I love this pattern! I am disabled after being involved in a car accident in 2016. I like to craft and crochet to try and get my mind off of the constant pain. However, I need easy and only 1 or 2 repeating rows. The pain makes it difficult to concentrate. I am a very visual learner and appreciate the way you explain and demonstrate the patterns. Crystal, I always watch your videos but particularly glad I saw this one. You have shown me why my ribbing, done like this one, always comes out wavy and bigger than the item I am adding it too (so I usually end up doing the front post/back post one... which I do like I must admit... but I wanted to master this one .... When I slip stitched into the main body of the work I was adding the ribbing to I immediately went back up again. I see you slip stitch to the work THEN slip stitch into the next stitch..... This is THE BEST demo of this technique I have ever seen so I get it now. Thank you

I know that making blankets is not your favorite thing, but I am so happy that you did this tutorial because I want to make a very simple, full-size blanket for my sons in-laws as a gift but I haven't been crocheting since my husband passed and I need something very simple. I have watched other tutorials but always liked yours better. I have finally decid3d why I like your's better. You have more of a closeup of your work. ( Your hands and the yarn). Als0, you go slower so I can easily see what you are doing. Some t3bachers on YouTub teachers go so fast I tend to think thet are trying to show me how fast they are, 8nstead of showing me where the hook goes. Plus, you always explain directions very well. Thank you for your excellent teaching. I do love this stich and boarder. Such a lovely blanket!
