official Sony screen for PSone as well. Its so neat :D Yep, good stuff! And thank you. I always try to improve the quality of the videos all the time haha! It felt like a heavy big cake lol PSvita another time and Im still thinking of that gold PS2. So cool!!

I love Kid Dracula on the Castlevania Collection on the PS4 and it's translated as well. I need to jump back in and finish it. I like that it feels like a spoof of the Castlevania games and it so much fun. Einhander is great, played that on PS1 as I love shooters and need to revisit that game and very cool you found a physical copy for both that games at a great price. I really like the artwork for Famicom is great and so much better than the US carts in my opinion. I was surprised to see a Neo Geo CD copy of Metal Slug for such a high price. It's a great game but don't hate me for saying this but for me Contra is the king of run and gun games. 😋 It's always great to see the retro game stores in different countries that you go to. If you run into Scruffy Looking RGB, tell him that Ed from the Evercade Effect says hi. 😉

I've heard a lot about Einhänder but tried it out the first time ever a few days ago. Just as good as I imagined. Loved it! Yea Im satisfied with the pickups, but there were so much more I couldve bought. But I can always go back! Yea, that Metal Slug looked pretty much mint. And when games are like brand new, Japanese stores love to put the prices higher. Honestly, I'm a bit more of a Contra person as well I think haha! But MS games are incredible too. Glad you liked it, man! I will definitely say hi from you to Scruffy whenever I meet him :D

Awesome! If your time is limited and theres no HARD OFF store nearby, definitely go for Suruagaya then! Selection is not as big as Super Potato but still big enough for most tourists. And prices are way better.

Easiest way is just to search in Maps or Google for ”Hard Off Kanie”. And it will pop up. Theres only one store in that place. Good luck!

damn that gold ps2 for $70 some was ultra deal bro, no nuts you shouldve gotten it i wouldve. As well as a much of those $1 games, luckly they dont have neck beards out in japan yet to drive up the prices of retro games reselling them. I know if they had a junk area like that here resellers would clean out those bins to resell those $1-2 games for $10-20 each no joke im not kidding.

Yeah dude! If there was one thing I was thinking about going away from that store, it was the gold PS2! I didnt even know it existed. So cool! Oh yea I know. Thats true. And to be honest, there are definitely less resellers in Japan. But I have seen an increasing number of Japanese resellers this year and last year. Before that, I only saw business men buying a nice item for themselves after work.

Crazy price indeed, though it's not the normal version but a a limited variant cover version given to Konami shareholders. The fact that it's factory sealed probably helped the price skyrocket.

But you cant ignore the fact that greedy westeners are already flooding ebay and local retro game stores with japanese consoles and games! I been in the scene for quite over 10 year now and i never seen this many japanese retrogames being sold in my country from normal ppl on the internet. For example, ppl been selling japanese Pokemon games complete in box for HUNDREDS here, even though we all know they are maybe like 10, 15, 30 bucks at most in a hard off, lol. Junk Gameboys, Junk DS consoles, ... seen it all here being fliped for dumb high prices compared to hard off prices! The carziest thing i have seen so far is a japanese Mario 64 in box being sold for 800usd in a local gamesstore with the hardoff price tag still on it, HAHA!! 600yen it was originally and it was a generic ass Mario 64 that you find tons of in Japan still.

@NinjaChris77 Yea you got some valid points here. And theres also a difference between a collector and a reseller. I bought 2 games from this store and not everything that was a good deal to flip. But I understand reseller will see this and go there... but like @xTHETRAINx said, its too late now. So many HARD OFF videos floating around on RU-vid. And bigger youtubers promoting for Sendico "Hey, buy these Japanese games, theyre cheap!" Also. Akihabara and Game stores in Japan has been a tourist attraction for many years. Long before RU-vid even was a thing.
