You guys ....🤣🤣 I loved this episode of RV life .. and you are both so naturally funny had me s Laughing from the off .. I can see you guys in stage or writing a book about your journey too ❤️😍 I am beyond excited for New England ... If I ever set foot in the USA it would be either Oregon or New England 😍😍😍 My one and only complaint is that you don't upload daily 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 for an hour each time haaaaaaaa
Hi Claire! Your comments always bring us huge smiles and a laugh! Scott has been writing a lot and I’m encouraging him to write a book 😉. An hour long every day?! You are crazy 😜 😂. We love you Claire!
Love you guys!! Too funny... Wish I could mark specific spots along the video with laugh emojis. There would be many. Be safe and looking forward to your adventures. Would love for you to show us your artwork if possible. Your photography is awesome.
Recognition is just great 😊 and I hope you asked for discount being so famous 😌 The more serious you try the funnier it gets. We have a couple of recognised comedy RVers for sure. I really enjoyed the entire video 💗😂💫
Oh you guys!!! Good luck on the east coast!! The interstates are the roughest in the country!! Rolling earthquake!! Batten down the hatches and full speed ahead!
Hi from California, we just found your channel about a week ago and have been binging on all your video's catching up on your adventures. We have subscibed and are looking forward to all your new adventures to come. We love the fact that you are both easy to relate too, real and funny. Thank you for sharing your adventures here on RU-vid, be looking forward to the next one!
Hello! So nice to connect! We love hearing from our followers! And it’s comments like this that keep us going! We appreciate it more than you know! More adventures coming soon 😉🤗
I had the same problem. Sorry, but bleach 1/2 cup in fresh water tank. Rinsed like 3 times. Beach smell gone and no rotten egg smell. I'm now a happy camper!🙂
Definitely our most expensive travel! But glad we are doing it because you never know if you’ll get another chance! Appreciate you Allan and hope you are well!
Hello-really enjoyed watching the latest video, so went back and watched the previous. Ya'll are keeping it real-love the truth-yea i pulled out the plug before releasing the pressure!! Mind if i ask you want engine your F250 has? How does it pull your RV?
When you connect the Viair to the truck battery, be sure the truck is running while you use the compressor. I have removed the anode rod from the water heater under pressure and lived. It will get better.
“You know how some of those RU-vid channels tell you about helpful RV things to do and not to do? Yeah well we’re not one of those.” THIS!! This is why we love you guys! Keeping it real, in the real world. Can’t wait to see New England through your video’s!! We hope to get up that way and into Canada next summer!
Hi Julie! So happy you “get” us 😂. Just fumbling our way through over here! We are so close to Canada! You will have so much fun. Appreciate you watching and making our day with your comment 🤗
So glad y'all didn't get seriously hurt when that thing popped! Matthew said, glad we have an on-demand water heater and don't have to mess with that, LOL 😂Matthew loves his ViAir but has not taught Shion how to use it yet. Shion would probably keep letting the air out too, LOL 😂 ~ Shion and Matthew
Hi guys! I have a new found appreciation for the idea of on demand water heaters now! Still stinks! I think Shion needs a video of the tire inflation process next 😉😂
My Viair requires me to turn the vehicle on...so the batteries are charging... in order to get max air pressure through the hose. If I don't turn the vehicle on, I get less than half the pressure through the hose
remove the anoid rod , thats the first thing our plumber removed , when plumbing our house so we removed ours in our pusher , worked like a charm, house one ,tank lasted 15 years , just replaced because of age
"You know those RV channels where they show you how to do everything with your RV?" "This isn't one of those." Classic!! BwaaHaa ha ha!! I can totally relate.. That hot water heater is a super drag tho, can you replace the tank? wth? That anode being fried already is somewhat quizzical, you might want to replace the whole thing.. I had one catch fire on me.. if it wasn't for my neighbor it coulda gone bad. Just saying a clean anode and the peroxide shoulda cleaned that smell up I think your heater has an issue.. sure you thought of that already but.. Maybe your dealer will help you out since your famous and you just got the rig??
Hello! Glad we could make you laugh 😉. We still haven’t solved the problem and that’s scares the yikes out of me thinking if it catching fire! I’m glad your situation wasn’t worse! The dealer hasn’t helped us from day one, so may be calling Vanleigh directly since they always send us parts?! Appreciate you watching and your thoughts!
Cmon Scott how long you been married? wifey is always right.🤣😀 Seems like there is way to much to have to remember and do for seniors to enjoy RV life.
Exactly! 😂. Scott will be chuckling as he reads these 😉. It sure is a lot and certain tasks are even difficult for us! Appreciate you as always and hope you are great!
I had the rotten egg smell in both my RV (when filled from home) and house. I found out it was caused by a reaction between the anode and the excessive hard water of my well. I ended up cutting off the anode on both my house and RV water heater and this solved the problem. The anode is supposed to "save" the tank from corroding but my house water heater has been this was for 15 years with no problem.
So glad you didn't experience a scalding burn or anything. Wowsa! I love hot showers but maybe not that kind. 🤣 We are sad that your Great Lakes route had to be postponed but we look forward to watching your New England adventures. Such a great place to experience autumn. Just look out for those crazy tolls! Safe travels! ❤️
Tgge absolute worst is have the others two tanks hit you . From 1978 I learned about mustard . If you burn yourself regardless how the water put the mustard glob on for 10min and do it another three to four times . Get rid of the burn like it never happened. Have fun .
