Guys, I've read comments criticizing my choice of things to bring. That's fine, you are entitled to your own opinion. But I think you're missing the point. I am not in any way suggesting to bring the EXACT things. If I say water, it can be ANYTHING that can carry water. If I showed my tire pump, it can be any source that can inflate your tires. If I say flashlight, it can be ANYTHING that can provide light aside from your phone. Don't get me wrong. I appreciate all of your suggestions of the "better" alternatives. Fee free to do so but please be reminded that people also have their own personal preferences. 😉 Cheers!
Based on my solo riding experience, the # 1 item you should bring is cash. A lot of cash. The more the better. Kung may cash ka, kahit anong nalimutan mo ikarga, pwede mo bilhin along the way. Kahit na complete breakdown ng bike mo, kung may cash ka, pwede mo ikarga bike mo all the way back home or to the nearest tormots repair shop. HTH. Salamat po. Ride safe and enjoy your adventure-rides.
I was also going to say the powerbank and some like that can jump your bike if the battery dies. I would also add to bring a toothbrush toothpaste, baby wipes, and extra clothes ; )
Salute sayo Boss! Forget about people who does not know safety procedures. Go for it mas maraming riders na educated na di lng sarili nila iniintindi nila. SALUTE , MORE POWER!
Hi sir JT. Alam ko di mo responsibility ang ibang motorcycle riders pero sana mag release ka ng video of how to ride safely, proper handling, timing, defensive driving, blind spot, when to overtake, etc... Yun kasi kulang sa marami, Seminar. This video might save lives. Thanks and Goodluck in the future.
agree ako jan sir JT. yan talaga ang mga dapat dalhin especially on long rides. we see to it that we bring those things during our long rides. thanks sir JT marami kaming natututunan sa u.
> Medicine Kit, like gamot for LBM and headaches. > Hose na kahit 1.5ft na taas. pang sipsip ng gas sa kasama pag naubusan. > and also Duct Tape. daming magagamitan ng duct tape.
Putting in sealant in your tires is never a bad decision. It saved me a lot of trouble for a dozen times already. Expiration is 1 year I believe, I am not sure though. Great video, JT! Sustenance for your own body is a must, water and snacks should always be there whether it is a short ride or a long one. Thumbs up!
Ndi lng s pngsarili ntin s ibang kariders din ntin n ndi maiiwasang mdaanan ntin s kalsada n pwde nting mtulungan in case n mron accident. 👌👌👌👌👌 Nathan Bernz ur new subscriber 😘😘😘
Suggestion on your pump battery.. Instead of taking them off all the time. Pwedeng lagyan mo nalang ng masking tape on one contact.. them put them in. or maybe a piece of paper. para tanggal kabit pwede.
Sir FYI lang po! you need to be a licensed radio operator from NTC to be able to use a hand held radio, kelangan nyo muna mag exam from NTC, once you are a licensed you also need to register your radio sa NTC, FYI NTC lang ang pedeng mag confiscate ng mga illegal radio, illegal radio means hindi kayo licensed to operate and hindi registered ang radio nyo. FYI madalang lang naman mag check point ang NTC of course it is always accompanied by the police. Added info lang sir thank you, because someday we wil be joining you in the future ni CIC, hehehe.
I can add ropes in your list... handy sya pang tali kung may di inaasahang dalhin or pang tali s motor mo kung ayaw na talagang umandar.. pde rin idagdag yung kandado pang secure ng mga gamit example helmets kong d madala.. or pang lock dn s motor..
Hi and Hello!!! Di pa ako nakakapag "long" ride pero I always bring may powerbank, raincoat, at since may power outlet yung adv ko bumili ako ng adapter. :)
tama un bgo nyo pagandahin ang motor mo or lagyan ng kung ano anong accessories o r modefication ng motor, eh bumili k mun ng mga protective gears..dagdag pampapogi din yun.suporta s srili mo.kya tama yun sir helmet mun dpt..ung branded like Ls2.
