Not sure if the sharp edge is worth mentioning. What really is a bad design are the AC controls that don't have backlit LEDs. If it is dark you don't see shit so you either have to find the AC controls in the infotainment system or you press the touch buttons until you find the correct AC button.
Its only one click on the corner of the screen you dont need to swipe at all Or use voice control. It works ok for both sides. But I also would prefer additional backlight. Passenger seats have electrical control's with memory ( if you bought those). The trim has no fake wood its fake brushed aluminum. Strange video.
It is not correct comparing this car to an s3 or golf r due to the fact that it is a small-mid size crossover. The correct comparison is with car GLA, Q3, X2, t-roc/Tiguan ecc… Great car btw!
I just bought the vzx and have had it on the 1/4 mile timed accurately and did 12.71 with launch control For another $1300 tune extra 100 hp which is on the cards.
I drive it and love it. It's thirsty as hell tho, I drive it a lot apart from coomon route from work and back, my town is tourist town so I do get stuck in traffic from time to time and my consumption is around 12l/100km ( few days ago I got stuck in heavy traffic and it was 22 Liters at speeds of 20km/h)
Funny you mention that. Unlike in modern VWs, the steering wheel controls are very good in that car, as they are still buttons. Infotainment is easy to use, but the climate controls are embedded in it, so that is the real bad things about the formentor.
Once you know how it works it's easy to operate the touchscreen. I've got a leon fr sport with pretty much identical interior. Going for a formentor next
@@ProductReviewCars I took a second look again and the rear and below the rear window, it seems like they quickly showed a V6 lettering or V6 symbol. So there we go
@@MrTurboRotary there's no cupra model with a V6, the lettering you have seen is probably the trim level which goes up to VZ5. all formentor models come with either a 1.4, 1.5 or 2.0 engines
It's cheaper than Vz5 and it gives more play than it seems 1 Repro ok .. and you already have your Vz5 even more... It's okay that with the Vz5 you can do the same but it also costs a lot more 🫰.. I know 1 with AteCa 2019 and 580 hp 🤭🤭🙈😌🥳
@@antop4597 A good Donwpipe, some good exhausts outside the fap... you'll see how good it sounds😌😌😁 apart from the fact that the Vz5 is almost twice as expensive as the CuPra AteCa/Formentor 310... I almost have 76% of what the house is worth. .🥳🙈
@@tiojor7325 that is true, but then again most people who have the higher end ones are financing them, which then is a ballache if you want to mod them, especially engine mods because of they go wrong you have to fork out the hefty bill lol
@@antop4597 Yes and No... Let me explain... Financing? mmm the lyrics are expensive.. Much less the other way... In fact, the CuPra AteCa Limited Edition... was sold new for 60 thousand or 60-odd and I ended up selling new ones that were left at Full... for 43,990. That's how they all disappeared! 🤭🤭😌 .. Modifying them depends on whether you are going to keep them and look at the warranty part before, seeing that there are no failures or strange things. pay it and keep it or return it... and it depends on the km you do... It doesn't pay if you only go out on Sundays... I, for example, got the CuPra AteCa 2019 for 37/38 paid new 🫣 and no problem... Although I have already had many km and no problems. Also the house, its maintenance is a little out of date... You have to pay little attention to them... For example::.. The Dsg Oil is changed every 3 or 4 years without limit of km ... or every 120,000 km .. and driving 120,000 km with the same oil is crazy .. not all Buyers are the same or do the same... Well, they do things like that... It is best to go little to the home and do certain things yourself and that they give them...😋 It is the cheapest among "-" .. Power / Quality / Price / Acceleration / Consumption ratio .. For what there is ..☺️
It's not even the same segment of car. The cupra leon is and the previous gen the cupra was faster than a golf r and an s3 off a roll. Obviously not from a standstill
@@blankasosuainfochannel6127 Except this brand is a volkswagen regardless.....you can see the same design as the audi a3 with the stupid flippy transmission shifter that they copied out of the urus.