Wow Scott I so glad you weren't hurt with that little mishap, but l'm sad you guys aren't doing the Great lakes because l'm a Michigander maybe could have hooked up for for dinner would love to meet you guys oh well maybe next time. Have fun on your journey as always and be safe.
Hi Penny! Oh yes, we learned a lesson for sure! Oh that would have been fun to meet! Hoping to make it up there another time though 🤗. Hope you are doing great!
Thank you Tim! It’s always a relief to hear someone thinks I’m funny, because I’ve received a lot less flattering comments 🤨. Appreciate you watching and making my day with your kind words!
Do yourself a favor and buy a different filler stem for your dually. I wish I could send you a picture. Look for Milton S-693-12 1/4" FNPT Extended Reach Dual Head Air Chuck
The Big Question is how did you get around the rules you have to have a home address for your vehicle registrations when you sold everything and traveling ?
We love to learn from your mistakes 😂😂 Glad you are ok! Wait it’s not righty tighty 🤯 You are letting out more than your putting in 🤣 You guys are cracking us up 🤣 Loved the video! Safe travels!!! 🥰
Give vinegar a try in the water heater. We do 50/50 vinegar/water and let is soak for 24 hours. This will dissolve all the calcium. We always make us laugh!
For the Viair .. instructions say to “run” the engine while using the pump. We have the same model and having the truck idle makes a difference. And yes we have the diesel with dual alternator option on our ford
It depends on the inflation fitting but I find that I have to remove the locking nut from the valve stem to keep it from leaking while I inflate the tires. This is necessary every time because my TPMS sensors do not turn on until I go about a 1/4 mile down the road. The motion turns them on. Also I have noticed that that I gain 5 - 8 lbs when the tires warm going down the road.
My husband are originally from Cincinnati, however, we’ve spent the last 7 years in Colorado and LOVED IT! We’re back in town visiting our family and grandchildren. How to meet you down the road sometime. We’ll be in Florida for our first winter. Great channel! We watched all of your videos!
I'm thinking reading those directions might have been a good idea. Lol... Scott, Harry says I do the same over the shoulder thing...really...nah not me!! Will try to get those ruts filled before you come back next year. Much docking repairs on the list. Thanks for the laughs. Love you
Tammy you are a hoot and a blast to watch. Scott remember Happy Wife Happy Life. I do enjoy watching you 2. You put out great content. Thanks for sharing your travels.
Hi David! It didn’t start until well after we were back? We’ve attempted another peroxide treatment with more for longer but it still came back. Hopefully, someone will have another solution for us to try! Thank you for your feedback!
@@TilFurtherNotice ok, I thought u had it less then that , but still haven’t seen one that bad in a years time , But again you must go to a lot of campgrounds with a lot of well water, which is not really conditioned at all, so there’s multiple scenarios that could lead to it I just I’ve never seen one so quickly go down to nothing like that , have a great weekend
@@fuzion430journey3 thank you Dennis. Good to get your feedback! Once we get somewhere with full hookups I think we need to clean and flush everything again too. It’s all a learning process
Remember.....your always right except for the times your wrong. It's great that y'all can work together even though someone is always partially wrong. It's called buddy work. Keep the videos coming.
Hello from your new fans, Tim & Nancy, your neighbors up north. By the way, Tim has agreed to be Gracie’s god father. I’m still a bit jealous. Happy and safe journeys to you both. Great meeting you.
Hello you two!!! So nice to hear from you! Gracie is also missing Tim 😂. She has not had that reaction to anyone else here 😉. We’d love to keep in touch and hear about your adventurers! Travel safe and enjoy every moment!
Try vinegar in your tanks. I use it to get scented soap smells out of my washer when family uses it and not my unscented. Good luck as nothing worse than a smell you can't get away from 🤞
That was hilarious!! Hope you did'nt hurt the rv too bad. Good you guys always check and double check before travel. I just love that Scott can fix and do anything. Safe travels!
Love the Viair definitely makes life traveling easier. Looking forward to the New England video! And great taste in shirts my daughter has that same shirt
What ever you use to get the smell out of the water heater you need to leave it in the tank for a while, like overnight at least. You guys are funnier than the Bickersons. Do not remove the anode rod like some will tell you, the rod is in there to sacrifice instead of the tank. Be safe.
Thrills my heart to see how you guys throw around humor and back and fourth and still laugh together, believe me we all are laughing also!!! Tammy your so talented 😄 . So glad your both feeling better. Looking at all that mud you really had to power wash the belly!! Be safe 😇💌
Hi Robin! Thank you for always brightening our day with your comments! Scott and I are the best of friends 😉 that mud was awful and we are still dirty from it! Need to do another wash once we get somewhere to do it! Thank you and we hope you are well 🤗
I hope all has been going good I've been doing kind of okay been having a lot of problems trying to button things up and find the help that I need so I can move out of state I hope the weather where are you guys are is fair and good it's been raining in Alaska seems like for almost a month off and on straight looking forward to Florida and getting rid of the old ties in Alaska and making new friends and memories tell we chat again God bless and be safe out there
You two ALWAYS make my day!! I really do learn alot from you and get some chuckles, or really laughs out loud. It's perfect I always enjoy and am so happy when a new video pops up on my feed. Have a wonderful and safe trip and when you do make it to the Great Lakes I'll give you a heads up on the must see.. ❤
Thank you Diana for also making our day much brighter with your kind comments! Means more than you know and it makes us feel good to help people laugh a bit 😉🤗