You covered the whole 9 yards on the dot! You're a squared away man. I'm hoping to go riding with you someday brother! Thanks for your upbeat blog. Keep it coming! JOJO
Dagdag ng extra wires, electrical tape, fuse, led light at screws and bolts.. mahirap na masiraan ng ilaw sa daan lalo na kung solo long ride at gabi.. nangyari sakin pauwing bicol from manila.. buti nlng may dala ako 😂 dilim pa naman sa quezon
Thanks sir JT sa pakikinig sa akin suggestion.I'm doing that for ten years sta.ana manila to pagsanjan laguna alone kumbaga solo rider,my first and last epic ride is camsur with my co messenger.I'm using YAMAHA YBR 125 pro yamaha since I'm started to learn ride motorcycle, motorcycle ,I'm using first Yamaha y2g,second RS100,RX100,third DT125 and last YBR125.sayang lang na late ako feb ako umalis ng pilipinas
Good video but I would like to add to take 1st aid training to be prepared for incidents and to properly know how to use your 1st aid kit. Likewise to get your NTC amateur radio license . If you are using VHF radio without a license is against the law and a policeman in a checkpoint can take advantage of that. My tips on the matter.
I suggested to bring extra interior sa motor bro JT, bka d kya sa patsi ang tire nyu sa subrang laki ng hiwa..na experience ko n yan marikina to palayan Nueva Ecija.. God bless bro..
Nice tips however, you can find way smaller USB rechargeable air compressors instead of that monster kick-pump to inflate your tyres! You can for instance search on Aliexpress and get them with reasonable price. Takes little space, no hassle and very portable device. As for torch, you you are better off with a light source that you wear on your head because you will then have both your hands free to do the work you need to do on your bike. When it come to powerbank I find it useful to have a powerbank and a jump startkit combined in-one, again to save space and yet have dual purpose when you need to jump start a "dead battery".
Those portable electric inflators are unreliable. I tried it before and it's very faulty. A friend even blew up a fuse using it. You're better off with something that does not rely on electricity. That's why mechanical ones are always better, especially that I have enough storage for it. I was suggesting a flashlight in general and not this particular one. The one I had was a rechargeable one but it got busted recently. Yup, the strap on is a better choice. 🙂
I use a USB recharchageable portable inflator which has a built in battery and is self contained meaning there is no need to be concerned about blowing any fuse because it can be charged from the power outlet off the wall or a any power bank. I find it reliable, vert portable and no hassle. :) Anyway, I just love anything that would make me use less muscle effort when I make any repairs :)
Add ko lang sa First Aid. Magdagdag ng "Branded" tourniquet, LAST RESORT para pigilan ang severe bleeding just incase naputol ang kamay o paa dahil sa accidente.
thanks very informative you know i only knew through your vlog damo nga salamat from leyte hope to join your trips someday siguro pag retire na ako hahahaha more power to you bro
its funny to see this vid after my long solo ride... you are correct, dapat sana nakita ko to bago ako nag attempt... malaking tulong sana... almost didn't make it. not once but twice...
here my advice if I'm allowed, kasi nakapag long ride na, from davao region to NCR, solo. At babalik pa ng Davao in May siguro.. be prepared *physically *mentally *financialy *spiritually unahin ko nalang pagmention yung mga maling ginawa ko for the preparation: *wala akong flashlight "I was never going to ride at night anyway" *wala akong tire repair kit "brandnew at ilang araw pa lang yung gulong ko" *wala akong dalang water container "Bumibili lang ako ng mineral water along the way" *wala akong first aid kit "no excuse" *wala akong dalang tire pump "pwede akong maka run flat for 55km, tested narin" *nagmamadali ako sa byahe " nabiktima tuloy ng Tvirus" *target ko 2days, kahit alam ko na 3 days minimum yun. *breaking my personal rules during traveling, bending siguro yung other term. *bumili ako ng rain coat design for riding motorcycle *bumili ako ng padding, riding gears, gloves *bumili ako ng drybag 40L "a very wise desition also" dun naka lagay fullsize laptop ko. Monday traffic, first time na dadaan sa EDSA, or any major highway sa manila na nakamotor. As in first time in Manila riding a motorcycle.... yan lang muna... Sniper150black.(bisaya)
Nice video. Too bad mahigpit masyado si commander-in-chief kaya di ako makapag long ride sa motor ko. I've always wanted to go back to Catanduanes because it's my father's hometown. Napakaganda don so you'll definitely enjoy your ride lalo pa't sementado na raw yung maraming lugar don na dati 5 hours on rough road naming dinaanan from San Andres port going to Pandan. Ride safe! Hope to meet you guys some day in your Motour Meet and Greet at makasama kahit sa mga quick rides nyo even if I'll have to travel from Santa Maria Bulacan. Thanks.
